On the back of the lock you will see screw buttons which relate to the push buttons on the front of the lock.
To set the numbers for your code, depress and turn the screw button relating to the desired digit 180 degrees so that the
dot is facing inwards (towards the F). If you wish to take a number out of the code, turn the screw button so that the dot
is facing outwards (towards G).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Be sure to check the code on the lock works before tting/re-tting the lock and closing the door.
When the lock is coded and you would like to change the code, be sure to turn all screw buttons from the current code in
a clockwise direction 180 degrees (all dots facing outwards) to cancel the original code then set your new one.
Each and every time you wish to unlock your door you must start by pushing the ‘C’ button.
The snib on the internal block can be used to keep the latch open. Simply turn the lever handle to withdraw the
latch and push the snib to the opposite side.
See instructions on the snib that performs this function in the next section. Also check that the latch moves freely by pressing the end and by turning with the spindle.

Applying the template:
1) Tape the template to the door. Make sure that you fold it along the appropriate line.
The back set on the included latch is 60mm.
2) Mark and drill the two 10mm holes and one 13mm hole.
3) Mark a central point on the “center line of latch” on the door edge.
4) Drill a 25mm hole x 85mm deep.
5) Insert the latch into the hole and draw around the face plate.
6) Remove the latch and cut a 3mm rebate so that the face plate will t ush with the door.
7) Secure the latch with the wood screws.
Please fasten all screws by hand. Do not use an
electric screwdriver or drill as over tightening is
not recommended.
You will need untighten the screw in the large hole on the
back of your digital lock to change the vertical handle to a
horizontal left or right hand opening.

Fixing the lock
1) Cut the xing bolt length to suit the thickness of your door.
2) Place the neoprene seals between the front and back plate and install onto door.
3) Tighten the upper and lower xings although be sure not to over tighten the xing bolts as this may
cause distortion and lead to poor operation.
Please note: Do not close the door until you are sure that the code works.
Fitting the spring loaded spindle
1) The split is loaded with a spring which ensures the split line is in line with the center line of the latch.
2) The spring can be used for doors with a thickness of 35 - 60mm.
3) The spring installed must be on the end that goes into the front plate.

Fitting the striker plate:
1) Position the striker plate on the door so that it lines up with the at base of the latch bolt (not the plunger).
2) Mark the inner and outer edges of the striker plate with a pencil/marker then remove and cut a 1mm rebate so that the striker plate
ts ush with the surface of the door frame.
3) Drill or cut the recess for the latch bolt.
4) Fix the striker plate with one screw rst. Test the lock to see if it works and is latching and locking correctly. If not proceed with any
necessary adjustments before securing completely.
Handy Hint
• If your door frame interferes with the lever it can be reversed by simply loosening the screw from the large hole in the back with a
screwdriver which will then loosen the handle and allow you to rotate it in the position that best suits your door. Please refer to diagram.
