POSITIONINGYOURDEHUMIDIFIER

•Selectasuitablelocation,makingsureyouhaveeasyaccesstothemainssocket.

•Installyourdehumidifieronastable,levelsurface.Makesurethesurfaceisstrongenoughtosupportthe

weightofthedehumidifierwithafullbucket.Donotsitorstandonthedehumidifier.

•Placeyourdehumidifierintheuprightposition.

•Afterunpackingandpositioningyourdehumifier,allowtherefrigerantsystemtostabilisefor

approximiately2hoursbeforeuse.

•Placetheapplianceawayfromtheclothesdryer,heaterorradiator.

•Usetheapplianceinabasementtohelppreventmoisturedamage.

•Usetheappliancetopreventbooksorvaluablesfrommoisturedamage.

•Theappliancemustbeoperatedinanenclosedareatobemosteffective.

•Closealldoors,windowsandotheroutsideopeningstotheroom.



OPERATION

•Thisapplianceisdesignedtooperatewithworkingenvironmentbetween5°Cand35°C.

•Makesurethewaterbucketiscorrectlyfitted.

•Donotconnecttheappliancetoamultiplesocketoutlet.

•Plugtheapplianceintothemainssocket.



NOTE:Alwaysbecarefulwhenmovingtheappliance,especiallyaswatergetshigherinthebucket;the

higherthewatergetsinthebucket,theeasieritisfortheappliancetofalloverwhenbeingmoved.

Itisrecommendedtoemptythebucketbeforemovingtheappliance.





2. Toturnontheappliance,turnthehumiditycontrolknobclockwiseuntilthegreenoperating

indicatorlightilluminates.



•Thehumiditycontrolknobcanbesetanywherebetweenandfornormaloperation.

•Ifyouneedmoredehumidification,turntheknobtowards .Ifyouneedlessdehumidification,turn

theknobtowards .

3. Toturnofftheappliance,turnthehumiditycontrolknobto .

•Theoperatingindicatorlight willgoout.

NOTE:Whenturningonorofftheappliance,thedefrostingindicatorlightwillbrieflyilluminate.



Defrosting

Iftheambienttempreratureistoolowwhenoperatingthedehumidifier,theappliancewillautomatically

starttodefrostandtheindictorlight willilluminate.

REMOVINGCOLLECTEDWATER



Emptyingthewaterbucket:

Whenthewaterbucketisfull,theindicatorlight  willillumiante.

Toemptythewaterbucket,

1. Unplugtheappliancefromthemainssocket.

2. Removethewaterbucketcarefullywithbothhandsandemptythecollectedwater.

3. Replacethewaterbucketintopositionandthenswitchontheappliancebyturning

thehumiditycontrolknobtothedesiredsetting.

•Thebucketfullindicatorlightwillgoout.



NOTE:Neverdrinkthewateroruseittowaterplant.



Continuousdrainage:

Iftheapplianceistobeoperatedforlongperiodsbutyouareunabletoemptythebucket,itis

recommendedtousethecontinuousdrainfacility.



1. Unscrewthedraincapontherearoftheappliance.

2. Removetherubberplug.

3. Fastenahose(notsupplied)withadiameterof14mmtothedrainoutlet.



  



4. Makesurethatthehoseisnothigherthantheoutlet;otherwisewaterwillremaininthebucket.Also

checkthatthehoseisnotkinked.







NOTE:Whenthecontinuousdrainfacilityisnotbeingused,removethehosefromtheoutletand

attachtherubberpluganddraincapbacktothedrainoutlet.

CLEANINGANDMAINTENANCE

Turnoffanddisconnecttheappliancefromthemainssocketbeforeperforminganycleaningor

maintenanceoperations.

Neverimmersetheapplianceinwater.



Cleaningthebody

Cleantheoutsideoftheappliancewithaslightlydampcloth.Drythoroughly.

Donotuseabrasiveorchemicalcleaningagents.



Cleaningtheairfilter

Theairfilterislocatedbehindthefrontpanelshouldbecheckedandcleanedregularly.

Itisrecommendedtocleantheairfiltereverytwoweeks.



1. Tilttheappliancetowardstherearatanangle.

2. Cleanthefilterinwarmsoapywater.Rinseanddryit

thoroughlybeforereplacingit.

3. Fitthefilterbackinplace.



CAUTION:DONOToperatethedehumidifierwithouta

filterbecausedirtandlintwillclogitandreduce

performance.



Storage

Iftheapplianceisnotusedforlongperiods,afterturningoffandunpluggingtheappliancefromthemains

socket,emptythebucket.

Cleantheoutsideoftheappliance.Cleanandrepositionthebucketandairfilter.

Covertheappliancetoprotectitfromdust.

Storetheapplianceuprightinadry,well‐ventilatedplace.


