This PMD Personal Microderm is not intended for persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacies unless
supervised by a responsible party.
Users 18 and under must be supervised by an adult.
For indoor use only.
Keep the PMD Personal Microderm dry.
If the power cord or adaptor is damaged it must be replaced
by the manufacturer.
Only use parts or adaptors supplied in package.
Unplug from outlets when finished and when cleaning.

PREPARING FOR TREATMENT
Thoroughly cleanse the skin. Make sure it is free from all makeup,
dirt and oils. We recommend using the PMD Advanced Soothing
Cleanser, since it is specifically formulated to work with the PMD
device and treatments.
Once the skin is clean, allow it to dry completely before you begin.
A dry skin surface is parcularly important because it allows the
PMD to work properly and effecvely. If the skin is damp or
clammy, the disc will be unable to smoothly glide over it.

CONNECTING THE POWER CORD
Step 1: Connect the power cord to the device.
Step 2: Turn the connector one quarter turn unl it locks in place.
Note: There is no baery for this device. It is designed to run off a
power cord to maintain consistent performance.

IMPORTANT: The White disc is for training, use the Grey disc for the first treatment.

CHOOSING A DISC
Always begin the first treatment with the white training disc. Start
on the hand or neck before moving to the face. This will help you
pracce before using a stronger disc.
Aer praccing with the white disc, move to the grey disc, which is
the most gentle. Use the small disc for the face and delicate areas
and the large disc for the body.

INSERTING THE DISC
STEP 1
Push the disc down firmly on the post.
STEP 2
Twist on cap. Be sure to ghten
the cap firmly against the black O-ring.
STEP 3
Make sure the disc is sing slightly
below the cap. Adjust if necessary.

HOW TO USE THE DEVICE
Thoroughly cleanse and dry the skin.
Begin with the white training disc. Test on a small area of
the neck or forearm.
Pull the skin taut with your free hand to allow the Personal
Microderm to smoothly glide over the skin.
Move the Personal Microderm in an upward fluid moon
across the skin. Do not hover in any spots.
Do not use directly above or below eyes.
Immediately aer treatment, wash and dry the skin.
Apply a calming toner and recovery moisturizer. We
recommend the PMD Daily Cell Regeneraon System.
Clean the cap and filter aer use with rubbing alcohol
or anbacterial soap.

Disassembling the device

Remove cap by twisng
counter-clockwise.
STEP 2
Pull disc straight off.
STEP 3
Pull out dark filter.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Clean the cap with rubbing alcohol anbacterial soap.
Clean filter with warm water and rub between the
fingers and thumb.
Place the dry filter back in the device. If the filter is not
completely dry the vacuum will not work.
CLEANING
For best results, replace disc every 3 to 4 treatments. Replacement
discs are available at getpmd.com

Wash your skin so that it is totally free from all makeup, oils, loon, and dirt.
Make sure skin is completely dry before treatment.
Pull skin taut with your free hand so that the PMD will smoothly glide
over skin.
Start with the white training disc and then move to blue or green disc
depending on skin type.
Test product behind the neck or on the hand to see how your specific skin
type will react to the disc. Wait 3 to 4 minutes to see if there are any adverse
reacons. Use small disc and cap for face and large disc and cap for body.
Make sure disc sits below the cap. You can push disc down aer cap is on.
Apply sunscreen daily in between treatments.
Wait 6-7 days before next treatment so skin can rejuvenate.
Clean the cap and filter aer use, with rubbing alcohol or anbacterial soap
and let dry.
Watch training DVD and read directions before your first treatment.
Remember: Everyone has different skin. Test is best.

Don’t use any facial peel products like Alpha and Beta Hydroxy acid or rena A
or renol products 48 hours before or aer using the PMD. Your skin will be
too sensive.
Don’t use if you are on Accutane.
Don’t use if you are seeing a doctor for skin issues, have very sensive skin, or
are taking prescripons for your skin unless you have approval from your
doctor.
Don’t use directly above or below your eyes.
Don’t hover in one spot. You will quickly learn how your skin reacts to the
treatment. Use your best judgment to gauge the intensity with which you use
the PMD.
Don’t keep going over the same spot mulple mes. What the PMD is doing is
not always visible immediately. Be paent and aer 2 to 3 uses you will learn
how to best apply treatments on your unique skin.
Don’t connue the treatment if you feel pain. Pain will occur if you have gone
too deep. You will feel ngling and disnct sensaon but it should not be
painful. Gauge this on your skin type.
