1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions
Read and understand this manual and all safety
signs before using this appliance.
Class 2.
•This device can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above, and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use
of the device in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the device. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
•If the external flexible cable or cord of this
device is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified person in order to avoid a
hazard.

•Always connect the device to a grounded
circuit to avoid risk of electrocution.
•Always disconnect mains power when the
device is not in use or when servicing or
maintenance activities are performed. Handle

they will not be walked on or pinched by
items placed upon or against them. Pay
particular attention to the point where they
exit the unit.
•Do not operate a visibly damaged device. Do
not attempt to operate this device if the
power cord has been frayed or broken.

an alternating current matching the value

•Never connect the device to a dimmer or

5. Operation
1. Install the fan on a dry, level and non-slippery surface.
2. Connect the fan to the mains.
3. Rotate the speed switch to the desired setting.
(0 = off, 1 = low, 2 = medium, 3 = high)
4. Switch off the fan and disconnect from the mains after use.

6. Tilting
1. Make sure to switch off the fan.
2. Slightly loosen the locking screw, tilt the fan to the desired angle and tighten the
locking screw.
3. Switch on the fan.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance
Before starting any cleaning activities:
1. Switch off the device.
2. Unplug the device's power cord from the outlet.
Cleaning
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Unplug the appliance from the mains.
3. Clean the inlet and outlet ribs with a vacuum cleaner.
Do not disassemble the appliance.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not clean the appliance
with water and never allow water to enter the motor and housing.
Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents.
Storing
Store the device in its original package in a dry and clean place.
Use this device with original accessories only. Velleman nv cannot be held
responsible in the event of damage or injury resulting from (incorrect) use of

1. Inleiding

Belangrijke milieu-informatie betreffende dit product
Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat, als het na zijn levenscyclus
wordt weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel
(en eventuele batterijen) niet bij het gewone huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een
gespecialiseerd bedrijf terechtkomen voor recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw
verdeler of naar een lokaal recyclagepunt brengen. Respecteer de plaatselijke

2. Veiligheidsvoorschriften
Lees en begrijp deze handleiding en de
veiligheidsinstructies vóór ingebruikname.
Klasse 2.
•Dit toestel is geschikt voor gebruik door
kinderen vanaf 8 jaar, door personen met
fysieke, zintuiglijke of verstandelijke
beperkingen, of door personen met gebrek
aan ervaring en kennis, op voorwaarde dat
dit onder toezicht gebeurt van een persoon
die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid of
hun aanwijzingen heeft gegeven, hoe zij het
toestel moeten gebruiken en zich bewust zijn
van de risico's die het gebruik van het toestel
met zich meebrengt. Kinderen mogen niet
met het toestel spelen. De reiniging en het
onderhoud van het toestel mogen niet
worden uitgevoerd door kinderen, tenzij ze
onder toezicht staan.

•Indien de voedingskabel beschadigd is, dan
moet deze door de fabrikant, diens
servicedienst, of een gelijkwaardig bekwaam
persoon vervangen worden om gevaar te
voorkomen.
•Sluit het toestel steeds aan op een geaard
stopcontact om elektrische schokken te
voorkomen.
•Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer
het toestel niet in gebruik is of voordat u het
toestel reinigt. Houd de voedingskabel altijd
vast bij de stekker en niet bij de kabel.
•Plaats de kabels zodanig dat niemand erop
kan trappen of erover kan vallen of
struikelen, vooral bij de stekker en het punt
waar de kabel het toestel verlaat.
•Gebruik nooit een beschadigd toestel.
Gebruik dit toestel niet indien de
voedingskabel beschadigd is.
•Sluit het toestel aan op een geschikt
stopcontact (zie label op het toestel).
•Sluit het toestel nooit aan op een dimmer of
reostaat.
•Als het toestel niet correct functioneert,
schakel het onmiddellijk uit.
•Het onderhoud mag uitsluitend door een
vakman uitgevoerd worden.
•Dit toestel is enkel geschikt voor
huishoudelijk gebruik.
•Bescherm dit toestel tegen water en
vochtigheid. Dompel het toestel nooit onder
in een vloeistof.

3. Algemene richtlijnen
•Raadpleeg de Velleman® service- en kwaliteitsgarantie achteraan deze handleiding.
•Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen. Schade door wijzigingen
die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan het toestel valt niet onder de garantie.
•Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. De garantie vervalt automatisch
bij ongeoorloofd gebruik.
•De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in
deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of
problemen die hier rechtstreeks verband mee houden.
•Noch Velleman nv noch zijn verdelers kunnen aansprakelijk gesteld worden voor

5. Gebruik
1. Plaats het toestel op een droog, vlak en slipvrij oppervlak.
2. Sluit het toestel aan op het lichtnet.
3. Plaats de schakelaar op de gewenste snelheid.
(0 = uit; 1 = laag; 2 = gemiddeld; 3 = hoog)
4. Schakel het ventilator uit en trek de stekker uit na gebruik.

6. De ventilator kantelen
1. Schakel eerst de ventilator uit.
2. Draai de borgschroef los, kantel de ventilator in de gewenste hoek en draai de
borgschroef opnieuw aan.
3. Schakel de ventilator in.

7. Reiniging en onderhoud
Alvorens het toestel te reinigen:
1. Schakel het toestel uit.
2. Ontkoppel het toestel van het lichtnet.
Reiniging
1. Schakel het toestel uit.
2. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
3. Maak het rooster schoon met een stofzuiger.
Haal het toestel niet uit elkaar.
Dompel het toestel nooit onder in water of andere vloeistoffen. Reinig het toestel nooit
met water. Bescherm de behuizing met de motor tegen water.
Gebruik geen bijtende chemische producten, reinigingsmiddelen of sterke detergenten.
Opslag
Bewaar het toestel in zijn originele verpakking in een nette en droge omgeving.
Gebruik dit toestel enkel met originele accessoires. Velleman nv is niet
aansprakelijk voor schade of kwetsuren bij (verkeerd) gebruik van dit toestel.

un service de recyclage local. Respecter la réglementation locale relative à la protection

2. Consignes de sécurité

les risques encourus. Ne pas laisser les
enfants jouer avec l'appareil. Le nettoyage et
l'entretien ne doivent pas être effectués par
des enfants sans surveillance.

•Un cordon d'alimentation endommagé doit
être remplacé par le fabricant, un technicien
ou une autre personne qualifiée pour éviter
tout danger.
•Toujours brancher l'appareil sur une prise
avec mise à la terre pour éviter tout risque
d'électrocution.
•Toujours déconnecter l'appareil lorsque
l'appareil n'est pas utilisé ou avant de le
nettoyer. Tirer sur la fiche pour débrancher
l'appareil ; non pas sur le câble.
•Disposer les câbles de telle manière que
personne ne puisse marcher ou trébucher
dessus, particulièrement au niveau des
fiches, des prises de courant et de la sortie
de l'appareil.
•Ne pas utiliser l'appareil s'il est visiblement
endommagé. Ne pas utiliser l'appareil si le
câble d'alimentation est endommagé.
•Toujours brancher l'appareil sur une prise
appropriée (voir étiquette sur l'appareil).
•Ne jamais connecter l'appareil à un variateur
ou un rhéostat.
•En cas de problème de fonctionnement,
arrêter immédiatement d'utiliser l'appareil.
•L'entretien doit uniquement être effectué par
un technicien qualifié.
•Cet appareil est destiné à un usage
domestique uniquement.

5. Emploi
1. Installer l'appareil sur une surface sèche, plane et antidérapante.
2. Brancher le ventilateur sur une prise électrique.
3. Placer le sélecteur de vitesse à la vitesse souhaitée.
(0 = éteint ; 1 = lent ; 2 = moyen ; 3 = rapide)
4. Éteindre le ventilateur et le déconnecter du réseau électrique après utilisation.

6. Incliner le ventilateur
1. Veiller d'abord à éteindre le ventilateur.
2. Desserrer légèrement la vis de fixation, régler l'angle d'inclinaison souhaité et
resserrer la vis.
3. Allumer le ventilateur.

7. Nettoyage et entretien
Avant tout nettoyage ou entretien :
1. Éteindre l'appareil.
2. Débrancher le câble d'alimentation.
Nettoyage
1. Éteindre l'appareil.
2. Débrancher l’appareil du réseau.
3. Nettoyer la grille à l'aide d'un aspirateur.
Ne pas démonter l'appareil.
Ne jamais immerger l'appareil dans l'eau ou tout autre liquide. Ne pas nettoyer
l'appareil avec de l'eau. Éviter que de l'eau ne rentre dans le compartiment du moteur.
Ne pas utiliser d'agents chimiques agressifs, de solvants ni de détergents puissants.
Rangement
Ranger l'appareil dans son emballage d'origine à un endroit sec et propre.
N'employer cet appareil qu’avec des accessoires d’origine. Velleman SA ne
peut, dans la mesure conforme au droit applicable être tenue responsable des
dommages ou lésions (directs ou indirects) pouvant résulter de l’utilisation de
