This appliance MUST be installed in accordance with the relevant wiring rules and
regulations and in particular those regulations which cover installation of appliances
and accessories in damp situations such as bathrooms, showers, laundries
and other areas with xed water containers. It is to be tted in accordance with
applicable Australian/New Zealand standards (AS/NZS).
This Class 1 Appliance Requires Earthing
Special purpose tools are required for the replacement of the power supply cord and
element. Contact an Authorised Service Agent for service.

Cleaning
The Heated Towel Rail is best wiped down from time to time with a damp cloth.
Do Not Use Any Abrasive Or Corrosive Cleaners.

SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read these instructions carefully and keep them handy for future reference.
• This appliance is used for warming and drying towels, therefore it is hot to touch.
Young children or inrm persons should be supervised when the product is
working and ensure that they do not touch the appliance.
• The appliance will feel hotter to touch during warmer periods because of the
rise in ambient temperature. Also the insulation effect of towels will cause the
operating temperature to increase slightly.
• The appliance should be installed so that switches and other controls cannot be
touched by a person in the bath or shower.
• This appliance is ONLY used for warming and drying towels, DO NOT use it for
any other purpose.
• To avoid danger this product MUST NOT be used to carry towels or any other
articles that have been in contact with oil, petroleum based products or dry
cleaning uids.
• Make sure the voltage complies with the specication on the rating label, or
elsewhere in these instructions.
• For your safety and others, make sure the electrical work is done by an authorized
person according to AS/NZS3000:2000 Wiring Rules and Regulations.
• DO NOT immerse in any liquid.
• DO NOT allow the power cord to contact with the hot surface when it is working.
• If the product does not work well or is damaged, it must be xed or replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied persons.
• WARNING: The bottom rail of this product MUST be installed at least 600mm
above the oor in order to avoid risk of harm to young children.
INSTALLATION
This towel rail is unique in the exible way you can connect to the power supply. The
electrical connection can be made through either the lower left or right legs. This
connection can be either directly wired through the wall or via the cord and plug
supplied.
Note: The heated towel rail must be installed by a professional service agent or
qualied person. Make sure you have read the safety information before installing.
Make sure there is enough space for your heated towel rail according to its real size
and there is no direct contact with other objects.
There are two methods of installation:

OPEN WIRING INSTALLATION
- A indicates the two structural brackets which x the towel rail
to the wall. The towel rail must be installed with these brackets
at the top. They are installed using METHOD 1 below.
- B and D indicate the two choices for the power cord (left
hand side or right hand side). Whatever bracket you choose,
follow METHOD 3 below for its installation. The remaining
bracket is installed using METHOD 2 you must make sure
the remaining socket is covered well as the picture shows to
prevent moisture entering the electrical connection.
CONCEALED WIRING INSTALLATION
- A indicates the two structural brackets which x the towel rail
to the wall. The towel rail must be installed with these brackets
at the top. They are installed using METHOD 1 below.
- B and C indicate the two choices for internal power
connection (left hand side or right hand side). Whatever bracket
you choose, follow METHOD 4 beiow for its installation. The
remaining bracket is installed using METHOD 2 you must make
sure the remaining socket is covered well as the picture shows
to prevent moisture entering the electrical connection.

WARRANTY
Note:
Please complete the following details when you have unpacked the product and
retain this card with the purchase invoice or sales docket.
Warranty:
This product is covered by a warranty in addition to all rights available to you by
statute.
The warranty is for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase, subject to
the following conditions. The warranty covers rectication free of charge of any fault
arising from defective materials or components, or faulty workmanship. The product
will be repaired or replaced by Plumbline.
Specic conditions relevant to this warranty are:
1. The purchaser carefully follows all instructions packed with the product;
2. The purchaser carefully follows the installation instructions provided and complies
with the electrical wiring regulations ;
3. The purchaser carefully follows the instructions provided in the owner’s handbook
relating to the proper use and care of the product and does not use the product for
any purpose other than which it has been designed ;
4. The product was purchased and installed in Australia or New Zealand;
5. This warranty does NOT extend to:
a) Damage to the surface coatings caused by cleaning or maintenance using
products not recommended by the owners handbook;
b) Defects caused by normal wear and tear, accident, negligence;
c) The product dismantled, repaired personally rather than by the professional
service man;
d) The product has been misused, abused, incorrectly installed, connected to an
electrical supply not corresponding with the rated specication, or subjected to
power surges;
6. If this product fails to work well, please send it back to the retailer from whom it
was purchased to get it xed or replaced. When you do this please also make sure
the warranty card and purchase invoice or receipt is presented with the product.
After you get a xed or replaced product, the warranty period will be the balance of
the original warranty period.
7. If the warranty period is expired, the product should be sent to a qualied
electrical service agent or authorised professional worker to x it. Related costs will
be at the customer’s expense.
