Typical Installation
1. Raise the front of the vehicle with a jack to assist you in removing the front bar.
2. Remove the 5 scrivets along the top of the vehicles radiator cover and 3 upper grille
screws near the bonnet latch.
3. Remove the drivers side power steering cooler bracket. On V8 models, remove the
engine cover and remove the engine air box and air intake to the throttle.
4. Mount the transmission cooler long bracket to the top of the oil cooler on the barbed
side. Mount the short bracket to the bottom of the oil cooler as pictured below.

5. From the top grille opening, lower the transmission oil cooler core into place offset to
the drivers side, with the outlets pointing to the DRIVERS side of the vehicle
6. Line up the left hand side bracket with the existing hole furthest towards the driver
side. Drill a 6mm hole in the opposite top mount bracket and secure both brackets with
the provided M6 bolts and nylon nuts.
7. With the top of the oil cooler now secured, proceed to drill 2x more 6mm holes into the
bottom panel so they align with the bottom bracket feet. Secure this bracket to the
vehicles lower panel with the provided M6 bolts and nuts.
8. Connect the 350mm long hose to the bottom barbed outlet on the oil cooler running
down under the drivers side radiator tank. Connect the 1000mm long hose to the top
barbed outlet on the oil cooler and run it down along drivers side radiator tank.
9. Loosen the bottom in-tank transmission pipe on the radiator. Remove the sealing
washer from the end of this pipe and place it on the provided male hose adapter. Screw
this adapter to the bottom in-tank transmission outlet in the radiator and tighten.
10. Screw the female adapter to the end of the factory transmission pipe that is now left
over. Connect the 350mm rubber hose to this adapter and secure with 2x 3/8” clamps.
Connect the 1000mm hose to the male adapter and secure with 2x 3/8” hose clamps.
11. Tighten all connections and carry out a final inspection. Refit all components
previously removed. Start the engine and inspect the system for any leaks.
