How to calibrate potentiometer in
F5NU-MECPOT with Remote D3
po itioner

Removal of D3 Cover

Mount the remote feedback unit onto the actuator

Wiring Instructions
The remote unit hall be connected between terminal 3, 4 and 5 in the PMV D3
and 7, 8 and 9 in the remote feedback unit. U e a hielded cable and ground it in
the PMV D3 only. Max recommended di tance between PMV D3 and the
remote feedback unit: 5 m (16.4 ft).
NOTE: If D3 will be further than 5 m from the valve then you might need to
increa e the air tubing to 3/8” I.D.

1. With power applied to the D3, u e
the key pad and navigate to CALI RATE
> EXPERT CAL > POT. The D3 di play
hould now read like 1.
2. Pre the Down arrow key to troke
the valve to the correct po ition. Pre
the OK button once valve i at 0%
po ition.
3. Turn the pot gear in the direction the
D3 di play ay u ing the F5-22 tool
upplied with the remote feedback
unit. Once the pot gear i correct, ‘POT
OK’ will be di played on the D3’ LCD.
Pre OK.
NOTE: If the D3 never ay POT OK,
and keep changing direction from CW
to CCW (or vice ver a), then rotate the
bottom white gear wheel a full 180°
and try again.
