Customers Frequently Asked Questions
Please read before use, for your experience
Camera won't connect to the app and says connection
failed.
When opening the app for the first time, please make sure to authorize the
App with the album, location, WLAN & cellular data, otherwise, the
connection will fail. Please contact us for support when you can't get this
issue resolved.

Can't view live video on Peztio APP?
The cellular data will cause the live feed not to be viewed. Please disable the
"Peztio" cellular data of your cellphone.
Setting→Peztio→Disable the "Cellular Data".

Rear camera doesn't display?
Make sure the rear camera cable is connected correctly and fully plugged
into the rear camera input port, contact us if it is still not working.

Camera keeps saying "abnormal or no storage card"
after inserting an sd card or formatting it in the settings.
We only suggest to format your SD card onAPP, but if you failed to do it
on your app, please format the SD card into FAT32 format on PC.
Make sure you are using the recommended, CLASS 10, U3 Speed, and
256GB in card size or lower. Otherwise you will get notice of a malfunction.
The recommended SD card for Q4 (support up to 256 GB): please go to

Camera freezing/Only record for few seconds.
If the camera comes freezing, lagging, or only recording video for a few
seconds, this is the SD card issue, NOT the camera issue. Please format the
SD card to have a try(see page 16). Using the FAKE, WRONG and BAD SD
card can also result in this problem. If the problem is still after formatting the
SD card, please contact us and we are dedicated to resolving this for you.

Some of video files are missing/ Can't find videos
Our Q4 dashcam has a Loop Recording function, it will delete the oldest
files and record newer files when the SD card is full except the locked video
files. We recommend you to turn on the G-Sensor at low sensitivity which will
auto-lock the videos when a collision occurs. If you want to lock the current
video manually, press power button while the camera is recording. The video
will be locked and gets unable to be removed by Loop Recording.
The videos recorded by front and rear cameras are saved in different file
folders. When you connect the dashcam to your computer, you can find 2
folders named 1,2 represent front, rear video respectively. You can
download, playback and backup according to this video classification. When
you are playing video on APP, you will see a mark "F" or "R" to represent the
front videos and rear videos.

Glue pad falls off from windshield.
Please stick the electrostatic film on windshield firstly, then stick a new glue
pad on electrostatic film.

Key Functions Introduction
About Model Q4
Front 1440P and Rear 1080P 2 Channels
The Q4 is a dual channel dash cam which offers front camera and rear
camera, it can monitors the front and rear of your vehicle simultane-
ously with audio at 1440P + 1080P, perfect to protect yourself from
potential liability issues as well as accidents.
4K 2160P Resolution Front Camera Only
Q4 can record videos up to 4K (3840×2160) when the rear camera is
disconnected, which is 4 times resolution of traditional 1080P dash
cameras.
Wi-Fi and APP Connect
The built-in wireless signal transmitter of Q4 forms a local area
network within a 5-meter range, although 3 meters is optimal for signal
reception. You can download and view the video on the mobile APP.
Auto Lock the Vital Video in An Accident
When a severe bump happens to your vehicles, the current video will
be automatically locked and protected in the memory card, becomes
unable to overwrite by the loop recording.
Loop Recording
The Loop recording video can be set the timing 1 min, 2 mins and 3
mins. It will overwrite the oldest unprotected video with the lasted
footage, make space for your memory card.

Parking Monitor
When your car is off and you are away, if someone hits your car and if
the impact reaches the set Parking Monitoring sensitivity level, then
the camera will turn on and start to record a 30 second protected video
then power off auto.(see page 27). This function requires mini USB
hardwire kit installation.
24 Hours Parking Mode(Time Lapse Video)
After connecting the hardwire kit, the Q4 will automatically enters the
parking mode after the car is turned off, and the video recorded at this
time is a time-lapse video to save the storage space of the SD card. In
order to achieve this function, please purchase a mini USB hardwire kit
(not included in package), recommend hardwire kit for Q4: please go
to amazon.com search B09JC1CS48 (recommended) and connect the
hardwire kit to you fuse box(see page 27).

Install the main camera
Please install your Q4 following the guidance.
INSTALLATION
The camera comes with the default settings which allows you to
start using your camera right out of the box without changing any
settings. Make sure to format the memory card in Peztio APP before
first time use.
Make sure the camera is turned OFF First. Then align the GOLD CONTACTS
facing towards the BACK of the camera (Lens Side). Then insert the memory
card half way in. Then use the finger nail or a paper clip to push the card all the
way inward until it clicks and locks in place.
To remove the Micro SD card, gently push its edge inward until it clicks, and
then pops out, then simply pull it out of the slot.
The dashcam has certain requirements on the card speed of the memory card.
Must use only Brand Name, U3 or higher speed Micro-SD Card.
Maximum support 256GB. We Recommend SAMSUNG U3 Speed Micro SD
Card(NOT Included).

Installation Position: Most people will install their Q4 next to the rear view
mirror and opposite side from the drive. First, stop the engine where there is
some light and in a safe place.
NOTE
If you experience camera FREEZING or LAGGING or STOPS Recording
after few seconds. Then It is the issue of the MEMORY CARD. (NOT THE
CAMERA ISSUE) - Please Contact US.
Q4 Camera is High Bit-Rate 2 channels recording device, which requires
High Speed Rating SPECIFIC Micro-SD Cards.
Absolutely do NOT buy Sandisk Cards. Do NOT Purchase it from third party
seller on eBay or any online place. Otherwise they may be a fake cards and
will NOT work.
About electrostatic Sticker
Since the adhesive strength is strong on both sides and it is difficult to peel
off once it is pasted, it will be troublesome if the pasting position is incorrect.
Therefore, we design the electrostatic sticker to attached to the windshield
first,then stick the bracket with 3M Adhesive on the electrostatic sticker. You
can easily readjust location by sticking the 3M Adhesive on electrostatic
sticker and peel it off.

Make sure to clean your windshield from the dust particles and an
evaporated grease from the dashboard surface.

Stick the electrostatic sticker behind the rear-view mirror, which is the
recommended position to prevent blocking your view while driving.

NOTE
Make sure that the camera's view is not obstructed by any window tint or any
other objects.
If your vehicle has side curtain airbags please be very careful when running
any cables along your vehicle windows. Ensure you are not running Cable
past any of the airbags as this can prevent the airbags from deploying.
About electrostatic Sticker
To strengthen the fixing force, do not attach the main body and leave it for 24
hours or more.
Re-sticking may weaken the adhesive strength of the tape and cause it to fall
off. If you need more accessories, please CONTACT US.
Remove the protective plastic film from the mount, then fix the mount of
the camera on the electrostatics stickers.

Use the power cord to connect the MINI USB Power Port of the product to
car's cigarette lighter socket. Use the car wire trim tools to run the cable
through the A-Pillar.

Test and adjustment: with the USB car charger correctly connected, please
start your car to see if the Q4 dashcam successfully power on and start
recording automatically.
Auto Power ON: Q4 Dash Cam is designed to turn ON and start recording
automatically when it receives power. It will give out voice: "Start Recording".

Format the SD card.
When the memory card is inserted into the camera for the first time, it requires
to be formatted on APP. Please follow the steps below to format it properly:
1. Power on the camera and it will says "please format the SD card".
2. Connect Peztio APP and Access Camera (See Page13).
3. Select Camera Settings >> then scroll down until you see FORMAT SD Card
>> then choose Format SD Card >> then choose OK to confirm to format the
memory card (The formatting process will be super quick. Now press
the < button to exit the settings)

Auto Power OFF: The camera is also pre-configured to turn itself OFF
automatically when the power gets disconnected, i.e. when the car engine is
turned off.
Test the WiFi Connection
Please download the app and get the dash cam linked with your cellphone, to
test if the WiFi module works well.(see page 12 of this booklet)
Adjust the Mount Angle
Please rotate the mount of the dash cam to get the best angle of the road.
Format Reminder

NOTE
We recommend that you format the memory card every 3 months to keep it
clean for smooth operation.
Please note that memory cards have their self life span, after so many uses
of writing data over and over, eventually they will become in operable. When
that happens, please replace your memory card.

Install the rear camera

We recommend install the rear camera above the license plate or stick it on top
roof of the car inside.
Fix the rear camera in place by sticking the 3M adhesive tape or tightening
the screws.
The package comes with screws and 3M adhesive tape, you can choose
the method of fixing the rear view lens according to your situation (if you
choose to use screws, you may need to drill holes when there are no
reserved holes in your car).
If you need to adjust the rear camera angle, please rotate the rear camera.

REMINDER: Installing the rear camera requires certain professional skills. If
you are not sure whether you can install it yourself, please go to an auto repair
shop to hire a professional to install it, otherwise, it may cause damage to your
car.

Extra steps for the customers install above the license plate
(method 1):
ARemove the Panel
Remove your trunk’s interior panel to expose the cars rear wiring chambers.
Pop open your trunk and look for a solid interior panel covering the opposite
side of your license plate mounting area, then insert a trim removal tool ir
other thin device behind the panel and pry it off.
BSnake the cable
Use a trim removal tool to pop out tailgate trim, then run the cable
from outside of the car into the trunk of your car.

After snaking your rear camera’s cable into the trunk of the car, then
connect it to the rear camera extending cable. Route the extending cable to
the front of your car, you can hide the cable with the wire triming tool came
with the package.
Plug the socket of the rear camera extending cable into the rear camera
input port of the main camera, spark the ignition and see if both front, inside
and rear video will show on the display at the same time. If not, please
check if all the cable are firmly connected.
