IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

When using electrical appliances basic safety precautions should always be followed.
• To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this product to rain or moisture, for
indoor use only.
• Only use the PSU supplied or one of identical specification.
• Beware of static electricity which may damage the device. Use ESD precautions
when installing.

INSTALLATION
• Works with all major brands of Audio/Video IR remote controls.
• Compatible with Alexa, Google and Logitech smart devices.
• CFL lighting friendly allows installation in most lighting environments.
• 3.5mm Jack sockets for receiver and emitters.
• Powered by 12V, 1A PSU (supplied).
• Acts as an IR repeater and also a bi-directional IR extender in multi room
environments.
• Excellent RF interference and noise suppression.
• This system works in the following combinations:
One transmitter to one receiver.
One transmitter to multi receiver.
Multi-transmitter to one receiver.
Multi-transmitter to multi-receiver.
OVERVIEW
• Connect the IR receiver to the receiver socket and ensure it is in line of sight to the
remote control.
• If required connect the IR emitter pair to the emitter socket and using the self
adhesive strips on the base of the emitter, after testing the location, attach in line of
sight to the local destination device IR receivers.
• Connect the PSU 12VDC jack to the power input socket and turn on the power and
the LED will illuminate.
• Repeat for the second or additional units in either local, remote or both locations.
• On the rear of each unit is a rotary switch which is used to ‘pair’ multiple units.
• Set this switch to the identical position for all devices that you require to be in the
same grouping.

APPLICATIONS
NOTE: more reliable IR transmission can be achieved by slightly increasing the distance
between IR emitter and the equipment. 5-10cm can achieve better results so experiment
before attaching the emitters permanently.
• The working distance between the IR receiver and the remote control is governed
by the remote control being used and the battery state so if the range is poor check
and replace the remote control batteries.
• The range of transmission between devices is dependent on the environment
they are operating in. Walls, steelwork, equipment cabinets etc can all reduce the
distance as do other conflicting wireless signals and devices.
• The devices are bi-directional so the remote control in the display location can
control both source devices locally and also in a remote location and the remote
control in the remote location can also control the output display as well as local
source devices and remote source devices.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
• Clean the outside casing with a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild detergent.
• Never use any abrasive or solvents.
