Only use the emotion™ for children between
3.5kg/7.7lbs and 15kg/33lbs.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS CLEANING & CARING
Check the emotion™ for cuts & bruises. If your
product is damaged in any way, or you’re not sure
how to use it, please consult our web support (www.
philandteds.com/support) from where you can access
a local customer care team.
Caring for emotion™
Unlike children, your emotion™ likes to stay clean.
• In case of little accidents, sponge wash with a
wet cloth. The emotion™ may be hand-washed
• emotion™ can be machine washed however
hand washing will extend the life of your carrier.
• Do not wring. Do not tumble dry. Do not use
any solvent or bleach based product These may
harm the materials. Line dry.
• Dry the emotion™ thoroughly before storage.
Store in a well ventilated space away from
direct sunlight which could damage or fade the
emotion's colourful coat.
• NOTE: Improper care will void any warranties. Do
not use the emotion™ if deterioration is detected
or suspected.

sink! No hard or sharp objects please; they
hurt!
• Its important to t your child correctly in the
carrier.
• Adjust straps to rmly & securely t the body
of your child. This may need adjusting further if
additional clothes are added or removed.

WARNINGS
American Safety Standard states:
FALL AND SUFFOCATION HAZARD
FALL HAZARD – Infants can fall through a wide
leg opening or out of carrier.
• Adjust leg openings to t baby’s legs snugly.
• Before each use, make sure all the straps
are secure.
• Take special care when leaning or walking.
• Never bend at waist; bend at knees.
• Only use emotion™ for children between
7.7lbs /3.5 kg and 33lbs/15 kg.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD – Infants under 4
months can suffocate in this product if face
is pressed tight against your body.
• Do not strap infant too tight against your
body.
• Allow room for head movement.
The emotion™ complies with requirements applicable in
market of sale, refer www.philandteds.com/certication
• Keep infant’s face from obstructions at all
times.
• Read all instructions before assembling and
using the soft carrier.
• Keep instructions for future use.
• Check to assure all buckles, snaps, straps,
and adjustments are secure before each
use.
• Check for ripped seams, torn straps or fabric
and damaged fasteners before each use.
• Ensure proper placement of child in product
including leg placement.
• Child must face towards you until he or she
can hold head upright.
• Premature infants, infants with respiratory
problems, and infants under 4 months are at
greatest risk of suffocation.
• Never use a soft carrier when balance or
mobility is impaired because of exercise,

drowsiness, or medical conditions.
• Never use a soft carrier while engaging
in activities such as cooking and cleaning
which involve a heat source or exposure to
chemicals.
• Never wear a soft carrier while driving or
being a passenger in a motor vehicle.
WARNINGS
European safety standard EN 13209-2:2005
states:
• WARNING: Your balance may be adversely
affected by your movement and that of your
child;
• WARNING: Take care when bending or
leaning forward or sideways;
• WARNING: This carrier is not suitable for
use during sporting activities.
• WARNING: Never use near naked ames.
• This soft carrier is intended for one child
from minimum weight of 3.5 kg, to a
maximum weight 15kg.

plus haut que le porteur. Il convient donc
d’avoir conscience des risques encourus
(encadrement de porte, branches basses,
etc.)
• AVERTISSEMENT — Lorsque le porteur
utilise le porte-enfant, il doit être conscient
des points suivants :
• l’équilibre du porteur peut être altéré en
raison des mouvements de l’enfant et de
ses propres mouvements ;
• le porteur fera très attention lorsqu’il se
baissera ou se penchera en avant;
• le porte-enfant peut être utilisé lors des
activités de loisirs, mais pas dans le cadre
d’activités sportives;
• il convient de prendre des précautions lors
de la mise en place ou du retrait du porte
enfant
• ATTENTION ! Sachez que l’enfant dans le
porte-enfant peut souffrir du temps et de la
température avant vous.

Entretien du emotion™
Au contraire des enfants, votre emotion™ aime rester
propre.
• En cas de petits accidents, épongez-le avec un
chiffon humide. Le emotion™ est lavable à la
main.
• Le emotion™ est lavable en machine, mais vous
allongerez sa durée de vie en le lavant à la main.
• Ne le tordez pas pour l'essorer. Ne le mettez pas
au sèche-linge. N'utilisez aucun produit solvant
ou à base de Javel. Cela pourrait endommager
les matériaux. Suspendez-le pour le faire sécher.
• Assurez-vous que le emotion™ soit bien sec
