● 電源アダプタの電源プラグを抜くときは、電源コード部を持
たずに必ず先端の電源アダプタ部を持って引き抜いてくださ

い。ケガややけど、絶縁劣化による感電・漏電・火災の原因
となります 。
● 刃は強く押さえないでください。破損して皮膚を傷つけるこ
とがあります 。
● 刃やコームなどの部品が破損または故障した場合は、本製品
を使用しないでください。ケガの原因になります。交換の際
には必ずフィリップス社製の同型部品とお取り替えください。
● 電源コネクタ受部にピンやごみを付着させないでください。

● 本製品は、頭髪のカット専用です。それ以外の目的で使用し

の強い液体は絶対に使わないでください。

●刃を傷める場合がありますので、タオルやティッシュペーパーなどで水
分を拭き取らないでください。
●本体は水洗いできません。必ず付属のクリーニングブラシでお手入れ
してください 。

1掃除をする前に、電源がOFFに
なっていること、また電源アダプタ
に接続されていないことを確かめ
てください 。
3コームを取り外して、付属のクリーニン
グブラシで掃除し、水ですすぎます。
4リリースボタンを押して（図①）、刃を
取り外します（図②）。
7掃除後、水気をよくきって、刃の両側に
ある爪を本体にひっかけて（図①）、刃
を カチッとロックさ れ るま で 押し 込 ん で
ください（図②）。
2乾いた布で本体をふきます。

髪を垂直に引き上げます。このとき
髪は一度にたくさんはさまないこ
と。指 の 上 を すべら すように、刃 を
水平に動かします。

髪を指の間にはさみ、毛が平行にな
るように 持 ち 上げ少し引っ張ります。
指の上をすべらすように、刃を水平
に動かします。

刃を上から当てて、指の腹
を押さえるようにしてカット
します。
地肌に垂直に髪をはさんで、頭頂部
と長さを合わせてカットします。

7 . プラグ式消臭・芳香剤を使用しているコンセントあるいはその近くのコンセ
ントに電源アダプタを接続しないでください。電源アダプタを傷める原因と
なりま す 。
4 . 刃は、薄く仕上げてありますので、刃部を強く押さえたり、硬いものに当て
ないよう、ていねいに扱ってください。
5 . 直射日光の当たる場所には保管しないでください。夏場、車の中に放置し
ないでください。
6 . 本 製 品 は 、使 用 の 都 度 、掃 除 を し て く だ さ い 。

※使用後は電源をOFFにし、ご使用のたびに掃除をしてください。
1コームの取り付け
本体の両側の溝に沿って、カチッと音がするまで装着させ（図①）、長
さ調整ノブを押しながら（図②）、お好みの位置までスライドさせます
（ 図 ③ ）。

1室内でカットするときは、下に新聞紙かビニールクロスなどを敷き
ます。
2髪をカットしてもらう人の頭部が、カットする人の胸の高さにくるよう
にしま す 。
3首から肩にタオルをかけて、ケープをとめます。
4髪を毛の流れに沿ってとかします。
注意
●洗髪後、髪を乾かした状態で使用してください。髪がぬれた状態で
ヘアーカッターを使用しないでください。
●カット時は、整髪剤は使用しないでください。
23mm以上の長さに切りたいときは、髪を指にはさんで切ります。
●コームは、外した方がカットしやすくなります。
●髪を指にはさまず、直接髪の根元に刃が触れた場合、髪がとても短く
（ 約 0.5mm）カットされますのでご注意ください。
電源の入れ方

本製品は充電式ではありません。
電源アダプタをつなげてからご使用ください。
また付属の専用アダプタで他の製品を充電しないでください。

だんだん切れ味が悪くなった

刃の寿命は1回約30分 、月 2回の使用で約5年が目安ですが使用時間・回数によ

刃やコームが破損・摩耗した場合は、必ずフィリップス社製の同型部品とお取
り替 えくださ い 。

● コームを使用し、カット後の仕上がりの長さを

● コームを外してカットした時の仕上がりの長さは約

1コームを使用した場合の仕上がり
の長さは右の表の通りです。本体
にmmで仕上がりの長さが書かれ
ています。
2コームを本体の両側の溝に沿って、取り
付けます。
3コームをお好みの設定位置にするに
は、長さ調整ノブを押しながら（図①）、
コームをお好みの位置までスライドさ
せます（図②）。仕上がりの長さは本体
の矢印にコーム上の目盛を合わせて
設定します。
4ヘアーカッターの電源をONにしま す 。
5皮膚に強く押しつけず、コームをすべら
すようにゆっくり動 かして 髪 をカットしま
す。効率よく髪をカットするには毛の流れ
に逆らってヘアーカッターを動かしてく
ださい。
6カットした髪の毛がコームにたまった場合は、ヘアーカッターから
コームを取り外し、髪を取り除いてください。
ポイント
●使い始めは、最も長い設定である23mmでカットし、少しずつ仕上がりの
長さの設定を短くしていくことをおすすめします。
●カットの仕上がりを均一にするために、コームの平らな部分が頭皮と密着
するようにヘアーカッターを動かしてください。
●カットした部分と、次にカットする部分が重なるようにヘアーカッターを
動かすと、髪の刈り残しがなくなります。
※ 頭髪は部位によって毛の向きが異なります。毛
の向きに合わせて、カットする方向（上下・左右）
を変 えてみてください。

Important safety information
Read this important information carefully before
you use the appliance and its accessories and save
it for future reference.
Danger
-Keep the supply unit dry (Fig. 2).
Warning
-Only use the detachable supply unit (HQ8505)
provided with the appliance.
-The supply unit contains a transformer. Do not
cut o the supply unit to replace it with another
plug, as this causes a hazardous situation.
-This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
-Always check the appliance before you use it.
Do not use the appliance if it is damaged, as
this may cause injury. Always replace a
damaged part with one of the original type.
Caution
-This appliance is not washable. Never immerse
the appliance in water and do not rinse it under
the tap (Fig. 2).
-Only use this appliance for its intended purpose
as shown in the user manual.
-For hygienic reasons, the appliance should only
be used by one person.
-Never use compressed air, scouring pads,
abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids
such as petrol or acetone to clean the
appliance.
-Do not use the supply unit in or near wall
sockets that contain an electric air freshener to
prevent irreparable damage to the supply unit.
Electromagnetic elds (EMF)
This Philips appliance complies with all applicable
standards and regulations regarding exposure to
electromagnetic elds.
General
-The supply unit is suitable for mains voltages
ranging from 100 to 240 volts.
-The supply unit transforms 100-240 volts to a
safe low voltage of less than 24 volts.
Using the appliance
The hair length settings are indicated in
millimeters, the comb cuts the hair to a length of
1 mm to 23 mm. The settings correspond to the
remaining hair length after trimming.
Warning: Be careful when you trim for the rst
time. Do not move the trimmer too fast. Make
smooth and gentle movements.
Tip: Start trimming at a high length setting and
reduce the length setting gradually until you have
reached the desired hair length.

Note: You can only use the appliance when it is
connected to the wall socket.
1 Insert the small plug into the appliance and put
the supply unit in the wall socket (Fig. 4).
2 Push the on/o slide upwards to switch on the
appliance (Fig. 5).
3 Push the on/o slide downwards to switch o
the appliance (Fig. 6).
Trimming with the trimming comb
1 Attach the trimming comb to the appliance (Fig. 7).
2 slide the length setting adjustment slide to the
desired length setting (Fig. 8).
Note: When you trim for the rst time, start at
the highest length setting to familiarize yourself
with the appliance.
