HOWTO BREW COFFEETOYOUR

◗Always the right balance between coffee and
water with the Active Balance System.
Strength selector
◗Remove the red transportation clip before you
start using the appliance 0.
1 Set the strength of your coffee by means of the
strength selector 1(the knob on the right!).
If you prefer mild coffee, turn the knob to the left. If
you prefer strong coffee, turn the knob to the right.
2 Put the system in balance by means of the "OK"
knob 2.
The indicator of the Active Balance System can be
put in "OK" position by turning the "OK" knob to the
left or to the right 3.
3 When putting the system in balance, make sure
that:
- the filter holder is in place;
- the appliance does not contain any water or
ground coffee.
Brewing coffee
1 First fill the water tank with water (the indicator
of the Active Balance System goes up).Then fill
the filter holder with ground coffee until the
indicator of the Active Balance System has
reached the "OK" position 3. Now you can
switch the appliance on.
2 If the coffee is too mild, turn the strength
selector one position to the right the next time
you brew coffee. If the coffee is too strong, turn
the strength selector one position to the left.
Then repeat steps 2 and 3.
Note:
Because of the brewing speed of the appliance, the
coffee will have a relatively milder taste when you
brew a small amount of coffee.
If the coffee maker takes longer to brew coffee or if
it switches off before the water tank is empty,
descale the appliance according to the instructions
for use.

adecuada de café y agua con el Active Balance
System.
Selector de intensidad
◗Antes de utilizar el aparato, quite el precinto de
transporte rojo 0.
1 Puede seleccionar la intensidad de café deseada
con el botón selector de intensidad de café 1,
que es el botón de la derecha.
Si está acostumbrado a tomar el café suave, gire el
botón a la izquierda. Si prefiere el café fuerte, gire el
botón a la derecha.
2 Regule la cantidad de café y agua con el botón
"OK" 2.
Al girar el botón de "OK" hacia la izquierda o la
derecha, el indicador de Active Balance System se
colocará en posición "OK" 3.
3 Al regular la cantidad de café y agua de la
cafetera (balance system), asegúrese de que:
- el soporte del filtro está en su sitio;
- el aparato no está lleno de agua y/o café.
Preparar café.
1 Llene primero el depósito con agua (el indicador
de Active Balance System subirá). Luego llene el
portafiltros con café molido hasta que el
indicador del Active Balance System alcance la
posición "OK" 3.Ahora ya puede conectar el
aparato.
2 Si el café está demasiado suave, la próxima vez
que haga café mueva el selector de intensidad
una posición a la derecha. Si, por el contrario, el
café está demasiado fuerte, mueva el selector de
intensidad una posición a la izquierda. Después
repita los pasos 2 y 3.
NOTA
Debido a la velocidad a la que la cafetera hace café,
el sabor será algo más suave cuando vaya a preparar
poca cantidad.
Si la cafetera tarda más en preparar el café o se
desconecta antes de que se vacíe el tanque de agua,
elimine la cal del aparato siguiendo las instrucciones
de uso.
