OPERATION
• This product is intended for measuring level surfaces.
• Please walk in a straight line to insure accuracy.
• Using this tool on uneven surfaces will reduce accuracy.
• This tool is not intended for use in the rain.
• If the display becomes dim,it is time to replace the batteries.
• Do not store this unit for a prolonged time with the batteries in the unit.
NOTE: This measuring wheel is designed to provide estimates of
distances. Because the wheel rolls on different surfaces, both
smooth and bumpy, the measuring wheel cannot be relied on to
provide precise measurements.
Before using the product, the lock on the handle needs to be
adjusted to the right height. Pull out the handle lock and slide the
handle up to the desired height. Press the handle lock closed to lock
the handle in place.
Turn off the Digital Measure Wheel after use to extend battery life. If
stored for an extended period, remove the batteries to avoid acid
corrosion to battery compartment.
Read these safety warnings before operation.
Always wear ANSI approved safety goggles when working with tools
and equipment.
Be aware of your surroundings. Do not use in traffic areas.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION CONTROLS OPERATION
m/Ft: Displays data in Metric or SAE.
SM: Store data. When this button is pushed, the data on the display will be
stored. Five records will be stored and displayed respectively as M1 M2 M3
M4 M5 (Table 1)
RM: Recall the memorized data. If you store 5 meters at M1, 10 meter
at M2, but the current measured distance is 120.7M,when you push RM one
time, it will display data at M1, ”R” will appears on right corner. After 2
seconds, it will display the data measured currently (See Table 2). If you
push the button two times, it displays the data at M2 and then returns to the
data measured currently.
CLR: Delete the current data. When this button is pushed one time it
will delete the data currently measured.
ON/OFF: Power Switch - The display will automatically power down after 5 min of
inactivity to extend battery life. Turning off the power clears data stored in
the memory slots.
