PRODUCT SPECIFICATION
LIMITED WARRANTY
This product is warranted to be free from defects in
material and/or workmanship for a period of two (2)
ears from the date of original installation, not to
exceed 30 months from the date of shipment from
our factor with the exception of the cutting
wire. Cutting wire is warranted to be free from
defects at time of deliver onl .
An component which proves to be fault in material
and/or workmanship will be replaced or repaired (at
the option of Prince Castle, Inc.) without cost to the
customer for parts or labor.
This warrant is subject to the following exceptions/
conditions:
lUse of products other than cheese will void this
warrant .
lThis equipment is portable; charges for on-loca-
tion service (e.g., trip charges, mileage) are not
included in the provisions of this warrant .
lDamage caused b carelessness, neglect, and/
or abuse (e.g., dropping, tampering or altering
parts), equipment damaged in shipment, b fire,
flood or an act of God is not covered under this
warrant .
Prince Castle's Fasline cubers are versatile cheese cutting
machines. The are the ideal tool for restaurants, catering,
part tra s, salad bars, school menus and snacks. Simple
to operate, cheese cubers produce perfect cubes or sticks
without waste. A terrific time and mone saver in an
kitchen, model 896 can cut sticks into one ounce cheese
portions that meet federal school lunch requirements.
Model 896 ields approximatel 324 cubes, 9/16" (14.2 mm)
in size, per half 5 lb. loaf.

INSTALLATION
1. After ou remove the Cheese Witch® from the
carton, inspect the unit for signs of damage. If
there is damage to the unit:
lNotif carrier within 24 hours after deliver .
lSave carton and packing materials for inspection
purposes.
lContact the Prince Castle Customer Service
department at 1-800-722-7853 to arrange for
a replacement.
OPERATION
IMPORTANT: Make sure cutting wire is tight, a loose
wire will break during use.
1. Remove all wrappings from cheese.
2. With Cheese Witchâ (P.C. Model 899) or a single
wire cheese knife cut a 5 lb. loaf of cheese in half
so it will fit on the plastic platform.
3. Lift both handles to upright position.
4. Place cheese on plastic platform.
5. Push handle with least amount of cutting wires through
cheese. This step creates four (4) slabs of cheese.

PARTS IDENTIFICATION
6. Remove cheese from plastic platform, then lift handle
to upright position.
7. Rotate cheese 1/4 turn and replace on plastic plat-
form. Push handle with least amount of cutting wires
through cheese. This step creates sticks of cheese.
See figure 2.
8. For cubing cheese push handle wit greater amount of
cutting wires through cheese. This step creates
cheese cubes. See figure 3.
9. Clean cheese cuber after each use. Be sure wires are
free of cheese. Machine ma be taken apart for eas
cleaning.
CAUTION: Prior to use verif slots in wire retain-
ers are facing the rivet side of handle.
