purier. Before you install GoPure in your car,
take time to read this guide.
The GoPure Car air purier will help you protect
your health by improving the quality of the
air you breathe in your car. It is known that
air pollution levels inside cars are often much
higher than outside.
The GoPure Car air purier removes
harmful gases and ne particles such as
microorganisms. It also reduces bad odors to
make the time in your car more pleasant and
healthier.

The Lumileds warranty applies, provided:
• The product is handled properly for its
intended use only.
• The product is used in
accordance with its operating instructions.
• You present the original invoice with the

3 How to install Philips GoPure car air purier in your car
1. Remove liner from the
hook fastener. Avoid
touching the adhesive side.
3.1 Installation-placing under the car seat (recommended position)
2. Paste the 2 strips hook
fastener at the bottom of
the device.
Important :
It is recommended to remove
any surface contaminants
that may reduce adhesion.
Isopropyl alcohol is a good
general use solvent for
cleaning contaminants from
surfaces for example.
3. Plug in power adaptor to a
12V outlet in your car. Route
the cable under your seat
to the back. Keep the cable
away from seat rails.
m Warning
For your safety, never
position the device under
the seat by sliding it from the
front of the seat.
Always slide it underneath
from the back of the seat.
4. Connect power cable
to device and place it
underneath the car seat from
the back.
5. Press down the device for
better attachment with
the carpet.

Depending on your car
model, you may install the
device in various areas of
your car, such as the armrest,
headrest.Philips GoPure car
air purier may be installed in
various positions:
• horizontal
• vertical (90°)
Notice:
1 The safety harness may not
be suitable to the armrest of
all car models.
2 Unpack the lter before
using

3.3 Connection and operation
1 Connect the power cable to
the device as shown.
2 Connect the power adapter
to a 12V outlet in your car.
1 Place the safety belt over
the device as shown, with
the furry surface facing the
device.
3.2 Installation-using the headrest or armrest
2 You may install Philips
GoPure car air purier on
any headrest or armrest of
your car.

4 Using GoPure car air purier functions
2 Touch the power button to switch the speed mode in sequence of auto,
boost and silent. The power button will emit a sound while being pressed.
1 To turn on the device, touch the power button, the device will start running
in auto mode with emitting a sound.
When the vehicle power supply is on, the device starts automatically in auto mode.
3 To turn o the device, hold down the power button for 2s until it emits
a sound.
Understanding air quality indicatorr
The air quality indicatorr shows the air quality inside your car at all times.
Red Unhealthy air quality
Yellow Fair air quality
Blue Good air quality

5 Philips GoPure car air purier-How lter works
Philips GoPure Car air purier is
composed of a multi-layer ltration
system that guarantees the most
eective air-purication. All lter
layers are assembled in one single
simple-to-replace lter.
mImportant
Philips GoPure car air purier
indicates automatically when you
must change the lters.
When the lter needs to be
replaced, the lter replacement
indicator will ash red for 30
seconds then remain red each time
the device is turned on.
Replace the lter immediately
using only genuine Philips GoPure
SelectFilter Plus.
It helps maintain the maximal
performance of your GoPure Car
air purier and helps to provide the
purest air quality inside your car.

5.2 How to restart GoPure car air purier after
a lter replacement
m Important
You must reset
the Philips GoPure device after
every lter replacement.
To reset your device after
replacing the lter:
1Plug the device into the power
supply and ensure that it is
turned o.
2 Touch and hold the power
button over 3s until it emits a sound,
the lter replacement indicator is
blinking in red for 15s, lter reset
done once indicator turns o.
3 Car air purier purier operates
in the normal mode once top cover
is locked.
4 Repeat the above steps if the
lter reset fails.
m Important
For you safety,
GoPure car air purier will shut down
automatically whenever you open the
top cover.

Problem 1
Philips GoPure Car air purifier
does not start.
Solution 1
• Verify that the 12V power supply
is on.
• Check the power connection
and make sure the socket
is properly inserted.
• Make sure the top
cover is pushed down to lock
properly.
• Press the power button again. If
your device still does not restart,
please contact your retailer.
Problem 2
Some cars continue to power the
12V outlet when the engine is o.
Solution 2
To avoid draining the battery,
Philips GoPure car air purier will
automatically power o after two
hours of continuous running.
• To restart your device, press the
power button.
Problem 3
After filter replacement, Philips
GoPure filter replacement
indicator remains red at restart.
Solution 3
The power button was not
properly pressed.
• Repeat the reset steps section 5.2.
• If lter replacement indicator
turns o, the device has been
reset properly.
Problem 4
The Philips GoPure motor stops
running for a short while.
Solution 4
This is normal: the device has a
voltage protection.
At times, the voltage supply from
vehicle may vary and uctuant,
in these cases, the device will
turn o automatically. Touch the
power button to restart
the device.
Problem 5
Philips GoPure air quality
indicatorr does not change for a
very long time.
Solution 5
It may simply indicate stable air
quality.
It may also indicate that the air
intake slots are obstructed or
polluted.
• Make sure the air circulation
around the device is free.
• Restart the device.If the problem
remains, please contact your retailer.
Problem 6
Philips GoPure air quality
indicatorr changes frequently.
Solution 6
This is normal and the device
is working properly. When the
air quality is poor, the device
performs its cleaning process.
However, the air quality indicatorr
reects the air quality near the
device. At times, this may bring
a frequent air quality display
change. Let the GoPure car air
purier perform its cleaning
process. When the air reaches good
quality, the air quality indicatorr will
turn blue as described.
Problem 7
Philips GoPure air quality
indicatorr shows a blue light, but
some odor remains in the car.
Solution 7
Philips GoPure air quality
indicatorr only reects dust-
related pollution in the air. It does
not indicate chemical pollution.
However, Philips GoPure car air
purier still removes dust and
chemical pollutants while running.
• Let the device perform its
cleaning process and the air
quality will improve rapidly.
Problem 8
Philips GoPure car air purifier has
been running for a long time, yet
my new car continues to produce
unpleasant odor.
Solution 8
Some unpleasant odor in new cars
may come out continuously from a
variety of sources.
GoPure car air purier device
continues to purify the air.
However, some odors may be
produced continuously.
GoPure car air purier reduces the
air pollutants considerably.
• To speed up the air cleaning
process in a new car, you may run
GoPure car air purier in Boost
mode (section 2 in page 8).
