Sound waves cannot pass through
water so you must clear whatever is
blocking the mic aperture by gently
shaking out the water and allowing
the microphone to air dry.
Look for the W(Waterproof)
as part of the model
number on the white
tag located near the
end of the mic cable.

Windscreens are highly
recommended in heavy
water usage where it is
expected that water will
very likely flood
the aperture.

CUSTOMIZING YOUR HEADSET
TWO Mics
for the Size of ONE
The headset microphone’s
patent pending design offers
built-in microphone redundancy
with the convenience of a single
cable. The elements are factory
matched to a near identical ±0.5 dB
difference — and both elements are
waterproof. The mic elements are
offset to reduce mass and effectuate
a sleek profile.
Turn ear hook into
upright position to
snap lock in place.
Slide headband on
both sides to adjust
for a proper fit.
Attach cable to the
clip and secure to an
area near the neck.
Lock the boom
in place using
the S-Hook
Bend cable on the
boom side to avoid
cable stress.
CABLE CARE
Use care when storing your microphone;
coil the cable so that it rests flat.
DO NOT wrap the cable around the
body pack or coil the cable in any way
that creates serious bends or strain on
the cable.
