STEP 3: With the Backpack Straps adjusted for maximum comfort, remove the Fluid
Tank Cap and carefully fill the Fluid Tank with the desired amount of PermaSafe
antimicrobial product, or other appropriate solution of your choice, consistent with the
product’s label instructions. Reinstall the Fluid Tank Cap and securely tighten.
IMPORTANT NOTE:The PSF-B201 is designed and calibrated to atomize “thin” liquids,
specifically liquids with a viscosity or consistency similar to that of water. Heavier, more
viscous formulations generally will not atomize and can clog or damage the PSF-B201.
WARNING:Improper fogging of chemicals can lead to serious injury. Read and follow all
label instructions before attempting to apply any chemical with any fogging device.
IMPORTANT NOTE: NEVER TURN THE PSF-B201 “ON” UNLESS THE BLUE FLOW
ADJUSTER KNOB IS TURNED FULLY CLOCKWISE TO THE CLOSED POSITION
AND THE FLUID TANK CAP IS TIGHT.
STEP 1: With its Power Cord plugged into an appropriate power source, and the blue
Flow Adjuster Knob turned fully clockwise and closed, the PSF-B201 is ready for use.
STEP 2: To begin fogging, simply turn the PSF-B201 ON by pushing the Power Switch
to the ON position and then turning the blue Flow Adjuster Knob very slightly
counterclockwise until the desired fine spray volume is achieved.
IMPORTANT NOTE: WHEN TURNING THE PSF-B201 “OFF” PLEASE ADHERE TO
THE FOLLOWING PROTOCOL:
STEP 3: To turn the PSF-B201 OFF, please be sure to follow these steps:*
a. Raise the Application Hose Handle toa height above the fluid level in the Fluid Tank.
b. While keeping the Application Hose Handle above the fluid level in the Fluid Tank,
turn the PSF-B201 OFF by pushing the Power Switch to the OFF position.
c. Continue to hold the Application Hose Handle at a height above the fluid level in the
Fluid Tank for 3-5 seconds.
d. Turn the Blue Flow Adjuster Knob fully clockwise to the closed position.
*Failure to follow the above protocol can lead to fluid leaking out of the Discharge
Nozzle and onto the floor, as well as into the Application Hose and, ultimately, into
the Motor Housing and Motor, potentially causing premature Motor failure.
WARNING: Be sure to wear appropriate protective equipment such as gloves,
eyeglasses or goggles, approved respirator, protective clothing, etc. as recommended by
the chemical manufacturer.
