of DECT cordless telephones depends on :
the environ ent in which the base station
is located : thick walls, etallic window fra es
etc. near the base will reduce the phones range
the presence of obstacles between the base
station and handset : for exa ple, when using
a handset in the garden with the base station
inside the house, the range ay be reduced
by the exterior wall of the house.
