PressdowntheONswitchI.Folddownthelid.Forswitchingofftheengine,Pressdown
theOFFswitch.
HintsforUsing
1. Beforesiftingthesoilwiththerotarysieve,makesurethesoilislightlywet.Dust‐dryor
verymoistsoilisnotsuitabletobesifted.Breakdownveryclumpysoilpriortothrow
intothedrum.
2. Pleasenoteifthedrumistiltedtoomuch,toomuchsoilwillbethrownout.Inthiscase
makesuretherotarysievestandsasevenlyaspossibleandthedrumislyinghorizontally.
Ifdesired,collectthealreadysiftedsoilandthrowitintothedrumagaininordertosift
itthoroughly.
3. Whensiftinglargeamountsofsoilitisrecommendedtoplaceawheelbarrowunderthe
drogueinsteadofthecollectionbag.Youcanalsousethegardendumpcart,orthe
universalwheelbarrow.Placeitunderthebracketforthecollectionbaginorderto
collectthesortedoutrockysoil,stones,woodencomponentsetc.andtooverturnatthe
desiredplace.
4. Whenthrowingthesoilintothedrum,makesuretothrowintotheoutsidepartofthe
drum.Bydoingthis,thesoilwillstayaslongaspossibleinthedrumandcanbesifted

thoroughly.Makesuretheshovelcannotgetintothedrumandbecomejammed.There
isriskofinjury.
Maintenance
1. Alwayschecktheconditionoftherotarysievefirsteachtimebeforeusing.Checkthe
safetydevices,switchesandmainscable.Checkforlooseboltsandscrews,poor
alignment,contactingmovingparts,brokenpartsandanyotherfactorsthatcouldaffect
safeoperation.
2. Donotcontinuetousethemachineifthereareanysignsofdamage.Inthiscase,haveit
repairedbyaqualifiedtechnicianorcontactthePrincessAutoServiceDepartment.
ReplacingtheDriveBelt
1. Unscrewthethreescrewsonthecoverandremovehousing.
2. Loosenthenutattherearsideofthehousingbyusingasuitableopenwrenchand
replacethedrivebeltwithanewoneofthesametype.Asparepartcanbeordered
fromPrincessAuto
3. Lubricatethegearwheelswithcleanmachinegrease.
4. Reattachthedrivebeltcoveronthehousingpriortousetherotarysieveagain.

1. Pullthepowerplugbeforecleaningormaintainingtherotarysieve.
2. Cleantherotarysievewithahandbroom.Forcleaningthemotorhousinguseadry
cloth.
3. Keeptherotarysievedryandfreefromstubborndirt.Storetherotarysieveinadryand
frost‐freelocation.
4. Transporttherotarysieveasshowninthepicture.
