1 DESCRIPTION
1.1 PURPOSE
The machine is used to
• drive long deck screws when you assemble a deck
• drive carriage bolts into deck posts
• drive screws into block walls and concrete
• drive screws into metal studs

2 GENERAL SAFETY
WARNINGS

Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your mains-
operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless)
power tool.
3 INSTALLATION
3.1 UNPACK THE MACHINE
WARNING
Make sure that you correctly assemble the machine before
use.
WARNING
• If parts of the machine are damaged, do not use the
machine.
• If parts are missing, do not operate the machine.
• If parts are damaged or missing, contact the service
center.
1. Open the package.
2. Read the documentation provided in the box.
3. Remove all the unassembled parts from the box.
4. Remove the machine from the box.
5. Discard the box and packing material in compliance with
local regulations.
WARNING
For your personal safety, do not insert battery before the
tool is assembled completely.
3.2 INSTALL THE BATTERY PACK

WARNING
• If the battery pack or charger is damaged, replace the
battery pack or the charger.
• Stop the machine and wait until the motor stops before
you install or remove the battery pack.
• Read, know, and do the instructions in the battery and
charger manual.
1. Align the lift ribs on the battery pack with the grooves in
the battery compartment.
2. Push the battery pack into the battery compartment until
the battery pack locks into place.
3. When you hear a click, the battery pack is installed.
3.3 REMOVE THE BATTERY PACK

1. Push and hold the battery release button.
2. Remove the battery pack from the machine.
3.4 INSTALL THE BIT

1. Push reversing button in the center position to lock the
switch trigger.
2. Move the coupler forward and hold in position.
3. Put bit straight into coupler.
4. Release the couple.
NOTE
Use only impact quality bits with a locking groove.
WARNING
Make sure that you attach the bit tight in the coupler before
you use the machine.
3.5 REMOVE THE BIT

1. Push reversing button in the center position to lock the
switch trigger.
2. Move the coupler forward and hold in position.
3. Pull the bit straight out of the coupler.

4 OPERATION
WARNING
Always wear eye protection.
WARNING
Do not use any attachments or accessories not
recommended by the manufacturer of this product.
4.1 START THE MACHINE

NOTE
The machine can not work until the reversing button is
pushed fully to the left or right. Do not operate the machine
at low speeds for extended periods of time.
1. Push reversing button to the left.
2. Push the switch trigger to turn the machine ON (I).
4.2 STOP THE MACHINE

1. Release the switch trigger to turn the machine OFF (O).
WARNING
Release the switch trigger and let the coupler to come to a
complete stop.
4.3 ADJUST THE TURNING
DIRECTION

The machine has the reversing button (forward/reverse lock)
above the switch trigger to chang the direction of the bit.
1. When the reversing button is on the left side of the switch
trigger, the bit direciton is forward.
2. When the reversing button is on the right side of the
switch trigger, the bit direction is reversible.
3. Put the direction button in the OFF (center lock) position
to help decrease the possibility of accidental start when
not operate.
WARNING
Let the coupler to come to a complete stop before changing
the direction of rotation.
4.4 LED LIGHT

The LED light illuminates when the trigger is depressed.
It provides extra light for increased visibility.
5 MAINTENANCE
CAUTION
Do not let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based materials
touch the plastic parts. Chemicals can cause damage to the
plastic, and make the plastic unserviceable.
CAUTION
Do not use strong solvents or detergents on the plastic
housing or components.
WARNING
Remove the battery pack from the machine before
maintenance.
5.1 CLEAN THE MACHINE
CAUTION
The machine must be dry. Humidity can cause risks of
electrical shocks.
• Clear the unwanted material out of the air vent with a
vacuum cleaner.
• Do not spray the air vent or put the air vent in solvents.
• Clean the housing and the plastic components with a
moist and soft cloth.

7 WARRANTY

The Powerworks warranty is 3 years on the product, and 2
years on batteries (consumer/private usage) from the date of
purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing faults. A faulty
product under warranty might be either repaired or replaced.
A unit that has been misused or used in other ways then
described in the owner’s manual might be rejected for
warranty. Normal wear, and wear parts are not considered as
warranty. The original manufacturer warranty is not affected
by any additional warranty offered by a dealer or retailer.
A faulty product must be returned to the point of purchase in
order to claim for warranty, together with the proof of
purchase (receipt).

1 BESCHREIBUNG
1.1 VERWENDUNGSZWECK
Die Maschine wird eingesetzt, um
• lange Holzschrauben in Holzplatten einzudrehen
• Schlossschrauben in Pfosten einzutreiben
• Schrauben in Mauerwerk und Beton einzudrehen
• Schrauben in Metallprofile einzudrehen

2 ALLGEMEINE
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
WARNUNG
Lesen Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise, Anweisungen,
Abbildungen und Spezifikationen, die mit diesem Gerät
geliefert werden. Die Nichtbeachtung der unten
aufgeführten Anweisungen kann zu Stromschlag, Feuer und/

3 MONTAGE
3.1 MASCHINE AUSPACKEN
WARNUNG
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie die Maschine vor dem
Gebrauch richtig montiert haben.
WARNUNG
• Bei beschädigten Maschinenteilen dürfen Sie die
Maschine nicht verwenden.
• Bei fehlenden Teilen dürfen Sie die Maschine nicht
verwenden.
• Wenn Teile beschädigt sind oder fehlen, wenden Sie
sich an die Servicestelle.
1. Öffnen Sie die Verpackung.
2. Lesen Sie die beiliegende Dokumentation.
3. Entnehmen Sie alle unmontierten Teile aus dem Karton.
4. Nehmen Sie die Maschine aus dem Karton.
5. Entsorgen Sie den Karton und das Verpackungsmaterial
gemäß den örtlichen Vorschriften.
WARNUNG
Zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit dürfen Sie den Akkupack nicht
einsetzen, bevor das Werkzeug vollständig
zusammengebaut ist.
3.2 AKKUPACK EINSETZEN

WARNUNG
• Wenn der Akkupack oder das Ladegerät beschädigt ist,
ersetzen Sie den Akkupack oder das Ladegerät.
• Stoppen Sie die Maschine und warten Sie, bis der
Motor stoppt, bevor Sie den Akkupack einsetzen oder
entnehmen.
• Lesen, kennen und befolgen Sie die Anweisungen im
Handbuch für Akku und Ladegerät.
1. Richten Sie die Hubrippen am Akkupack mit den Nuten
im Akkufach aus.
2. Schieben Sie den Akkupack in das Akkufach, bis er
einrastet.
3. Wenn Sie ein Klicken hören, ist der Akkupack eingesetzt.
3.3 AKKUPACK ENTFERNEN

1. Drücken und halten Sie die Akkupack-Entriegelungstaste.
2. Nehmen Sie den Akkupack aus der Maschine.
3.4 EINSETZEN DES BOHRERS

1. Stellen Sie die Umschalttaste auf die Mittelstellung, um
den Schaltauslöser zu verriegeln.
2. Bewegen Sie die Kupplung nach vorne und halten Sie sie
in Position.
3. Setzen Sie den Bohrer gerade in die Kupplung ein.
4. Lassen Sie die Kupplung los.
HINWEIS
Verwenden Sie nur für Schlagschrauber geeignete Bohrer
mit einer Arretierungsnut.
WARNUNG
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie den Bohrer fest in der Kupplung
befestigen, bevor Sie die Maschine in Betrieb nehmen.
3.5 ENTFERNEN DES BOHRERS

1. Stellen Sie die Umschalttaste auf die Mittelstellung, um
den Schaltauslöser zu verriegeln.
2. Bewegen Sie die Kupplung nach vorne und halten Sie sie
in Position.
3. Ziehen Sie den Bohrer gerade aus der Kupplung heraus.
4 BEDIENUNG
WARNUNG
Tragen Sie immer einen Augenschutz.
WARNUNG
Verwenden Sie keine Aufsätze oder Zubehörteile, die nicht
vom Hersteller dieses Produkts empfohlen werden.
4.1 MASCHINE STARTEN

HINWEIS
Die Maschine arbeitet erst, wenn die Umschalttaste ganz
nach links oder rechts gedrückt wird. Betreiben Sie die
Maschine nicht über einen längeren Zeitraum bei niedrigen
Drehzahlen.
1. Linkslaufschalter nach links schieben.
2. Drücken Sie den Schaltauslöser, um die Maschine
einzuschalten (I).
4.2 MASCHINE ANHALTEN

1. Lassen Sie den Auslöser los, um die Maschine
auszuschalten (O)
WARNUNG
Lassen Sie den Schaltauslöser los und lassen Sie die
Kupplung vollständig zum Stillstand kommen.
4.3 EINSTELLEN DER
DREHRICHTUNG

Die Umschalttaste (Vorwärts-/Rückwärtssperre) befindet sich
oberhalb des Schaltauslösers, um die Drehrichtung des
Bohrers zu ändern.
1. Wenn sich die Umschalttaste auf der linken Seite des
Schaltauslösers befindet, so ist die Drehrichtung des
Bohrers vorwärts.
2. Wenn sich die Umschalttaste auf der rechten Seite des
Schaltauslösers befindet, so ist die Drehrichtung des
Bohrers rückwärts.
3. Setzen Sie die Richtungstaste in die Position AUS
(mittlere Verriegelung), um die Möglichkeit eines
unbeabsichtigten Starts bei Nichtgebrauch zu verringern.
WARNUNG
Lassen Sie die Kupplung vollständig zum Stillstand
kommen, bevor Sie die Drehrichtung ändern.
4.4 LED-LEUCHTE

Die LED-Leuchte leuchtet, wenn der Auslöser gedrückt wird.
Sie bietet zusätzliches Licht für eine bessere Sicht.
5 WARTUNG UND
INSTANDHALTUNG
VORSICHT
Lassen Sie Bremsflüssigkeiten, Benzin und
mineralölbasierte Materialien nicht mit den Kunststoffteilen
in Berührung kommen. Chemikalien können den Kunststoff
beschädigen und ihn unbrauchbar machen.
VORSICHT
Verwenden Sie keine starken Lösungsmittel oder
Reinigungsmittel auf dem Kunststoffgehäuse oder den
Bauteilen.
WARNUNG
Nehmen Sie den Akkupack vor der Wartung aus der
Maschine.
5.1 MASCHINE REINIGEN
VORSICHT
Die Maschine muss trocken sein. Feuchtigkeit kann zu
einem Stromschlagrisiko führen.
• Entfernen Sie unerwünschtes Material mit einem
Staubsauger aus der Belüftung.
• Sprühen Sie nicht in die Belüftung und legen Sie die
Belüftung nicht in Lösungsmittel.
• Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse und die Kunststoffteile mit
einem feuchten und weichen Tuch.

3 INSTALACIÓN

La máquina tiene el botón de inversión (bloqueo de avance/
retroceso) encima del gatillo interruptor para cambiar la
dirección de la punta.
1. Cuando el botón de inversión está en el lado izquierdo del
gatillo interruptor, la dirección de la punta es hacia
delante.
2. Cuando el botón de inversión está en el lado derecho del
gatillo interruptor, la dirección de la broca es reversible.
3. Sitúe el botón de dirección en la posición de APAGADO
(bloqueo central) para ayudar a disminuir la posibilidad
de una puesta en marcha accidental cuando no esté en
funcionamiento.

5 MANTENIMIENTO

No permita que líquidos de frenos, gasolina y otros
derivados del petróleo toquen las piezas de plástico. Las
sustancias químicas pueden dañar el plástico y hacer que
quede inservible.

No utilice disolventes o detergentes fuertes en la carcasa o
los componentes de plástico.

5.1 LIMPIEZA DE LA MÁQUINA

La máquina debe estar seca. La humedad supone un riesgo

aspirador.

disolventes.

3 INSTALLAZIONE
3.1 DISIMBALLAGGIO
DELL'ATTREZZO

Assicurarsi di assemblare correttamente l'attrezzo prima
dell'uso.

• Se una parte della macchina è danneggiata, non usare
l'attrezzo.
• Se uno o più componenti sono mancanti, non usare

1. Aprire l'imballaggio.

3.2 INSTALLAZIONE DEL GRUPPO

• Se il gruppo batteria o il caricabatteria sono
danneggiati, sostituirli.
• Arrestare l'apparecchio e attendere che il motore si
arresti prima di installare o rimuovere il gruppo batteria.
• Leggere, comprendere e rispettare le istruzioni riportate
nel manuale della batteria e del caricabatteria.
1. Allineare le sporgenze sul gruppo batteria con le
scanalature sul vano batteria.
2. Fare scorrere la batteria nel vano batteria finché non si
blocca in posizione.
3. Deve emettere un "clic".
3.3 RIMOZIONE DEL GRUPPO

1. Tenere premuto il pulsante di rilascio della batteria.
2. Rimuovere il gruppo batteria dall'apparecchio.

2. Spostare l'attacco in avanti e mantenerlo in posizione.
3. Inserire la punta nell'attacco in linea retta.

Usare esclusivamente punte di alta qualità con scanalatura
di bloccaggio.

Assicurarsi che la punta sia fissata saldamente nell'attacco
prima di usare l'apparecchio.

4.3 DIREZIONE DI ROTAZIONE

Sopra l'interruttore a leva è presente un selettore della
direzione (avanti/indietro) che modifica la direzione di
rotazione della punta.
1. Quando il selettore della direzione è sul lato sinistro
dell'interruttore a leva, la punta avanzerà.
2. Quando il selettore della direzione è sul lato destro
dell'interruttore a leva, la punta retrocederà.
3. Portare il selettore della direzione in posizione centrale
(bloccaggio) per ridurre il rischio di avvio accidentale
quando l'apparecchio non è in uso.
AVVERTIMENTO
Attendere che l'attacco si arresti completamente prima di
modificare la direzione di rotazione.
4.4 FANALE LED

La luce LED si illumina quando viene premuto il grilletto.
Questa luce offre un’illuminazione ulteriore per migliorare la
visibilità.
5 MANUTENZIONE
AVVERTENZA
Evitare che le parti in plastica entrino a contatto con olio dei
freni, benzina e materiali a base di petrolio. Gli agenti
chimici possono danneggiare la plastica e renderla
inservibile.
AVVERTENZA
Non usare detergenti o solventi aggressivi sulle parti in
plastica.
AVVERTIMENTO
Rimuovere il gruppo batteria dall'apparecchio prima di
sottoporlo a manutenzione.
5.1 PULIZIA DELL'APPARECCHIO
AVVERTENZA
L'apparecchio deve essere asciutto. L'umidità comporta il
rischio di scossa elettrica.
• Rimuovere il materiale estraneo dalle aperture di
ventilazione con un aspirapolvere.
• Non spruzzare aria sulle aperture di ventilazione e non
pulirle con solventi.
• Pulire le superfici esterne e i componenti in plastica con
un panno morbido e umido.

3 INSTALLATION
3.1 DÉBALLAGE DE LA MACHINE
AVERTISSEMENT
Assurez-vous d'assembler correctement la machine avant
son usage.
AVERTISSEMENT
• Si des pièces de la machine sont endommagées,
n'utilisez pas la machine.
• Si des pièces sont manquantes, n'utilisez pas la
machine.
• Si des pièces sont endommagées ou manquantes,
contactez le centre d'entretien.
1. Ouvrez l'emballage.
2. Lisez la documentation fournie dans la boîte.
3. Retirez toutes les pièces non-assemblées de la boîte.
4. Retirez la machine de la boîte.
5. Mettez la boîte et le matériau d'emballage au rebut dans le
respect de la réglementation locale.
AVERTISSEMENT
Pour votre sécurité personnelle, n'insérez pas la batterie
avant que l'outil ne soit assemblé complètement.
3.2 INSTALLATION DE PACK-
BATTERIE

AVERTISSEMENT
• Si le pack-batterie ou le chargeur est endommagé,
remplacez-le.
• Arrêtez la machine et attendez que le moteur s'arrête
avant d'installer ou de retirer le pack-batterie.
• Lisez, apprenez et appliquez les instructions du manuel
de batterie et de chargeur.
1. Alignez les ailettes de levage sur le pack-batterie avec les
rainures dans le compartiment de batterie.
2. Poussez le pack-batterie dans le compartiment de batterie
jusqu'à le verrouiller en place.
3. Au clic audible, le pack-batterie est installé.
3.3 RETRAIT DE LA BATTERIE

1. Appuyez sur le bouton de libération de la batterie sans le
relâcher.
2. Retirez la batterie de la machine.
3.4 INSTALLATION DE FORET

1. Positionnez le bouton d'inversion au centre pour
verrouiller la gâchette de commutation.
2. Avancez le coupleur et maintenez la position.
3. Placez le foret droit dans le coupleur.
4. Relâchez le couple.
REMARQUE
Utilisez uniquement des mèches à percussion avec une
rainure de verrouillage.
AVERTISSEMENT
Assurez-vous de fixer fermement la mèche dans le coupleur
avant d'utiliser la machine.
