These instructions provide information and advice on installation, use and maintenance
of the product. Read them carefully before using the product to ensure safe and proper
use. Non observance of these instructions can cause persona injuries, as well as product
damage or destruction. Keep these instructions and pass them on with the product if
sold or lent to others.

BEFORE USE
•After removing the packaging inspect the product carefully to make sure it has no
signs of damage caused during transport. In case of any doubt, do not use the
product and take it to your dealer or to an authorized service centre.
•Before plugging the product in make sure your mains specifications correspond
to those of the product stated on the label sewn into the product.
•Only use the heating cushion supplied with the product (product reference
number shown on the label sewn into the boot.) Do not swap with heating
elements from other devices.
•This product must not be used with sick or disabled persons, with persons
insensitive to heat or persons with restricted physical, sensory or mental
capabilities. It also must no be used by children or by people lacking the required
experience and knowledge of product operation unless they are properly
instructed on how to operate the product safely, or unless the control unit is
switched on and set by a responsible person. In all circumstances, while using the
product, children should always be supervised by and adult to prevent them
from playing with it.
•Do not use the product under the effects of alcohol, sleeping pills or sedatives.
•Do not use the product on animals.

•Do not apply the product to any areas of the body where the skin presents scars,
wound, inflammation or any other alteration due to illness. Consult your
physician.
•This product is designed for home use only. It is not intended for professional
applications or medical use in hospitals.
•The boot must only be used for warming the feet. Any other use of the product
will be considered hazardous. The manufacturer will decline all responsibility for
any damage due to improper or incorrect use.
•Although electromagnetic field emitted by these products is extremely low,
pacemaker users should consult their physician before using the product.
•Do not use the product folded or creased. Do not store the product creased.
•Do not stick pins, needles, or any other sharp objects into the product.
•Do not use the product while wearing shoes.
•Avoid using the heating cushion inside or outside the boot without its cover.
•Do not place heavy objects on the product.
•Never bring the product into contact with other sources of heat, such as other
heating pads, underblankets, hot water bottles, etc.
•Do not cover the control switch while operating the product, do not place it
above or below the heating element or inside the boot while the unit is in
operation.
•Excessively long use of the product running at a high temperature may produce
skin burns. Avoid falling asleep with the product in operation.
•Do not leave the product unattended while in operation.
•In any case avoid wetting the control unit.
•Do not touch the control unit with wet hands while the product is plugged in.
•Do not use the product in excessively humid environments or in environments
where the risk of splashing liquid on it is high (e.g bathrooms, showers,
swimming pools.) In the presence of bottles or glasses with beverages, take care
not to splash then on the control unit.
•Do not expose the product to environmental agents (rain, sun, etc.)
•Unplug the product from the mains when not in use.
•Before cleaning the product from the mains when not in use.
•Cleaning instructions are found in a specific section of this manual.
•Protect the power cord from scraping against edges and from coming into
contact with very hot objects that could damage it.
•Do not pull on the power cord or use the heating part itself to pull and unplug
the product from the mains.
•Do not hold the product by the power cord to move or carry it.
•If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent, or similarly qualified personnel in order to avoid any hazard.
•Inspect the product frequently for signs of wear or damage. If these signs appear,
do not use the product, and take it to an authorized service centre.

•This product has no parts intended to be repaired or replaced by the user. If any
part of the product fail, or the product does not perform properly, or there Is any
other kind of anomaly, do not attempt to repair it and instead take the product to
an authorized service centre.
•The appliance must be returned to the manufacturer or his agent if the fuse of
control unit has ruptured.

INSTRUCTIONS
F70 FOOT WARMER BOOT
The F70 is modern and attractive newly designed foot warmer combining different
materials and technical and design features to create a unique innovative product with
truly outstanding performance, setting it apart from other similar products on the
market.
Firstly, a double zip on the front of the boot enables it to be fully opened, so feet can be
placed inside comfortably and for easy cleaning of the inner part.
Secondly, the inner heating element has been placed inside a soft, comfortable
removable cushion, so that it can be used as a heater inside the boor or as a standalone
heating device, adding to the product’s potential uses in the home-
Finally, has special design of the F70 heating boot, with its thick layer of thermal
insulation between the wearer’s feet and the floor, an its unique magnet closing system
between the legs to prevent heat loss, together with is superior heating power and
unique fast heating technology –which comes as standard in other PEKATHERM product
–greatly enchases the product’s performance and effectiveness, for maximum comfort

OPERATING INTRUCTIONS
1) Insert your feet inside the boot, unzipping the front part the product if necessary.
2) Close the zip and fasten the boot’s central tab, bringing it between your legs until
the magnet inside the tab connects to the rear part of the boot.
3) Plug the product into the mains socket, making sure your main’s specifications
correspond to those of the product stated of the label.
4) If everything is correct, only digital dot remains lit on the digital display indicator
on the control unit (heating function is not active yet).
5) Push the ON/OFF button on the control unit to switch on the product. Digital
display indicator shows default temperature setting.
6) Proceed to adjust the temperature among the four available settings by pushing
the temperature button on the control unit. In the same way, adjust your desired
AUTO-OFF time by pushing the time button. At this point the product is running
and regulating temperature normally. After a few minutes you will be able to
perceive warmth. Check that there are no creases or folds.
7) To switch off the product proceed to push the ON/OFF button again. The heating
element remains switched off and only digital dot is lit on the digital display.
To turn the product on push the ON/OFF button once again.
Remember to unplug the product from the mains if you do not use it for a
considerable period of time.
8) Unplug the product and let it cool down before storage.

SAFETY ELEMENS
All out products are provided with a multiple safety system:
Digital controlled electronic circuit
The control unit was specifically designed and exhaustively tested to guarantee the
highest safety standards.
Thanks to its exclusive high-precision electronic circuit, the control unit maintains the
temperature of the heating element constant, as well as ensures the correct operation
of the product. If a flaw such as excessive temperature is detected, the control unit will
immediately switch off the heating element. If this happens, all the LED indicators of the
control unit will start flashing simultaneously. In this case, unplug the product from the
mains and take it to an authorized service centre.
Safety AUTO-OFF
To maximize safety when using the product, an additional safety switch of function has
been incorporated into every control unit. This function sets a maximum period of time
for which the product can operate continuously. The period is set for 2 hours for the
footwarmer. When these periods have elapsed, the product will switch off automatically.
This reduces the risk to the user of spending too much time in contact with heating
element, as well as the risk of leaving the product in operation unnecessarily.
When the safety AUTO-OFF function is activated, the heating element is switched off. To
restart the product, push the control unit ON/OFF button.
Safety heating elements
The heating elements of all our products use double-wounded wiring with an integrated
internal sensor element. They boast an especial technology that prevents hot spots and
makes impossible the overheating of the element. If, through a product failure or
improper use, the product reaches or exceeds a predetermined threshold value, the
heating element will be automatically switched off, this avoiding the risk of skin burns or
fire.

ADVICE ON TEMPERATURE SELECTION
Excessive heat continuously applied to the skin may produce skin burns. The maximum
temperatures our products can ever reach are those permitted by the current
regulations. The product reach temperatures between 55°C and 65°C. (Note: all
measures were collected in laboratory conditions with products totally covered,
according to procedures described in the EW60335-2-8 l Standard).
It usually takes 30 to 45 minutes for the product to reach the maximum temperature.
The products provided with fast heating function reduce this time to between 10 and 15
minutes.
You can set the control unit at the maximum level to obtain a faster warm up.
Remember, however, that you should not use this setting continuously for more than
one hour. After that time, we recommend that you lower the temperature gradually.
Regardless, thanks to the safety AUTO-OFF option, it will also turn the product off after
2h of continuous running.
Therapeutic benefits provided by these products have little to do with high
temperatures and are based on a consistent, controlled low-level heat. If, after a
considerable period of time, the product stops warming and gets cool, it may be due to
the activation of the safety AUTO-OFF, in order to protect you from having excess heat
applied to your skin.
PEKATHERM TECHNOLOGY
This product family is specially designed to ensure a smooth low-level heat which, apart
from comfort, provides recognised pain-relieving effects, since it dilates the blood
vessels and enables muscular distension.
The control unit was designed and developed together with the heating elements to
assure the best performance. At the start, when the circuit is switched on, the control
unit carries out an initial check recognizing the heating element and then proceeds to
scan and store technical data which enables it to optimize performance and assure the
best operating conditions.
The control unit is provided with high technology electronic circuitry, able to
continuously control and regulate the temperature of the heating element. It is also able
to detect increases and decreases in ambient temperature and compensate for them,
this ensuring that the temperature of the heating element is constant. It means that the
product will always reach the same temperature, regardless of ambient and use
conditions.
All our products have increased power to ensure a faster heating. During the first few
minutes of operation full power is applied to reach a selected temperature and once
obtained, the power application drops drastically to ensure low consumption.

TROUBLESHOOTING TABLE
When the product is plugged in, the digital display indicator does not light.
Check whether your mains socket has power, check whether the product is plugged in
correctly. Unplug the product and wait a few seconds, then plug it in again. Push the
ON/OFF button on the control unit.
After pushing the ON/OFF button on the control unit, the control unit fails
to set at the default temperature level, and the product does not warm up.
The control unit may have found an error at the start and blocks the product operation
for safety. Check if the digital display indicator has any special flashing.
Unplug the product from the mains, wait a few seconds and plug it again. If the problem
persists, take the product to an authorized service centre.
The product does not warm up.
Make sure the product is powered, by checking whether the digital display indicator on
the control unit is lit. Make sure the product is operating, by checking whether the digital
display indicator on the control unit is set at any temperature level. Remember that the
safety AUTO-OFF function may have switched the product off if the safety time period is
over. If that’s the case, push the ON/OFF button to switch the product on. In case of any
doubt, reset the product by unplugging it from the mains and plugging it in after a few
seconds.
After a period of proper functioning, the digital display indicator go off,
only digital dot remains lit on the digital display indicator, and the product
stops warming.
In order to ensure safety in use, all our products are provided with a safety AUTO-OFF
option which switches the product off after a certain number of hours of continuous
operation. The period is 2 hours for footwarmers. See SAFTEY ELEMENTS paragraph for
details.
If you want to turn on the product, just push the ON/OFF button on the controller.
The control unit appears to malfunction: the digital display indicator flash
continuously or shows strange symbols.
The control unit may have found a problem and blocks the product operation for safety.
Unplug the product from the mains, wait a few seconds and plug it in again. If the
problem persists, take the product to an authorized service centre.

Cleaning
Before cleaning the product, always remember to unplug it from the mains.
The body fabric of the boot and the fabric cover of the heating cushion are washable
with water, by hand or in a washing machine, provided the heating element inside the
cushion and temperature control switch have first been removed.
Follow the washing instructions indicated on the label sewn into the product. If washing
the boot and cushion cover in a machine a protective washing bag is recommended. Do
not bleach. Do not iron.
Alternatively, small stains can be removed by hand using a soft brush. The boot and the
cushion cover can also be washed by hand using a damp cloth or sponge and then dried
with a dry cloth.
If needed it can be washed by hand with soap, using liquid soap or dry foam and a cloth
or sponge. Apply the foam evenly to the fabric surface and brush.
The control switch and heating element in the pad cannot be washed with water or dry-
cleaned. Avoid all contact with water, including splashes of water on the control switch.
If the heating element gets wet, do not connect it to the mains and avoid wringing or
twisting it, do not tumble dry, or try to dry it by ironing it or switching it on. Place it on a
clothesline horizontally or vertically without bending and wait until dry. The control
switch should be positioned on the clothesline so that the water draining off it cannot
penetrate inside it. Do not use the product again until it is fully dry.
Storage
Let the product cool down before storing it. Avoid excessive folds or creates. Store it in a
cool dry place. Do not place any heavy objects on the product.
Inspect the product (the control unit, the heating elements, and the power cord)
frequently for signs of wear, damage, or misuse. If these signs appear, do not use the
product. Remember this product has no parts intended to be repaired or replaced by
the user. Do not try to carry out repairs and instead, take the product to an authorized
service centre.
Repairs may only be carried out by our after sales service or at an authorized service
centre. Improper repair may cause considerable danger to the user. In the event of any
doubt, please contact our customer service.
