Your safety is important to us.
WARNING: This comb is not a toy. Keep out of reach of
children at all times. This comb reaches high temperatures
and should only be placed on heat-resistant,
color-proof surfaces while hot and in use.
Unplug when not in use.
When using electrical appliances, especially in the presence
of children, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
A. Read All Instructions Before Using
B. Keep Away From Water
DANGER: This comb is electrically live even when the
switch is off. To reduce the risk of death by electric shock:
A. Always unplug comb immediately after using.
B. Do not use while bathing or in the shower.
C. Do not place or store comb where it can fall or be
pulled into a tub or sink.
D. Do not place in, or drop into, water or other liquids.
E. If comb falls into water, unplug it immediately.
Do not reach into the water.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution,
re, or injury to persons:
A. Do not leave unattended when plugged in.
B. Do not use by, on or near children or individuals with
certain disabilities.
C. Only use for its intended use, as described in this
manual. Never use attachments not recommended
by the manufacturer.
D. Never operate this comb if it has a damaged cord or
plug, if it is not working properly or if it has been
dropped or damaged or dropped into water.
E. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not pull, twist, or wrap line cord around comb.

1. Once connected to a power source, press and hold
the power button for approximately 2 seconds to
activate the LCD display.
2. Set the desired or recommended (refer to table
below) temperature by quickly pressing the
power button which cycles through 3 settings.

F. Never use while sleeping or drowsy.
G. Unit is hot when in use. Do not touch the heated
surfaces or let them touch eyes or skin.
H. Do not place the heated unit directly on any
surface while it is hot or plugged in.
I. To avoid tangling, never roll the hair around the hot
comb more than two times.
J. Do not use an extension cord with this comb.
K. Do not operate with a voltage converter.
Warning & Safety Information Usage Tips
A. Only use the comb on dry, brushed, and
untangled hair.
B. Divide hair into sections, starting with the bottom
layer, using clips to keep hair separated.
C. Use the included heat-resistant glove for safe
handling while using the comb.
D. Test the comb on a small section of hair and
adjust the temperature accordingly.
E. Using a 2-3 inch section of hair, starting close to the
roots with the bristles up, begin combing SLOWLY
towards the ends, ensuring the hair is in constant
contact with the heated base.
F. For better results, repeat the above steps on same
section with the bristles facing down.

Maintenance
Cleaning & Storage
A. Keep the comb body and teeth clean and free of any
residue between use (e.g. dirt, oils, cleaners, hair
products, etc.)
B. Gently wipe using a soft cloth.
C. NEVER clean with soaps, abrasives, or water.
D. Always store comb by wrapping item in the included
thermal mat and insert into the travel bag
3. Allow approximately 30-90 seconds for the comb
to reach the desired temperature.
4. Place the comb on the included thermal mat while
heating and before/during use, when needed.
5. Once nished, the comb can be manually shut-off by
pressing and holding the power button for
approximately 2 seconds.
Note: The comb is equipped with an auto shut-off
safety feature that will automatically turn the
comb off after 60 minutes.
Our Warranty
Profashion warrants The Legend against any defects due
to faulty material or workmanship for a three-year period
beginning on the original date of purchase.
If the product should become defective within the warranty
period, we will replace it free of charge.
The warranty does not cover the following:
A. Products that Profashion determine, in its sole
discretion, to be free of any material or workmanship
defects or aws
B. Products evidencing excessive wear, misuse, customiza
tion or alteration
C. Improper care or storage (e.g., water damage,
exposure to extreme heat or cold temperatures)
D. Alterations or customization
E. Products that were purchased second hand or
from unauthorized dealers or retailers
F. Products outside of the covered warranty period
G. Unauthorized servicing
H. Connection to incorrect current or voltage

Our Warranty
To ensure effective warranty coverage:
I. Products MUST be registered on our website
NO LATER THAN 90 DAYS from purchase to
validate your warranty.
J. You MUST provide a copy of the original sales
receipt as proof of purchase
K. You MUST inform Profashion of any potential warranty
issues by contacting customer care as soon as the
issue is discovered. Customer care will then:
o Determine warranty eligibility
o Issue a return authorization
o Provide product return instructions
Note: Profashion will cover all applicable
shipping & handling fees if the warranty
claim is deemed valid
Additionally, customers have the option to purchase an
extended warranty at any point after the initial purchase.
