1. INTRODUCTION
We would like to congratulate you on the purchase of our garden fountain. We appreciate your trust.
That‘s why funtional security and operational safety stands by us on rst place.
To prevent damage to persons or property, you should read this user manual care-
fully. Please observe all safety precautions and instructions for proper use of the
pump. Failure to follow the instructions and safety precautions can result in injury or
property damage.
Please keep this manual with the instructions and safety instructions carefully in
order to at any time you can restore them. Please always download the latest version
of the user manual of www.pro-pumpe.de under „downloads“. This shall always
prevail.

2. IN GENERAL
The Garden fountains are high-quality fountain pump systems for outdoor or indoor use. The perfect
eye-catcher.
2.1 It‘s recommended NOT to conduct yourself technical modications. First, it is not certain
whether these changes are technically correct and, secondly, because no guarantee can
be granted.
2.2Transport damages are immediately to be reported to the package distributor and to us
in written form. Failure to give timely notice to the shipping company, and are therefore
rejected your claims from the transport company, so we can not accept these claims as
well. In your legal obligation to cooperate to minimize damage, we point out expressly
herewith.

3. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
zUnpack all the water fountain components from
the packaging and lie on a at surface.
zConnect the pump to the rubber tube. Make sure
the tube is properly connected and is not kinked.
zConnect cable connector to female cord from
pump body.
zInstall fountain top on the base, ensure it is stable
before continuing.
zConnect pump cord to adapter.
zFill clean water to the reservoir.
zInsert the plug into the power socket. If installed
correctly water will start to ow from the feature.
zMount the solar panel (see illustration). Remove
the protective lm from the solar panel (if any) .
zPosition the solar panel so that it receives direct
sunlight. The Li-ion battery can only work if the
solar cell is not shaded. Adjust the solar panel
angle to maxinlise the amount of solar energy
collected.
zConnect the pump on the panel (see illustration).
Check whether the ow is fully open (or else
promoted little or no water).
Note: Destilled water is recomended to reduce
mineral deposits and bacteria build-up.
Please note, due to the shape of the slate, some water splashing out of the fountain
is inevitable in the rst few seconds.

4. PERFORMANCE
The perfomance of the pump depends on the orientation of the solar panels toward the sun and the
intensity of. The max. Data obtained under optimal conditions. A feature in the shade or on cloudy
days can not be guaranteed. In models with battery Operation depends on the function of the batte-
ry is charged.
4.1 FROST
Frost can cause damage to the garden fountain and pump. If there
is a risk of frost, the garden fountain and the pump must be emptied,
rinsed with clean water and stored in a dry place. Then you will enjoy
it for a very long time!

5. BATTERY INFORMATION
After 12 to 18 months, you should replace the battery. For this purpose open the battery cover and
replace the battery with a new.
Please note the limited implied warranty of 6 months.
Important! It must be ensured that the battery cover is properly tightened and watertight.
With repeated charge and discharge cycles Lead-Acid and NiMh battery packs are less e󰀩cient
(memory e󰀨ect).
This e󰀨ect is much less pronounced, but still present in small mass in the Li-ion batteries used.
Through very short and frequent loading operations and many other operational inuences batte-
ries can age prematurely strong. The batteries are therefore subject to a consumable and wearing
part of a shortened warranty of 6 months.
If you nd that the battery will be less e󰀩cient, the battery needs to be fully charged. These allow
the unit for 2 to 3 days (pump should not be connected) standing in the sun in order to allow a
maximum charge the battery or use a suitable external charger. We recommend to occasionally
repeat this procedure to extend the battery life.
If after this recharging the battery still does not meet expectations, you should replace the batteries.
NOTE: The battery is supplied charged. If the state of charge, contrary to expectations,
not be su󰀩cient to charge the batteries for at least 8 hours to allow su󰀩cient charging of
the battery (so damage the battery to avoid overcharging, the pump must be connected).
6. WARNINGS ON BATTERY
Lithium Ion cells and battery may get hot, explode or ignite and cause serious
injury if they are exposed to abusive conditions, Be sure to follow the safety
warnings listed below:
zDo not install the battery backwards, so the polarity is reversed
z Do not connect the positive or/and negative terminal or/and the battery to each other with any
meta object, such as wire
zDo not disassemble or modify the battery. The battery contains safety and protection devices
which may cause the battery to generate heat, explode or ignite if damaged
z Do not place the battery in or near re, on stoves or other high temperature locations. Do not
place the battery in direct sunlight or use/store the battery inside cars during hot weather.
Doing so may cause the battery to generate heat, explode or ignite
zIt is not advised for children to handle the battery
zWhen the battery is worn out, wrap the terminals with adhesive tape or similar materials be-
fore disposal
zImmediately discontinue use of the battery, if there is an unusuak smell, a change of color or
shape, or if it appears abnormal in any other way
zDo not place the battery in microwave ovens, high pressure containers or on cookware facili-
ties
z In the event of the battery is leaking and uid gets into your eye, do not rub the eye, rinse
well with water and immediately seek medical advice. If left untreated, the battery uid could
cause serious injury to the eye

If after some time the pump starts losing power or stops working, please clean up sediment
in the pump shell or lter cribs. Kindly note the pump can be opened by pressing down at
the bottom of the lter housing. To clear the impeller, open the pump housing at the front by
sliding up the front plastic cover.

IMPORTANT!
Problem: Uneven water distribution or water splashes in the well area.
Correction: During the initial start-up, the water distribution may be uneven. In such cases we
recommend checking and adjust the accuracy of the fountain and the water ow (see page 14).
7. MAINTENANCE:
zKeep the fountain in good working condition by cleaning it and changing the water every
3 days. Using distilled or puried water will give the best performance.
zIf debris is caught in the intake vents of the pump, disconnect the pump from any power
sources and rinse the pump under clean running water.
zBefore storing the pump in winter it is absolutely important to rinse it with clean water.
zAny dirt particles remaining in the pump will dry out on the the pump shaft during the time of storage
and cause irreparable damage.

8. SECURITY TIPS
zObey absolutely valid regulations on the electrical security
zNever run pump dry
zPumping inammable, as well as all other aggressive liquids is prohibited
zPay attention to the medium temperature max. 35°C
zDon‘t add any additions into the water which could attack the material of the pump
zThe mains plug must be disconnected before carrying out any work on the garden fountain
zNever pull the pump on the electrical cable or pressure hose
zAny altering of the product itself or changing of the components is forbidden.
zAvoid cross section narrowing
zPay attention to the given particle size
zDuring longer unused times, clean the pump, wash it out with clear water, dry and store it
at room temperature
zTest wells for enough owing water (dry run danger)
zThe pump may be used by children aged 8 years and above as well as persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities or those who lack skills, experience and knowledge only
if they are supervised. These aforementioned persons should only use the appliance while
adhering to safe instructions and resulting dangers.
zCleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
zOperate the pump in freshwater or saltwater only (never above 50°C), especially keep it
away from ammable liquids.
zAll solar panels are very sensitive, protect it before all against extemal mechanical inuences
(shock, vibration, etc.)

9. GUARANTEE REGULATIONS
For all manufacturing and material defects, the statutory warranty applies. In these cases we take
the replacement or repair of the device. Shipping costs shall be borne by our company, except as
required by law. Please report the warranty on our service platform https://www.pro-pumpe.de/infor-
mation.php. We will inform you how to proceed with case-related. Returns please su󰀩cient postage.
Unfortunately not prepaid returns can not be accepted because they are ltered out before delivery.
Our service we provide in Germany.
The warranty does not cover:
zMaterial wear (sealing rings, impeller wheels, impeller chambers)
zUnjustied interventions or changes in the pump
zDamages by sel󰀨ault
zImproper servicing and improper use
zDRY RUNNIG (Also partially!) of the pump
Moreover, we give no damage compensation for secondary damages!

11. NOTES ON PRODUCT LIABILITY
We point out, that we are only liable for damages under the Product Liability Act, which are caused
by our units if no changes were made to the equipment. If repairs are carried out by our authorized
service, we are only liable if original spare parts and accessories were used.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE UND WARNUNGEN

2. ALLGEMEINES
Die Gartenbrunnen sind hochwertige Fontänen-Pumpensysteme für den Einsatz im Außen- bzw.
Innenbereich. Der perfekte Blickfang für Garten und Wohnung.
2.1 Es ist NICHT zu empfehlen, selbst technische Modikationen durchzuführen. Erstens
ist nicht sichergestellt, ob diese Veränderungen technisch einwandfrei sind und zwei-
tens erlischt damit die Garantie.
2.2 Transportschäden sind unverzüglich dem Speditionsunternehmen und uns schriftlich
mitzuteilen. Unterbleibt die rechtzeitige Anzeige beim Transportunternehmen und wer-
den deswegen Ihre Ansprüche vom Transportunternehmen abgelehnt, so können wir
diese Ansprüche ebenso nicht anerkennen. Auf Ihre gesetzliche Mitwirkungspicht zur
Schadensminimierung weisen wir Sie hiermit ausdrücklich hin.

3. MONTAGEANLEITUNG
zEntnehmen Sie alle Teile vorsichtig der
Verpackung und legen sie diese auf eine
ebene Fläche.
zVerbinden Sie die Pumpe mit dem
Kabelstecker. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der
Stecker richtig sitzt und das Kabel keine Knicke
aufweist.
zMontieren Sie den Brunnen.
zMontieren Sie das Solarpanel (siehe Abbildung).
zEntfernen Sie die Schutzfolie vom Solarpanel
(wenn vorhanden).
zPositionieren Sie das Solarpanel, so dass es
direktes Sonnenlicht erhält. Der Li-Ionen-Akku
kann nur funktionieren, wenn die Solarzelle
nicht beschattet wird. Passen Sie den Winkel
des Solarpanels an (siehe Abbildung).
zSchließen Sie die Pumpe an das Solarpanel
an (siehe Abbildung). Kontrollieren Sie, ob
der Durchussregler an der Pumpe komplett
geö󰀨net ist (sonst wird kein oder wenig Wasser
gefördert).
zPumpenkabel an das Netzteil/Solarpanel
anschließen.
zFüllen Sie sauberes Wasser in den Behälter.
zBei korrekter Installation beginnt das Wasser zu
ießen.
Hinweis: Es wird destilliertes Wasser emp-
fohlen, um Mineralablagerungen
und Bakterienbildung zu reduzieren.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass beim ersten Anlaufen der Pumpe
etwas Wasser aus dem Brunnen spritzen kann.

4.1 FROST
Frost kann zu Schäden am Gartenbrunnen und der Pumpe führen.
Bei Frostgefahr muss der Gartenbrunnen und die Pumpe entleert
werden, mit klarem Wasser gespült und trocken eingelagert werden.
Dann haben Sie sehr lange Freude daran!
4. LEISTUNG DER PUMPE
Die Leistung der Pumpe hängt von der Ausrichtung des Solar-Panels zur Sonne und deren Intensi-
tät ab. Die max. Daten werden bei optimalen Bedingungen erreicht. Eine Funktion im Schatten oder
bei bewölktem Himmel kann nicht garantiert werden. Bei Modellen mit Akku-Betrieb hängt die Funk-
tion vom Ladezustand der Akkus ab.

5. INFORMATIONEN ZUM AKKU
Nach 12 bis 18 Monaten sollten Sie die Batterie ersetzen. Dazu ö󰀨nen Sie die Batterieabde-
ckung und ersetzten Sie den Akku durch einen neuen. Bitte beachten Sie die eingeschränkte
gesetzliche Gewährleistung von 6 Monaten.
WICHTIG! Es muss sichergestellt werden, daß die Akkuabdeckung gut angezogen
und wasserdicht ist.
Mit wiederholten Lade- und Entladezyklen werden Blei- und NiMh-Akku-Packs weniger e󰀩zient (Me-
mory-E󰀨ekt). Dieser E󰀨ekt ist bei den verwendeten Li-Ionen-Akkus wesentlich weniger ausgeprägt,
aber in kleinem Masse immer noch vorhanden. Durch sehr kurze und häuge Ladevorgänge und
viele andere Betriebseinüsse können Akkus vorzeitig stark altern. Die Akkus unterliegen daher als
Verbrauchs- und Verschleißteile einer verkürzten Gewährleistung von 6 Monaten.
Wenn Sie feststellen, dass der Akku weniger e󰀩zient erscheint, muss der Akku neu voll aufgeladen
werden. Dazu lassen Sie das Gerät für mindestens 8 Stunden (Pumpe muß angeschlossen sein)
in der Sonne stehen, um eine maximale Ladung der Batterie zu ermöglichen oder Sie benutzen ein
geeignetes externes Ladegerät. Wir empfehlen, diesen Vorgang gelegentlich zu wiederholen, um
die Lebensdauer der Batterie zu verlängern.
Wenn nach dieser Neuladung die Akkus immer noch nicht die Erwartungen erfüllen, sollten Sie die
Akkus austauschen.
HINWEIS: Der Akku wird im vorgeladenen Zustand geliefert. Sollte der Ladezustand,
wider Erwarten, nicht ausreichend sein, laden Sie die Akkus für mindestens 8 Stun-
den, um eine ausreichende Ladung des Akkus zu ermöglichen ( damit Schäden am Akku
durch Überladen vermieden werden, muß die Pumpe angeschlossen sein).
6. WARNHINWEISE ZUM AKKU
Lithium-Ionen-Zellen und Akkus können heiß werden, explodieren oder sich ent-
zünden und schwere Verletzungen verursachen, wenn sie nicht bestimmungsge-
mäß eingesetzt werden. Bitte beachten Sie unbedingt die unten aufgeführten Si-
cherheitshinweise:
z Beachten Sie beim Einsetzen der Akkus unbedingt auf die richtige Polarität.
z Vermeiden Sie, dass die positiven und/oder negativen Anschlüsse und/oder die Pole der Akkus
miteinander, oder mit Metall in Kontakt kommen. Das kann zu einem Kurzschluss führen.
z Die Akkus sollten nicht zerlegt, oder modiziert werden. Die Akkus enthalten Sicherheits- und
Schutzvorrichtungen. Die Beschädigung der Akkus kann zur Erzeugung von Wärme führen, sie
können explodieren oder sich entzünden.
z Lagern Sie die Akkus nicht in, oder in die Nähe von Feuer, auf Öfen oder anderen Gegenstän-
den die hohe Temperaturen abgeben. Setzen Sie die Akkus nicht direkter Sonneneinstrahlung
aus. Lagern Sie den Akku bei heißem Wetter nicht im Auto. Der Akku kann bei hohen Tempera-
turen explodieren oder sich entzünden.
z Akkus sollten nicht in Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahrt werden.
z Um Kurzschlüsse zu vermeiden, sollten die Pole der Batterien vor der Entsorgung mit isolie-
rendem Klebeband abgedeckt werden.
z Die Nutzung der Akkus sollte sofort eingestellt werden, wenn ungewöhnliche Gerüche, eine
Änderung der Farbe, der Form oder andere nicht normale Umstände auftreten.
z Legen Sie die Akkus nicht in Mikrowellenherde, Hochdruckbehälter oder auf Herdplatten.
z Falls bei einem Akku Flüssigkeit austritt und mit Ihrem Auge in Berührung kommt, nicht das
Auge reiben, gut mit Wasser spülen und sofort einen Arzt aufsuchen. Wenn das Auge nicht so-
fort behandelt wird, kann die Batterie-üssigkeit zu schweren Verletzungen des Auges führen.
