INTRODUCTION
The Vida Sana™Deluxe 7-Qt. Stand Mixer features a heavy-duty MAX 650-watt motor with
8 variable speeds. A 7-Qt. capacity stainless steel Mixing Bowl allows for preparing large batches
of dough, batter, or whipped cream. Includes 3 attachments – Wire Whip, enamel-coated Flat
Beater, and Dough Hook – to perform a variety of mixing tasks in a completely hands-free
operation. A tilt-head feature provides quick access to change attachments and scrape down the
bowl, while the Splash Guard prevents spatter and makes adding ingredients easier.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using your Vida Sana™Deluxe 7-Qt. Stand Mixer, basic safety precautions must be taken
including the following:
• SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
• READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS STAND MIXER
• FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
• Use only with a 120V AC power outlet. Note that this Stand Mixer has a polarized plug. One
prong is wider than the other. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit into a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
• Keep this Stand Mixer and cord out of reach of children.
• The Stand Mixer is not intended for use by people, including children, with reduced physical,
sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless a person
responsible for their safety provides close supervision or instructions concerning use of
the appliance.
• Remove any packaging materials or stickers/labels before using for the first time.
• Do not operate Stand Mixer with a damaged cord or plug, or after it malfunctions or is
dropped or damaged in any manner.
• Do not use if any parts are cracked or broken.
• Do not operate if the cord is frayed or wires are exposed. Regularly inspect the power cord
and actual Stand Mixer for any damage. Do not operate if damaged in any way or after the
Stand Mixer malfunctions.
2

3
• Do not let cord hang over the edge of the table or countertop or contact hot surfaces,
including stovetop.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use, before installing or removing attachments, and before
cleaning. To unplug, grasp plug and pull from electrical outlet.
• Do not plug the Stand Mixer into the power supply until it is fully assembled.
• Never move the unit by pulling on the power cord. To protect against the risk of electrical
shock, do not immerse the Stand Mixer, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
• Avoid contact with moving parts. Never try to remove attachments while the Stand Mixer
is in use.
• Keep hands and utensils out of the bowl during operation to prevent the possibility of
injury or damage to the unit. A scraper may be used, but only when the Stand Mixer is
NOT running.
• Place Stand Mixer securely on a flat, level surface before operating. Suction cups on the
base will secure the appliance.
• Do not connect the Stand Mixer to the outlet with more than one extension cord and
do not connect other appliances to the extension cord when in use with this unit. When
using a long detachable power supply or extension cord, be sure that the extension cord
is compatible with the polarized plug and the marked electrical rating of the cord or
extension cord is at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
• The Stand Mixer is not recommended for outdoor use.
• Do not operate your Stand Mixer in areas with unfinished walls and exposed electrical
cords. Doing so could create the risk of fire.
• Only use the parts and components packaged with your Vida Sana™Deluxe 7-Qt. Stand
Mixer. Do not use any accessories or containers not recommended by Princess House as
doing so may result in damage to the unit or personal injury.
IMPORTANT: Motor will automatically shut off if left running continuously for
more than 20 minutes at speeds 1 through 4, and after 15 minutes at speeds
5 through 8. The blue light will start blinking 30 seconds before the Stand Mixer
shuts down. This is a safety precaution to protect the motor. After it shuts down,
the blue light will return to the "0" position on the Speed Control Dial. Wait
5 minutes to let the motor cool down before turning on again.
BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove all packing material and stickers from Stand Mixer, Mixing Bowl, and Attachments.
• Thoroughly clean the Attachments and Bowl with warm, soapy water using a non-abrasive
sponge and dry completely. Bowl is dishwasher safe. Attachments are top rack dishwasher
safe.
• Read all instructions carefully BEFORE using the Stand Mixer.

The Vida Sana™ Deluxe 7-Qt. Stand Mixer features suction cups on the base to secure the
appliance. Always make sure it is placed on a flat, level surface. Do not plug in until ready to use.
• Attach Mixing Bowl by placing onto the base and firmly turning to the right until secured
into place.
• Attach the Splash Guard if desired. To attach Splash Guard, place underneath Mixer Head
and push upward until the 3 silicone grips secure the Splash Guard into place with the chute
facing outward. The Guard will rest on top of the Mixing Bowl.

IMPORTANT: Check to ensure
Bowl is tightly secured to the
base for proper function.
Note: The Guard is not required for proper function; Mixer can be used without it.

• Select the desired attachment and connect it by aligning the notch on the attachment
with the metal pin on the Beater Shaft. Push firmly upward and turn the attachment (right)
to secure the pin into place. The spring will be tightly coiled when the pin is locked into
position. All 3 attachments – Flat Beater, Dough Hook and Wire Whip – connect to the
pin the SAME way.
• Once attachment is secured, push the Lifting Lever to the left while pushing down on the
Mixer Head to release the lock mechanism and secure into place.
SELECTING MIXER SPEED FOR FUNCTION
• Plug in the Stand Mixer; a blinking blue light will appear on the Speed Control Dial in the
“0” location. The Stand Mixer is now ready to use.
• Turn Dial to the right to increase speed based on the desired function. Refer to chart as
a guide to determine which speed to select.
• Increase or decrease speed by turning the Dial right or left, one speed at a time.
• IMPORTANT: The Dial can be rotated a full 360 degrees; however the motor and speed
will not exceed “8.”
• Mixing can be stopped at speeds 1 through 8 by pressing in the Dial. This is helpful when
scraping down the Bowl or adding ingredients. Press the Dial again to restart the mixing
function. The mixing function also automatically stops when the Dial is turned to "0".
• Attachments are designed to provide thorough mixing, however occasional scraping of the
bowl can be expected to fully incorporate dry ingredients. This is normal when using a
Stand Mixer. Press the Dial to stop the motor before scraping.

PIN
PIN
Note: The Mixer Head cannot be pushed downward without pushing
the Lifting Lever at the same time.
As a safety measure, the Stand Mixer will NOT turn on until the Mixer Head
is in the locked position.
LEVER
PIN

• WARNING: TO AVOID INJURY, NEVER
insert utensils or hands to scrape Bowl
while Stand Mixer is operating.
• Dry or wet ingredients can be added during
mixing. The Splash Guard makes it easy to
add the ingredients simply by pouring them
into the chute.
• When mixing heavy dough or thick batter, the
top of the Mixer Head will lift and separate
from the base slightly. The Stand Mixer is
designed to work this way to relieve pressure
and prevent excessive vibration.
• IMPORTANT: For best results when making dough, we recommend not using more
than 16 cups of flour per batch.

MIXING GUIDE
• For all cakes, mixing time may vary because the Stand Mixer typically works more quickly
than other mixers. To help determine the ideal mixing time, refer to the recipe for the
appearance of the batter.
• Always add ingredients as close as possible to the side of the Mixing Bowl, or use the chute
on the Splash Guard.
• When preparing packaged cake mixes, begin using Speed 1 to blend ingredients. Then turn
to “2-3” for low speed, “3-4” for medium speed, and “5-6” for high speed. Follow package
directions.
• When adding nuts, dried fruit, or chocolate chips, follow recipe guidelines. In general, these
ingredients should be folded in during the last few seconds of mixing on a lower speed.
• When adding liquids, start at Speed “1” to minimize splashing, and gradually increase speed
as mixture becomes blended and thicker.
EGG WHITES
• Place egg whites in clean, dry bowl. Attach Splash Guard (if using), Bowl, and Wire Whip
securely. Start at speed “1” and gradually turn to speed “7 or 8” and whip to desired stage.
WHIPPING STAGES
Frothy – Large, uneven air bubbles
Begins to hold shape – Air bubbles are fine; product is white
Soft peak – Tips of peaks fall over when Whip is removed
Almost stiff – Sharp peaks form when Whip is removed, but whites are actually soft
Stiff but not dry – Sharp, stiff peaks form when Whip is removed. Whites are uniform in
color and glisten
Stiff and dry – Sharp, stiff peaks form when Whip is removed. Whites are speckled and
dull in appearance
WHIPPED CREAM
• Pour cold whipping cream into Bowl. Attach Splash Guard (if using), Bowl, and Wire Whip
securely. Start at speed “1” and turn to speed “7 or 8” and whip to desired stage.
WHIPPING STAGES
Begins to thicken – Cream is thick and custard-like
Holds its shape – Cream forms soft peaks when Whip is removed. Can be folded into
other ingredients when making desserts or sauces
Stiff – Cream stands in stiff, sharp peaks when Whip is removed. Use for topping on
desserts or cakes or for fillings
