PART 1: IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age and
older and by persons with physical or mental impairments or by
inexperienced persons, if they are properly supervised or have
been informed about how to use of the product in asafe manner
and understand the potential dangers. Cleaning and maintenance
performed by the user must not be performed by children unless
they are older than 8 years of age and under supervision. Keep
this appliance and the power cord out of reach of children that are
younger than 8 years of age.
• Children must not play with the appliance.
• Before plugging this appliance into a power socket, make sure the voltage stated on the model plate
corresponds to the voltage in the power socket.
• Never use accessories, which have not been supplied with this appliance or which are not designed for this
appliance.
• Always place the appliance on an even and stable surface.
• Do not place the appliance on window sills or unstable surfaces.
• Do not use the appliance in an industrial environment or outdoors!
• The appliance is designed only for household use and constructed for processing the usual amount of food
in ahousehold.
• If you will not be using the appliance, turn it off and disconnect the power cord from the power socket. Store
the appliance out of children'sreach.
• Never use the blender on ahot hotplate or gas stove or near appliances that are sources of heat.
• Make sure that the power cord and plug cannot come into contact with water or dampness.
• Make sure the power cord does not hang over the edge of atable or that it does not touch ahot surface.
• Turn off the appliance before disconnecting the power cord from the power socket.
• Do not disconnect the appliance from the power socket by pulling the power cord - it may damage the
power cord / power socket. Disconnect the cord from the power socket by gently pulling the plug of the
power cord.
• Do not use an appliance with adamaged power cord. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
an authorised service centre or by asimilarly qualified person, this will prevent the creation of adangerous
situation.
• Entrust all repairs and adjustments to a specialised company/service. Unqualified tampering with the
appliance may result in injury by electric shock.
• Do not use the appliance for any other purposes than those intended.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the power socket if you will be leaving it without supervision and
before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
• Do not put your hands into the blending jar while the appliance is running.
• Do not put objects into the blending jar other than ingredients or liquids, which are to be blended.
• Do not process hot or boiling liquids. Allow them to cool down to at least 60°C before blending them.
• Do not leave the appliance in continuous operation for longer than 2 minutes. Before turning it on again,
allow the motor to rest for at least 2 minutes.
• When blending hard ingredients or large doses of ingredients/liquids do not operated the appliance for
longer than 1 minute.
• Attention! The blending blades are sharp! Under no circumstances should you touch them when the
appliance is running! When cleaning the blades, follow the instructions in the Care and Cleaning chapter.

PART 3: BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using the measuring cup, lid, blending jar, portable jar, lid and blade assembly, it is necessary to wash
these parts in warm water containing kitchen detergent. Then thoroughly rinse these parts under running water
and dry thoroughly.
WARNING:
The blade assemblies in the portable jar and in the blender jar are very sharp. There is aserious risk of injury.
Handle them very carefully.
Safety jar locking system
The appliance has a safety jar locking system that will prevent it from being started unless it is properly
assembled.
PART 4: USING THE BLENDER
You can use the blender in two ways. The first way is with the blending jar (C) attached and the second way is
with the blade assembly (J) and portable jar (H) attached.
Using the blending jar (C)
1. Place the blending jar (C) on to the motor unit (G).
2. Place the ingredients that you wish to process into the jar.
3. Put on the lid (B). Make sure that the lid and the measuring cup (A) are properly attached.
4. Insert the power plug into apower socket.
5. Select the blending speed by pressing button I(E) or II (F). Hold the blender firmly with both hands.
6. As soon as the ingredients are properly processed, release the selected speed button and disconnect the
power cord from the power socket.
7. Take the blending jar (C) off the motor unit (G).
Operation with the portable jar (H)
1. Place the ingredients into the portable jar (H) and then carefully attach the blade assembly (J).
2. Place the jar with the blade assembly on to the motor unit (G).
3. Insert the power plug into apower socket.
4. Select the blending speed by pressing button I(E) or II (F). Hold the blender firmly with both hands.
5. As soon as the ingredients are properly processed, release the selected speed button and disconnect the
power cord from the power socket.

PART 3: BEFORE FIRST USE

6. Take the blade assembly off the motor unit.
7. Turn the jar upside down so that the blade assembly (J) is on top and carefully take it off the jar (H).
Incorrect handling may result in the contents of the jar being spilled.
8. Now you may place the lid (I) on to the portable jar (H) and enjoy your prepared beverage, e.g. on your way
to work.
ATTENTION:
Do not leave the blender running for longer than 1 minute; majority of ingredients require only quick pulse
blending to achieve satisfactory results.
Whenever the appliance heats up while blending, turn it off, pull the power plug out of the power socket and
allow the blender to rest for at least 15 minutes before using again.
Under no circumstances should you go above the MAX mark. This risks overloading the appliance and
damaging it.
RECOMMENDATION:
To achieve an even consistency, always cut the ingredients into equal size pieces (approx. 1.5 x 1.5 cm).
PART 5: CARE AND CLEANING
Before cleaning, always make sure that the blender is turned off and the power plug is disconnected from the
power socket.
Take the blending jar off the body of the appliance and empty it. Pour clean water (about 0.5 L) into the
blending jar and close the lid. Place the blending jar on to the body of the appliance. Press and briefly hold
down button Ior press it repeatedly. In this way you will release the remains of blended ingredients from the
blending jar and the blade assembly. (You can do the same with the portable jar and blade assembly.)
Disconnect the blender from the power socket. Ensure that the blending blades have come to afull stop. Remove
the blending jar from the body of the appliance and pour out the water. Use warm water and kitchen detergent
to clean the measuring cup, lid, blending jar, portable jar, lid of the portable jar and the blade assembly. Then
thoroughly rinse under flowing water and dry thoroughly.
Attention! The appliance'sblending blades are sharp! When handling them, pay extra attention.
Clean the body of the appliance with alightly damp cloth and dry it. Never submerge this part of the appliance
in water or in any other liquid.
Do not use any abrasive cleaning products, petrol or solvents to clean the appliance and its accessories.
Place the appliance in aclean, dry place out of reach of children.

not be added to ordinary municipal waste. For proper disposal, renewal and recycling hand over
these products to determined collection points. Or as an alternative in some European Union states
or other European countries you may return your products to the local retailer when buying an
equivalent new product. Correct disposal of this product helps save valuable natural resources and
prevents damage to the environment caused by improper waste disposal. Ask your local authori-
