Before connecting
-Disconnect your TV set and all other equipments from the mains
-If you intend to receive scrambled channels, insert your smart card (not
supplied) in the Common Interface module (not supplied) with the golden chip
facing up.Then insert the CI module in the CI slot at the front of your receiver
Connecting
Connect the satellite cable to the (“Tuner 1- LNB In”) at the rear of your
receiver
At the rear of your receiver, connect the “Tuner1 Loop Through” to the
“Tuner2 LNB In” with the supplied short RF cable
Connect the SCART cable to the “SCART IN” socket of the TV set and to the
“TV” SCART socket at the rear of the receiver
Connect another SCART cable to the “VCR” SCART input at the rear of your
receiver and to the EXT1 socket at the rear of the VCR or DVDR
Reconnect your TV set and other equipments to the mains and switch on the
TV set
Connect the “Out to ANT” from your VCR or DVDR to the “RF In” of your TV
Connect the “In from ANT” of your VCR or DVDR to the terrestrial antenna

2Install
-Insert the two batteries supplied in the remote control
-Plug the receiver’s power cord to the mains and switch the power key
on the back of your receiver on the position “1”
-The satellite receiver is now switched on and starting.This can take
around 30 seconds. Front display indicates “Booting Up”
-From now on you can switch your receiver with the on or off
(almost instantly).
-The first installation screen appears
-Set your favorite menu language by using the arrow keys (ui)
-Set appropriate values for each component
-Press EXIT to save and proceed to the second installation screen
-Set appropriate values for each component (note that the settings can
be modified later; for more details refer to the User Manual)
-Press EXIT to save your changes and start scanning for channels
-When scanning has been successfully completed, a completion message
is displayed
-Press the green key to exit and save the channels; the receiver will
automatically tune to the first channel in the list

Changing channels while watching digital TV or listening to
digital radio
-Dial a number using the remote control number keys to tune to the
corresponding channel.
-Press P+ or P- keys of the remote control or press P+/P- buttons on the
front panel
-Press OK to access the Channel list and tor ykeys to navigate in the
list. Press OK to watch selected channel and close the channel list
Electronic Program Guide (EPG)
While watching digital TV or listening to digital radio:
-Press to open the EPG for the current channel
-Use the arrow keys to move to any desired programs
-To record a program, press REC on the specific program you wish to
record
-To set a reminder for a program, press OK on the specific program
-Press OK on a selected current program to watch it and exit the EPG or
EXIT to exit the EPG without changing channel
Instant Recording
-Press REC to record the channel you are currently watching, you
can watch other channels during the recording
-Press when you want the recording to stop
-Alternatively, press . Now and next programs name are available.
Press REC to record the selected program
-Toplay back a recording, press HDD/Libraryon the remote control or from
the Menu/Media Manager/Library and press OK to play the selected program
Pause LiveTV
-To Pause Live TV, press
-To go on watching the program, press once more
-To go back to live TV, press and confirm with the green key or
change channel
-Press uor ito fast forward or fast rewind within the Time Shift
