This Inverter is ideal to be used for Computers (PC, Laptop, etc.), Radio, Video, TV, Navigation Systems,
Battery Chargers and other appliances with a nominal power requirement of 100 Watts maximum.
Protective Features: Low and High Voltage Shut Off
Unit switches off in case of low voltage (prevents the battery from total discharge). When the
maximum allowable input voltage is exceeded, the Inverter gets switched off and the red LED fault
light turns on.
Overload Protection
When the maximum allowable power draw is exceeded, the Inverter turns off and the red LED fault
light comes on.
Reverse Polarity and Short Circuit Protection
Built-in 15A glass fuse in the cigarette plug fuse holder.
High Temperature Safety Shut Off
If the unit’s temperature exceeds 158°F, it will switch off automatically and the red LED fault light will
come on. After unplugging and cooling down, the Inverter can be used again.
Connecting the device:
Plug the unit into the 12V cigarette lighter / accessory socket. Plug your 120V device into the Inverter.
When the Inverter works properly, the green LED will be lit.
NOTE
First switch off the appliance and only after that unplug the Inverter.•
To make sure that the• car battery does not get discharged too quickly, use it only when the engine is on or
start your engine everyhour.
If the Inverter is on and thegreen LED isnot illuminated, please checkthe fuse in the Inverter. If the fuse•
is blown, replace it with a fuse of the same type. Disconnect the Inverter, open the cover of the cigarette
lighter connector and replacethe fuse (see fuse replacement section in instruction).
Because the AC outputvoltage is influenced by the Inverter, the volt of output will read approximately.•
20V lower with common voltmeters. Only when using “True-RMS” voltmeters,a true value is displayed.
When you are not using theInverter for a long time period, or when youare recharging the battery,•
disconnect the Inverterfrom the battery.
When using the Inverter with video appliances (e.g., TV sets), interference may occur; however, it will not•
damage the appliance by any means. Place theInverteras far from the TV set as possible.
Please note that the power indicated with some appliances may be the average value; some appliances•
requiremuch higher power when getting started. Thus, it is possible that certain appliances will not work
with the Inverter.
General Cautions:
To prevent short circuit, use only appliances in good condition (don’t exceed the maximum power output)!•
Use this device with caution. Carry out all necessary connections with utmost care. Have repairs done by•
professionals only.
Make sure that the working area is dry and cleanaswell as properly ventilated.•
Objects that get heated easily should not be placed near the Inverter.•
This unit should be operated out of the reachof children.•
To ensure proper air circulation, make sure that theventilation ports are not covered on the Inverter.•
When the protective features of the Inverter go off (red LED faultlight comes on), check thefunctionality•
as well as the maximum input power of the connected appliance.
Do not connect solely inductive loads to the Inverter (ex.large motors, transformers, etc.);•
they may cause damageto the device.

Se cuenta con un fusible de vidrio de 15ª, colocado dentro de un porta fusible que va en el toma
corriente del encendedor de cigarrillos.
Apagado de seguridad por altas temperaturas
Si la temperatura de la unidad excede los 185°F, ella se apagará automáticamente y se encenderá el
diodo emisor de luz (LED) roja, que indica una condición de falla. Después de la desconexión y una
vez se haya enfriado la unidad, el convertidor puede ser utilizado nuevamente.
Conexión del dispositivo:
Conecte la unidad en el tomacorriente del encendedor de cigarrillos de 12V. Conecte al convertidor,
su dispositivo de 120V. Cuando el convertidor esté trabajando normalmente, el diodo emisor de luz
(LED) verde se encenderá.
NOTA

Debido a que el voltaje de salida de la corriente alterna AC es afectado por el convertidor, su lectura será•
aproximada. Con los voltímetros comunes, la lectura estará 20V por debajo de lo real. Solamente cuando
se usan los voltímetros «True-RMS» se muestra el valor verdadero.
Cuando no se esté utilizando el convertidor de corriente durante un largo período de tiempo, o cuando•
esté recargando la batería, desconecte el convertidor de la batería.
Cuando esté utilizando el convertidor de corriente con equipos de video (p.ej. equipos de televisión),•
se puede presentar alguna interferencia; sin embargo, ésta no dañará el equipo de video de ninguna
manera. Coloque el convertidor, tan lejos del equipo de televisión como sea posible.
Por favor, tenga en cuenta que la potencia indicada para algunos electrodomésticos puede referirse•
al valor promedio; algunos electrodomésticos requieren mucha mayor potencia en el momento del
encendido. Por lo tanto, es posible que algunos electrodomésticos no funcionen con el convertidor.
