When this switch issetto the ON position, power issupplied
to the tuner's main circuits. The unit's power switch is
gearedto selectingthe transformer's secondary and so even
at the STAND-BY position,
the unit's circuitry
will work as
long as the power cord is connected to the power outlet.
Disconnect the power cord from the AC power outlet when
the unit is not in regular
use.
