1 APPLICATION
FP-11Q.1 front panel with barcode scanner is designed for ST-11 speed gate installation. There
is also an opportunity to install ACS controller plate inside. MERTECH N160 P2D is built into the
panel as a barcode scanner.
Attention!
Product is supplied as a part of ST-11 but to be ordered separately.
ACS controller is not included in a delivery set and have to be purchased separately by the
customer.
Climatic operation conditions of the product are determined by the operating conditions of ST-11
(category NF4 according to GOST15150-69 –operation in premises with climate control, at an
ambient temperature of +1°C to +50°C and relative air humidity up to 80% at +25°C), as well as the
operating conditions of the built-in ACS controller.
The storage is allowed indoors at ambient temperature from -40°C to +50°C and at relative air
humidity up to 80% at +15°C. In the storage room should also be no acid fumes and gases, causing
the corrosion.
Product in the original package should be transported in closed type cargo transport units (in railroad
cars, containers, closed cars, under decks, by plane, etc.). During transportation and storage, crates
can be stacked no more than 6 layers high.

4 INSTALLATION ORDER
Attention!
ST-11 speed gate installation order –see in ST-11 Assembly and operation manual. It must
be considered that overall length of a speed gate section with an installed FP-11Q.1 panel
increases for 110 mm (see Fig.1).

FP-11Q.1 front panel is to be installed on ST-11 speed gate instead of a standard front panel of the
section (see Fig. 1). Layout of FP-11Q.1 front panel is shown on Fig. 2. Hereinafter item numbers
are indicated according to Fig. 2.
1. Dismantle the top cover, stainless or made of artificial stone, from the ST-11 section. To do this,
use a SW4 hex wrench to unscrew four screws through the holes in the lower part of the top box
of the section (see ST-11 Operation Manual, section 8.8.6). At the stone cover, disconnect the
indicator cable from the indication plate.
2. Remove the front panel from the turnstile section (see ST-11 Operation Manual, section 8.8.2),
to do this, press it down to the stop and pull theupper part towards you, removing the panel hooks
from the grooves.
3. Remove the indication plate from the front panel by unscrewing 4 screws securing it to the bracket
inside the front panel. Fix the indication plate inside the upper box under the ST-11 section top
cover on 4 self-adhesive PCB pillars from the FP-11Q.1 panel delivery set. Connect the CAN
connecting cable to the indication plate (see Fig. 2).
4. Unpack the FP-11Q.1 panel. Open the lock (5) ofthe front cover of the panel (4) using the supplied
key and remove it. If needed install an ACS controller.
Attention!
ACS controller is not included in a delivery set. Maximum dimensions of a built-in ACS
controller should be not more than 250×125×70 mm (L×W ×H).
Controller should be installed on a bracket (6). To install a frameless controller delivery set includes
self-adhesive PCB pillars. Removable bracket should be installed with two screws (7).
5. Install the FP-11Q.1 panel into place in the ST-11 speed gate. With a marker, through two holes
at the bottom of the panel base, mark on the mounting surface the fixation points of the panel.

Remove the panel and drill holes in the mounting surface for anchors to secure the panel. Insert
anchors into holes.
6. Connect scanner and ACS controller.
7. Using a cable (3), connect the front indication module (2) to the indication plate in the ST-11
section. The procedure for connecting cables to the indication plate is shown in Fig. 2:
−so that the white arrow on the front indication module lights up - the cable from the end block
must be connected to the ARROW connector on the indication plate;
−so that the red cross is lit on the front indication module –the cable from the end block must
be connected to the CROSS connector on the indication plate.
8. Final install FP-11Q.1 front panel back on ST-11 speed gate and fix it with anchor bolts on the
mounting surface. Close the front panel cover.
9. Reinstall the ST-11 top cover, don't forget to connect the indicator cable of the artificial stone
cover to the LIGHT connector of the indication plate (see Fig. 2).

5 PERCO WARRANTY
PERCo (the Manufacturer) warrants that the FP-11Q.1 Front panel (the Product) complies with
applicable statutory safety requirements, electromagnetic compatibility provided that theinstructions
on storage, installation and operation, given in the Assembly & Operation Manual, are observed.
The warranty period is 5 (five) years commencing from the date of sale.
Should there be no date of sale on the warranty card, the warranty period shall commence from the
date of manufacture specified in the Certificate and on the Product label.

In the post-warranty period the replacement parts/components are warranted to be free from defects
in material or workmanship for a period of 3 (three) months from the date of shipment of the
repaired/replaced Product to the Customer.
All claims with regard to quantity, completeness and defects to appearance of the Product delivered
are accepted by the Manufacturer in writing within no more than 5 (five) working days after the
products are received by the Customer. In case of failure to meet the abovementioned deadline no
claims are accepted.
The Warranty does not cover:
•products, parts and components with:
- external mechanical damages resulting in the Product’s fault;
- defects resulting from Customer's improper testing, operation, installation, maintenance,
modification, alteration, or adjustment;
- damages due to force majeure circumstances (natural disasters, vandalism etc.) or defects
as a result of external circumstances (power surges, electric discharge, etc);
•fuses, accumulators, galvanic elements and other components, replacement of which is
performed by the Customer in accordance with the Product’s in-line documentation.
To the maximum extent permitted by the acting law, the Manufacturer does not incur a liability for
any direct or indirect losses of the Customer, including but not limited to loss of profit or data, losses
caused by idle period, missed profit, and etc. related to use or impossibility to use products and
software, including possible software errors and failures.
Within the warranty period the products are repaired free of charge at the Manufacturer’s site. The
Manufacturer reserves the right to repair failed product or replace it with an operational one. Time of
repair is specified at the moment the Product is accepted for repair. Transportation cost to and back
from the place of repair shall be borne by the Customer.
In order to shorten the repair time the Customer must inform the Manufacturer’s Technical Support
Department (the TSD) of the problem with the Product’s operation and/or about the origin of the fault
by submitting a filled-in Technical Support Form by e-mail, fax or via the Manufacturer’s website or
communicate directly a specialist of the TSD.
The Manufacturer reserves the right not to accept the Product for repair from the Customer who
failed to submit the Technical Support Form.
The Manufacturer’s warranty obligations don’t cover attendance by the experts
of a Customer and maintenance of any Product on site
If in the course of the examination taken by the Manufacturer of the Product or its parts/components
believed to be faulty, no faults have been detected, the Customer is responsible for compensation
of the Manufacturer’s expenses related to the examination.
Apart from the warranties mentioned above the Manufacturer does not provide any other warranties
with regard to compatibility of a Product purchased with software or products produced by other
manufacturers as well as any warranties that this Product will fit for the purposes not stipulated in
the Product’s in-line documentation.
The warranty does not provide for any claims with regard to the technical specifications of the
Product in case they are in compliance with those stated by the Manufacturer. The Manufacturer
does not guarantee that the Product purchased will meet Customer’s requirements and expectations.
PLEASE NOTE THAT PERCo PRODUCES TECHNICALLY SOPHISTICATED PRODUCTS
THAT, IF NOT FAULTY, CANNOT BE RETURNED BACK IF BY SOME REASON THE
CUSTOMER DEEMS THEM UNSATISFACTORY
The PERCo FP-11Q.1 Front panel is in conformity with the essential requirements
of the EU’s Machinery, Low-Voltage and EMC Directives and carries the CEmarking
accordingly.
