The perch of the Duplex Lever is symmetrical and can be used as a left or
right-handed lever by removing the pivot and flipping over the lever. The handlebar
clamp is 7/8 inches in diameter (22.2mm) and fits standard cruiser, mountain, flat
and riser handlebars.
To use the Duplex with long-pull brakes like the Paul Motolite or other side-pull V-
brakes, place the pivot in the outermost position (marked V on the lever).
To use the Duplex with short-pull brakes like the Paul Racer or other cantilever or
caliper brakes, place the pivot in the innermost position (marked C on the lever).
The reach of the lever can be adjusted by turning the reach adjust screw located on
the side of the perch between the two cable holes.
When installing the Duplex Lever, set the tension of the front and rear brakes so that
the brake pads hit the rims at the same time. The two brakes can then be
independently fine tuned with the included inline barrel adjusters.
