PART 5: ASSEMBLING AND DISASSEMBLING
Before you start assembling or disassembling the appliance, make sure that the power unit is turned
o, disconnected from the power socket andthat the rotating parts are not inmotion. Parts that attach
to themotor unit must be dry andclean!
STICK BLENDER
1. Attach the stick blender attachment to the motor unit so that the arrow on
the attachment is aligned with the open lock symbol on the blade unit. Turn
the attachment to the left until the arrow on the attachment is aligned with
the closed lock symbol. Correct locking is indicated by a click.
2. Mix the food in thesupplied container or other suitable container, which is
intended for contact withfood.
3. When removing, turn the attachment to the right until the arrow on the
attachment is aligned with the open lock symbol. Disconnect the stick
blender attachment from the motor unit.
4. When using the stick blender toblend food in thepot, always remove the pot
from the hob rst.
5. The food you put in the supplied container should not be boiling or too hot
to avoid damaging the container. It is recommended to allow the food to
cool down to about 50 to 60°C before using the stick blender.
CHOPPER
1. Install the blade unit on the centre pin on the bottom of the container.
2. Fit the lid of the chopper container so that the projections on the sides of the
container t into the cut-outs in the lid and are aligned with the open lock
symbol on the lid. Turn the lid to the left until the projections are aligned with
the closed lock symbol and you feel resistance.
3. Place the motor unit in the hole in the lid so that the arrow on the lid is aligned
with the open lock symbol on the blade unit. Turn the attachment to the left
until the arrow on the lid is aligned with the closed lock symbol. Correct locking
is indicated by a click.
4. When disassembling, turn the motor unit to the right until
the arrow on the lid is aligned with the open lock symbol.
Pull the motor unit upwards. Proceed in the opposite way
to assembling the chopper.
WARNING:
When handling the blade unit, take extra care not to cut
yourself on the blade.
