Introduction to Texjet Plus
Congratulation on your purchase of the Texjet Plus, which we developed especially for the use of
garment printing
The Texjet Plus is an inkjet printer that has been made to print to many type of garment or fabric material
as cottons, polyester, wool, leather etc. The Texjet Plus uses water based pigment inks, which work with
the most types of garment.
Texjet Plus uses up to 8 colors/9 cartridge system (2xCMYK, CMYK+4xWhite or other combinations)
The system is based on a standard inkjet technology (the Epson 3880 printer is the heart of the system).
The printer has been modified to work with the Texjet RIP software which is included with your Texjet
Plus.
Texjet RIP is used to print the white under base (under the colors). You can create the images in your
favorite program Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or Corel Draw and then simply import them into
Texjet RIP to print to shirts.
Texjet Plus prints on 100% cotton with the best results. It will print also on 50% cotton/50% polyester
blends, and many other natural and synthetic materials.

The maintenance tank must be reset before the ink level drops below 20%. It is
recommended to reset the tank after the ink level drops below 50%.
Maintenance tank chip resetting procedure
After resetting it, always empty the maintenance tank from the remaining ink
inside.
In order to reset the maintenance tank, the printer must be in “Diagnostic mode”. You cannot
reset the tank in normal mode. The procedure is as follows:
-Step 1: Turn off the printer and remove the maintenance tank. Turn the printer on again in
diagnostic mode by pressing and holding the F1 button before pressing Power On. The printer
must start in diagnostic mode with the maintenance tank removed. Since the maintenance tank is
not inside, after initialization you should see the message “INSTALL MAINTENANCE
CARTRIDGE” on the top display.
-Step 2: Empty the remaining ink and reset the chip using the chip Resetter. All the pins of
the Resetter should make contact with the tank’s chip. At first contact, the LED light should
blink red. Wait until the LED light turns green (green means the tank is reset).
-Step 3: Insert the maintenance tank in the printer and press the “Eject” button once. If the
procedure is done properly, you should see a completely full maintenance cartridge.
-Step 4: In order to proceed with the normal printing procedure, turn the printer off and
restart it in normal mode.
*If instead of “ready” message, the “NON-GENUINE” message appears at the panel display,
then follow the panel instructions. For more details refer to Panel instruction for “NON-
GENUINE” message bellow.

How to fill and refill the cartridges
Do not refill the cartridges while they are inserted into the printer. First
remove them from the printer and then proceed to the refilling procedure.
1. Use the 20ml syringe provided with the printer (the user can always use a syringe with a
different capacity as long as it has the same neck diameter that fits in the cartridge’s supply
hole). Remove the rubber seal from the cartridge’s supply hole:
80ml cartridges:
2. Place the cartridge so that the supply hole is facing up. This is done to avoid ink spilling
from the cartridge. Insert the syringe containing the ink and repeat to the point where the ink
has filled up about 90% of the cartridge:

3. After completion of the refilling procedure, put the rubber seal back to its place and make
sure that it is fully inserted.
4. Lastly, before inserting the cartridge into the printer’s respective slot, make sure that you
have removed completely the air supply rubber seal:
