2Installation and Wiring
2.1 Installationinstructions
1. Read "section 4. Selectmeasurementpoint"carefully. Afterthe designated location isselected, the area
outside the pipe to beinstalled shall be cleaned up, and the dense part ofthe pipe shall be selected for
installation.。
2. The centralpart ofthe sensorispasted with the company'sspecialcoupling pastes. During installation, the
coupling pastesshall be extruded to ensure the close fitting between the sensorand the pipe wall
withoutbubbles.。
2.2 Meterwiring
1. The flowdirection identification shall be consistentwith the flowdirection in the pipeline. See the
following chart forcable instruction

2.5 InstallationofE3temperaturesensor
2.5.1 Clamp-on temperaturesensor
1. The temperature sensorpipe clamp consistsofupperand lowertwo semi-circles. The clamp-on type
temperature sensorisembedded in the groove ofthe innerwall ofthe ring. When E3 isinstalled, the
pipe clamp equipped with temperature sensorisclamped on the pipe, and then locked with the inner
hexagonalscrew.
2. Before the clamp-on temperature sensorisinstalled, it isnecessaryto clean up the areawhere the
pipeline isto be installed, and remove rustand paint, etc.
3. Temperature sensors with red and bluemarkingsare installed in the influentand effluentpipe
sectionsrespectively.
2.5.2 Insertion typetemperaturesensor
1. Insertion type and clamp-on type temperature sensor’spipe clampsare universal.Insertion type
temperature sensors are installed in the holesofthe semi-circle asshown in the figure.
2. The insertion type temperature sensorisprovided with a sealing rubberring inside andoutside the hole, so
asto ensure thatthe insertiontype temperature sensordoesnotleak afterinstallation.
3. Temperature sensors with red and bluemarkingsare installed in the influentand effluentpipe sections
respectively.

3Displayand Settings
3.1 Display instructions
3.2 Keyinstructions
1. keyand ∨ Keyare used to selectthe menu up anddown, and ○ keyisused to determine.
2. Press forabout3 secondsand then releaseit for4 times, which can make the displayinterface
rotate counterclockwise 90 degreesdisplay, 180 degreesdisplay, 270 degreesdisplayand 360 degrees
restore display. Thatisto say, pressing once more can make the displayinterface rotate 90
degreescounter-clockwise, which isconvenientto switch the displayinterface to the appropriate state
in practicaluse.
3. Long press ∨ and then open, you can enterthe WIFIconnecting network mode(Suitable formeter
with WiFifunction). See Appendix 3 fordetails.
4. Ifyou press ○ for3 secondsorso, you can realize menu jump. meansincrease ofvalue, means
decrease ofvalue, and ○ meansrightshift ofvalue. Ifthere isa corresponding menu, you can jump to
the corresponding menu. Ifthere isno menu, you need to continue to inputuntil you entera correct
menu.
5. Underthe optionalmenu, press the ○ forshortto make the corresponding selection.

4Select MeasurementPoint
Thisflowmeteristhe simplestand mostconvenientin the installation ofall small caliberflowmeters. As
long asa suitable measurementpointisselected, it can measure byclamping the productpipe section area and the
watersupplyend on the pipeline.
When selecting themeasurementpoint, it isnecessaryto selectthe pipe section with uniformdistribution of
fluid flowfield to ensure the measuring accuracy. When installing, the following principlesshould be followed:
lSelecta section filled with fluid, such astheverticalpart ofthe pipeline (fluid preferablyflowsupward)or
the horizontalsection filled with fluid.
lThe measuring pointshouldbe a uniformstraightpipe with 10 timesdiameter(10D)fromupstreamand 5
timesdiameter(5D)fromdownstream. There are no valves, elbows, diameter-changing devicesin thisrange.
The lengthofstraightpipe section isrecommended to usethe valuesshown in the tablebelow.
lItisnecessaryto ensure thatthe temperature atthe measuring pointiswithin the working range.
lConsidering the scaling condition on the innerwallofthe pipe, the non-scaling pipe section is
selected tomeasure asfaraspossible, and the pipe section with uniformand dense materialand
easyto transmitultrasonic waveisselected.

6Communication Protocol
6.1 FUJI protocol
The FUJIprotocolofthe meteradoptsthe mode ofreplycommunication, and the uppersystemrequeststhe
meterto replybyissuing "commands". The baud rate ofasynchronouscommunication(main workstation,
computersystem, secondaryworkstation, ultrasonic flowmeter) isusually9600bps. Single byte data format(10
bits):1 starting bits, 1 stop bitsand 8 databits. Check bit: NONE.
6.1.1 Communication command
The basiccommandsare represented bydata stringsand the end ofthe command isindicated bya carriage
return line break.Theyare characterized byarbitrarydatalength. Thecommandscommonlyused are shown in the
following table:
