WARNINGS
This appliance is intended to be used in
household and similar applicaons such as:
– staffkitchen areas in shops, offices and other
working environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other
residenal type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service

The connector must be removed before the

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read this instrucon manual carefully before you use the appliance and save it for
future reference.
•Check if the voltage indicated on the boom of the appliance corresponds to the
local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
•Keep the mains cord away from hot surfaces.
•Do not let the mains cord hang over the edge of the table or worktop on which the
appliance stands.
•Do not leave the appliance unaended when it is in operaon.
•Always plug the thermostat unit into the appliance first, and then plug cord into
mains socket.
•Only use the thermostat unit supplied.
•Place the appliance on a firm, level, dry and non-flammable surface.
•Keep the appliance at least 15 cm away from other objects to ensure sufficient
venlaon.
•Always set the thermostat knob to the minimum posion before pulling the plug out
of the mains socket.
•Make sure that the drip tray is always in place during grilling.
•Do not move the appliance when it is in operaon and do not touch the grilling
plate.
•Use oven gloves when cooking food at a high temperature. Splashed fat may
otherwise cause burns.
•Always unplug the appliance aer use and remove the mains plug from the mains
socket before you remove the thermostat unit from the appliance.
•Allow fat in the drip tray to cool before removing it.
•Never use the appliance near curtains and other flammable materials.
•Always let the appliance cool down before cleaning it.
•This appliance is only intended for indoor use. Do not use it outdoors.

OPERATION
Note:Theappliancemayproducesomesmokewhenusingitforthefirsttime.Thisis
normal.
1. Slidethedriptrayintotheappliance.
2. Insertthethermostatunitintotheconnectingsocketonthesideofthe
appliance.
•Makesurethethermostatknobissetattheminimumposition.
3. Plugthethermostatunitintothemainssocket.
4. Turnthethermostatknobtothedesiredtemperature.
•Theindicatorlightwillilluminate,indicatingthegrillingplateis
heatingup.
5. Whentheselectedtemperaturehasbeenreached,theindicatorlightwillgoout.
6. Putthefoodtobecookedontothegrillingplate.
Warning!Dangerofburns:thegrillingplategetsveryhot,donottouch!
•Duringthegrillingprocess,theindicatorlightwilllightupandgooutindicating
thatthedesiredtemperatureisbeingmaintained.
7. Turnthefoodfromtimetotimewithwoodenorplasticspatulas(not
supplied).
•Donotusemetal,sharporabrasivekitchenutensils.
8. Grillthefoodaccordingtoyourowntaste.
•Grillingtimedependsonthekindsoffoodanditsthickness.
9. Whenthefoodiscooked,removeitfromthegrillingplate.
10. Setthethermostatknobtotheminimumpositionwhenyouhavefinishedgrilling.

Unplug the thermostat unit from the mains socket.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning!
Unplug the thermostat unit from the mains socket and allow the appliance to cool
down before cleaning.
Do not immerse the grilling plate and thermostat unit in water.
Remove the thermostat unit out of socket. Clean it with a slightly damp
cloth.
Carefully remove the drip tray and dispose of the collected oil.
NOTE: Do not pour the oil down the drain, as it may solidify and cause blockages.
Clean the drip tray in warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
Clean the outer surface of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth.
Remove excess oil from the grilling plate with a piece of kitchen paper and then clean it
using a damp cloth or sponge with a li mild detergent.
Never use abrasive or chemical cleaning agents, as they could damage the
appliance and the nons coa of the grilling plate.
Surfaces in contact with food should be cleaned regularly to avoid cross contamina on
from different types of food, the use of warm clean water with a mild detergent is
advisable when dealing with surfaces that come into contact with food.
Correct food hygiene prac ses should always be followed at all es to avoid
possibility of food poisoning /cross contamina on.
The thermostat unit must be completely dry before you reinsert it into the co
socket of the appliance.

MISES EN GARDE IMPORTANTES

WAARSCHUWINGEN
Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor gebruik in
huishoudelijke en gelijkaardige omgevingen,
zoals:
−in personeelskeukens van winkels, kantoren
en andere werkomgevingen
−in boerderijen
−door klanten in hotels, motels en andere
omgevingen van het residenële type.
−omgevingen van het type bed en breakfast.
Een beschadigd netsnoer mag uitsluitend
worden vervangen door de fabrikant, een
erkende reparaeservice of personen met
gelijkwaardige kwalificaes om gevaar te
voorkomen.
Het netsnoer moet worden losgekoppeld
voordat het apparaat wordt gereinigd.
De stroomingang van het apparaat moet
droog zijn voordat het apparaat weer wordt
gebruikt.
Gebruik alleen een geschikte aansluing.
Dit apparaat kan worden gebruikt door

beperkt lichamelijk, zintuiglijk of geestelijk

gebruiksonderhoud mogen niet worden

Houd dit apparaat en het snoer ervan buiten
het bereik van kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar.
Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld om te worden
bediend door middel van een externe mer
of afzonderlijk aangekocht
afstandsbedieningssysteem.

onderhoud” op pagina 17 voor details over
het reinigen van oppervlakken die in contact
komen met levensmiddelen.

apparaat werkt.
Raak warme oppervlakken niet aan. Houd
het apparaat alleen bij de handvaten vast om
het te verplaatsen.
Zet dit apparaat niet in of vlakbij een warm
gas- of elektrisch fornuis en laat het niet in
contact komen met een warme oven of
magnetron.
BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORZORGEN
Leesde volledige handleiding voordat u dit apparaat in gebruik neemt en
bewaar voor toekomsg gebruik.
•Controleer voordat u dit apparaat aansluit of de spanning die is aangegeven op de
onderzijde van het apparaat overeenstemt met de netspanning bij u thuis.
•Houd het netsnoer uit de buurt van warme oppervlakken.
•Laat het snoer nooit hangen over de rand van een tafel of aanrecht waarop het
apparaat staat.
•Laat dit apparaat jdens de werking niet onbeheerd achter.
•Sluit aljd eerst de thermostaat aan op het apparaat en stop daarna pasde stekker
in het stopcontact.
•Gebruik uitsluitend de meegeleverde thermostaat.
•Zet dit apparaat neer op een stevige, vlakke, droge en hiebestendige ondergrond.
•Houd het apparaat op een afstand van ten minste 15 cm van andere voorwerpen
voor adequate venlae.
•Schakel aljd de thermostaatknop naar de minimumstand voordat u de stekker uit
het stopcontact haalt.
•Controleer voordat u gaat grillen aljd of de druipschaal is ingezet.

•Verplaats het apparaat niet jdens de werking en raak de grillplaat niet aan.
•Gebruik ovenwanten voor het bereiden van voedsel op hoge temperatuur.
Opspaendvet kan anders brandwonden veroorzaken.
•Ontkoppel na gebruik aljd het snoer van het apparaat en haal de stekker uit het
stopcontact voordat u de thermostaat uit het apparaat haalt.
•Laat het vet in de druipschaal aoelen voordat u het verwijdert.
•Gebruik dit apparaat nooit vlakbij gordijnen of andere brandbare materialen.
•Laat het apparaat aoelen voordat u het reinigt.
•Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor binnengebruik. Gebruik het niet buitenhuis.
ONDERDELEN VAN HET APPARAAT
VOOR DE EERSTE INGEBRUIKNAME
Verwijder voordat u dit apparaat voor het eerst in gebruik neemt alle verpakkingsmaterialen
en veeg het apparaat schoon met een vochge doek.
Reinig het apparaat en de plaat grondig (Zie hoofdstuk ‘Reinigen en onderhoud’).
BEDIENING
Opmerking: dit apparaat kan bij de eerste ingebruikname wat rook afgeven. Dit is
volkomen normaal.
1. Schuif de druipschaal in het apparaat.
2. Stop de thermostaat in het contact op de zijkant van het apparaat.
•Zorg ervoor dat thermostaatknop in de minimumstand is
geschakeld.
3. Sluit de thermostaat aan op een stopcontact.
4. Draai de thermostaatknop naar de gewenste temperatuur.
•Het controlelampje gaat branden, aangevenddat de grillplaat opwarmt.

De correcte prakjken voor voedselhygiëne dienen te allen jde te worden
gerespecteerd om een risico van voedselvergiiging/kruisbesmeng te voorkomen.
De thermostaat moet volledig droog zijn voordat u deze terug op het apparaat aansluit.

VERWIJDERING
Als een verantwoordelijke verkoper willen wij zorg dragen voor het

Omdat dit apparaat elektronische onderdelen bevat, dienen het apparaat en de
accessoires ervan aan het eind van de gebruiksduur afzonderlijk van het huisvuil te
worden gesorteerd.
Neem contact op met uw plaatselijke overheid voor meer informae over
afvalverwijdering en recycling.
Dit apparaat moet worden gebracht naar een plaatselijk inzamelpunt voor recycling.
Sommige inzamelpunten nemen apparatuur gras terug.
