Important
Read these instructions for use carefully before
using the appliance and save them for future
reference.
◗Check if the voltage indicated on the
appliance corresponds to the local mains
voltage before you connect the appliance.
◗Do not use the appliance if the plug, the cord
or the appliance itself is damaged.
◗If the mains cord of this appliance is damaged,
it must be replaced by Philips, a service centre
authorised by Philips or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
◗Never suck up up flammable substances or
corrosive liquids and do not suck up ashes
until they are cold.
◗Never immerse the vacuum cleaner, the
charging unit and the adapter in water and do
not let water enter the motor unit or the
charging unit.
◗Remove the adapter from the wall socket
before cleaning the charging unit.
◗Only charge the vacuum cleaner with the
adapter and charging unit supplied. During
charging, the adapter will feel warm to the
touch.This is normal.
◗Do not hold the appliance with the dust
compartment pointing upwards and do not
tilt the appliance to one side when sucking up
liquids.
◗Always switch the vacuum cleaner off after
use.

◗Keep the appliance out of the reach of
children.
◗The voltage on the contact strips in the
charging unit is low (max. 12 volts) and
therefore not dangerous.
◗Never block the exhaust openings while
vacuuming.
◗Switch the appliance off when recharging it.
◗When the appliance has been used to suck up
liquids, empty and dry the dust compartment
before storing the appliance in the charging
unit.
◗To avoid the risk of electric shock, be careful
when drilling holes in the wall to attach the
charging unit, especially close to a wall socket.
Preparing for use
C1Screw the charging unit to the wall with
the screws supplied with the appliance.
You can also place the vacuum cleaner and the
charging unit flat on a table during charging.
C2The crevice tool and the squeegee can be
attached to the charging unit by pushing
them into the appropriate fastening slots.

C3Wind excess mains cord and store it in
the charging unit.
Charging
Charge the appliance for at least 16 hours before
you use it for the first time.
Recharge the appliance as soon as the motor
power decreases noticeably.
1Make sure that the slide switch of the
vacuum cleaner is in off position (0) during
charging.The appliance will not charge if
the slide switch is in another position.
2Insert the adapter into the wall socket.
C3Always put the vacuum cleaner back onto
the charging unit after use to recharge the
batteries, even if the batteries are still
almost fully charged.
C◗The indicator light will come on to indicate
that the appliance is charging.
BThe indicator light will stay on as long as the
appliance is connected to the charging unit and
the adapter is in the wall socket.
BThe indicator light does not give any information
about the charge level of the built-in batteries.

Using the appliance
Make sure that the deflector and the filter have
been inserted into the dust compartment before
using the appliance to suck up either dry
materials or liquids.
C1Insert the deflector and the filter into the
dust compartment.
C2Push the filter firmly into the dust
compartment.
Vacuum cleaning
C1Set the slide switch to position I for
normal suction power. Set it to position II
for turbo suction power.
C2When sucking up liquids, hold the
appliance with the dust compartment
pointing downwards at an angle. Make sure
the squeegee touches the surface to be
cleaned. Do not tilt the appliance to one
side.
C◗Do not hold the appliance with its dust
compartment pointing upwards, as this would
cause liquid to enter the appliance and
damage the parts inside.

C3Stop sucking up liquids when the liquid
level inside the dust compartment has
reached the maximum indication line.
4Empty the dust compartment each time
you have used the appliance to suck up a
liquid.
Connecting accessories
Hard-to-reach places
C◗Use the crevice tool to vacuum clean hard-to-
reach places.
Do not use the crevice tool to suck up liquids.
Liquids
C◗Connect the squeegee to the dust
compartment.
Cleaning
Always remove the adapter from the wall socket
before cleaning the charging unit.
Empty and dry the dust compartment when you
have used the appliance to suck up liquids.

Never immerse the vacuum cleaner or the
charging unit in water.
◗Clean the appliance with a damp cloth.
◗If necessary, clean the dust compartment, the
deflector and the filter with cold or lukewarm
water.The dust compartment, the deflector
and the filter may NOT be cleaned in a
dishwasher.
Emptying the dust compartment
Empty the dust compartment and clean the filter
regularly.
C1Press the break button and open the
vacuum cleaner over a dustbin.
C2Remove the filter and the deflector from
the dust compartment.
3Empty the dust compartment and clean
the filter.
Clean the filter with a brush or with a normal
vacuum cleaner if it is very dirty.
Never use the vacuum cleaner when the filter
and/or the dust compartment is/are still wet.
Replacement
Replace the filter if it can no longer be cleaned
properly (usually after having been cleaned 50
times).

C1Remove the deflector and the filter frame
from the dust compartment.
C2Separate the filter from the deflector.
C3Gently turn the filter clockwise to detach
it from the frame.
C4Remove the old filter and replace it with a
new filter.
C5Push the tip of the filter inwards.
Ordering filters
New filters are available under type no. FC8036.
Contact your Philips dealer.

Environment
Saving energy
If you are not going to use the appliance for a
longer period of time, we advise you to remove
the adapter from the wall socket to save energy.
Disposal of batteries
NiCd/NiMH batteries can be harmful to the
environment and may explode if exposed to high
temperatures or fire.
C◗Remove the batteries when you discard the
appliance. Do not throw the batteries away
with the normal household waste, but hand
them in at an official collection point.
You can also take the appliance to a Philips
service centre, which will remove the batteries for
you and will dispose of them in an
environmentally safe way.
Only remove the batteries if they are completely
empty.
C1Let the appliance run until it stops, undo
the screws and open the vacuum cleaner.
C2Cut the connecting wires one by one and
remove the batteries.

◗Saugen Sie mit diesem Gerät keine leicht
entzündbaren Substanzen oder ätzenden
Flüssigkeiten auf. Saugen Sie Asche erst auf,
wenn sie völlig ausgekühlt ist.
◗Tauchen Sie den Akkusauger, die Ladestation
und das Netzteil niemals in Wasser.Achten Sie
auch darauf, dass kein Wasser in die
Motoreinheit oder die Ladestation dringt.
◗Ziehen Sie das Netzteil aus der Steckdose,
bevor Sie die Ladestation reinigen.
◗Laden Sie den Akkusauger nur mit dem
mitgelieferten Netzteil und der mitgelieferten
Ladestation auf.Während des Aufladens fühlt
sich das Netzteil warm an. Das ist ganz
normal.
◗Wenn Sie Flüssigkeiten aufsaugen, dann halten

Sie das Gerät niemals so, dass die
Staubkammer nach oben zeigt; kippen Sie es
auch nicht auf die Seite.
◗Schalten Sie das Gerät nach jedem Gebrauch
wieder aus.
◗Halten Sie das Gerät außer Reichweite von
Kindern.
◗Die Stromspannung an den Kontaktstreifen in
der Ladestation ist sehr gering (maximal 12
Volt) und daher ungefährlich.
◗Blockieren Sie beim Staubsaugen nicht die
Abluftöffnungen.
◗Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, wenn Sie es
wieder aufladen.
◗Wenn Sie mit dem Akkusauger Flüssigkeiten
aufgesaugt haben, sollten Sie die Staubkammer
entleeren und trocknen, bevor Sie das Gerät
zur Aufbewahrung in die Ladestation stellen.
◗Seien Sie besonders vorsichtig, wenn Sie zum
Anbringen der Ladestation Löcher in die
Wand bohren (insbesondere in der Nähe
einer Steckdose), um das Risiko eines
elektrischen Schlags zu vermeiden.
Vor dem Gebrauch
C1Befestigen Sie die Ladestation mit den
mitgelieferten Schrauben an der Wand.
Sie können den Staubsauger und die Ladestation
zum Aufladen auch flach auf einen Tisch legen.

C2Die Fugendüse und die Nassdüse lassen
sich an der Ladestation befestigen: Stecken
Sie das Zubehör in die dafür vorgesehenen
Schlitze.
C3Wickeln Sie überschüssiges Kabel auf und
verstauen Sie es in der Ladestation.
Die Akkus aufladen
Laden Sie die Akkus vor dem ersten Gebrauch
mindestens 16 Stunden lang auf.
Laden Sie die Akkus spätestens dann wieder auf,
wenn die Motorleistung spürbar nachlässt.
1Achten Sie darauf, dass der Ein-
/Ausschalter während des Aufladens auf
Position 0 steht. Steht der Schalter auf
einer anderen Position, werden die Akkus
nicht aufgeladen.
2Stecken Sie das Netzteil in die Steckdose.
C3Setzen Sie den Staubsauger nach jedem
Gebrauch zurück auf die Ladestation,
damit die Akkus nachgeladen werden, auch
wenn sie noch fast voll geladen sind.

C◗Die Ladekontrolllampe leuchtet auf und zeigt
an, dass die Akkus geladen werden.
BDie Ladekontrolllampe brennt, solange das Gerät
mit der Ladestation verbunden ist und das
Netzteil in der Steckdose steckt.
BDie Ladekontrolllampe gibt keinerlei Auskunft über
den Ladestand der integrierten Akkus.
Der Gebrauch des Geräts
Bevor Sie mit dem Saugen flüssiger oder
trockener Substanzen beginnen, müssen Sie den
Deflektor und den Filter in die Staubkammer
eingesetzt haben.
C1Setzen Sie den Deflektor und den Filter in
die Staubkammer ein.
C2Drücken Sie den Filter fest in die
Staubkammer.
Staubsaugen
C1Stellen Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter für
normale Saugleistung auf Position I und für
Turbo-Saugleistung auf Position II .

C2Beim Aufsaugen von Flüssigkeiten halten
Sie das Gerät so, dass die Staubkammer in
einem Winkel nach unten zeigt.Achten Sie
darauf, dass die Nassdüse in Berührung mit
der zu reinigenden Fläche bleibt. Kippen
Sie das Gerät nicht auf die Seite.
C◗Halten Sie das Gerät nicht mit der
Staubkammer nach oben; sonst könnte
Flüssigkeit eindringen und das Gerät
beschädigen.
C3Unterbrechen Sie den Saugvorgang, sobald
der Flüssigkeitsspiegel die Markierung
"Maximum" in der Staubkammer erreicht
hat.
4Leeren Sie die Staubkammer jedesmal,
nachdem Sie Flüssigkeiten aufgesaugt
haben.
Das Zubehör anbringen
Schwer erreichbare Stellen
C◗Verwenden Sie die Fugendüse, um schwer
erreichbare Stellen staubzusaugen.
Verwenden Sie die Fugendüse nicht zum
Aufsaugen von Flüssigkeiten.

Flüssigkeiten
C◗Bringen Sie die Nassdüse an der
Staubkammer an.
Das Gerät reinigen
Ziehen Sie stets das Netzteil aus der Steckdose
bevor Sie die Ladestation reinigen.
Entleeren und trocknen Sie die Staubkammer
wenn Sie mit dem Gerät Flüssigkeiten aufgesaugt
haben.
Tauchen Sie den Akkusauger und das Netzteil
niemals in Wasser.
◗Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten
Tuch.
◗Reinigen Sie die Staubkammer, den Deflektor
und den Filter bei Bedarf mit kaltem oder
lauwarmem Wasser. Die Staubkammer, der
Deflektor und der Filter sind zur Reinigung im
Geschirrspüler NICHT geeignet.
Leeren der Staubkammer
Leeren Sie die Staubkammer und reinigen Sie den
Filter regelmäßig.
