The HD-ATSC is Pico Macom’s state-of-the-art 8VSB/HD digital decoder.
The HD-ATSC will take a high or standard definition 8VSB digital signal and
convert to analog video and audio output. The unit features three separate
outputs: (1) analog video and audio output for compatibility with non-HD tele-
vision and (2,3) component and HDMI output for viewing in full high definition
television. The HD-ATSC features a user-friendly set-up guide that allows for
easy channel mapping and installation. The unit is also equipped with ATSC
compliant forward error correction (FEC) decoding tools that enables the
reception of digital terrestrial signals in weak signal conditions.
