Two-in-One Mini-Projector and Back Up Battery Case for iPhone 4 and 4S
User Guide

1. Introduction
The Lumino lights the way where others follow. The premise is simple: a protective case for the
iPhone 4 and 4S with a built in back-up battery, that just so happens to come with a projector.
Using a state of the art DLP technology lens, the Lumino projects whatever is on your iPhone
screen onto nearby walls with unerring clarity. With a range of up to 50’ and an in-built speaker
system, the Lumino is ideal either for business people looking to make sleek, efficient and
memorable presentations or for personal users wishing to view slideshows or pictures in the
comfort of their own homes.

3. LED Indicator Light
When charging the projector case or iPhone 4/4s device, the red light will flash.
When charging is complete, the green light and the red light will flash.
When the product is in operational mode, the blue light will flash.
When the battery is low (less than 10%), the blue light will flash repeatedly. The
machine will power off automatically after one minute.
4. Turn on/Turn off the Projector
Slide the power switch to the right for 3 seconds to turn on the projector.
Slide the power switch to the right for another 3 seconds to turn off the projector.
5. Focus Adjustment
When in use, you can manually adjust the focus to achieve a better video effect.
6. Volume Adjustment
When the audio files are playing, you can adjust the volume through the two buttons on
the left hand side.
7. Functions and Operation
Video Display
1. Connect projector and iPhone 4/4S.
2. Turn on the projector.
3. Select video files to display in the main interface of iPhone 4/4s device. Then press "Play".
4. When displaying the video file, adjust volume through the "+"/"-" buttons.
5. In order to project the complete display of the video, it is recommended to select PAL for TV
out on your iPhone 4/4s device.
Note: If the following interface is appearing, please turn on the projector again and re-display
the video.
Note: In order to ensure the complete display of the video recorded by iPhone 4/4s device, it is
recommended to place the iPhone 4/4s device horizontally when recording video.

Picture Browsing
1. Connect the projector and iPhone 4/4s device.
2. Turn on the projector.
3. Select picture file to display in the main interface of iPhone 4/4s device. Press the “play”
button then select "start slideshow".
CHARGING
Charging the projector
1. Connect the USB cables.
2. Connect the included USB cable to both the projector and a 2.0 USB port on your computer.
3. When the LED indicator light becomes red, it is charging.
4. After the charging is complete, red LED indicator light and green LED indicator light will flash
always.
Note: You may also charge the Projector with a USB/AC adapter (not included.)
Charging iPhone 4/4S device
1. Connect the projector and iPhone 4/4s device.
2. Slide the power switch to the left; it will charge for iPhone 4/4s device through the projector.
3. When charging for iPhone 4/4s device through the projector, LED indicator light will become
red.
4. When the battery of projector is lower than 5%, it will stop charging for iPhone 4/4s device to
protect the battery of projector.
Charging both Projector and iPhone 4/4S
1. Connect the projector and iPhone 4/4s device.
2. Connect USB cables.
Connect the included USB cable to both the projector and a 2.0 USB port on your computer.
Note: You may also charge the Projector with a USB/AC adapter (not included.)
For Charge and Sync with iTunes:
Connect Mini-USB cable to your PC and Lumino, slide the power switch to left (charging mode)
and your iPhone would be in charge mode and recognized by iTunes as well.

8. Installation of ProJout Application
ProJout is the added software kit for the Lumino which contains features such as PDF View, Web View,
Images View and Live View. PDF view allows you to show your PDF files with customers and friends for
business or lecture use. Web View shows projected website view for bigger screen content. Images view
simply shows your stored images with zooming and scrolling. Lastly, Live View can give you a live
projection. You can also use camera to take images.
Installation procedures:
1. Find the application.
2. Go to App Store on your iPhone and enter “ProJout”.

3. After selecting the application, click on Install.
4. Please install the apps you find “ProJout” to your iPhone4/4s.
5. Opening the application.
6. Open the ProJout application you installed. You will find four functions as shown in the
below picture.

1. Allow the application to use your location.
Click “Image” first, and allow “ProJout” use your current location.
2. Photos
Choose any picture you want to show. Click the round button on the top right corner, the
button color will change from grey to blue which means “turn on”. Click again, the button
color will be grey which means “turn off”.

3. Web
Enter “Web” to enjoy your surfing time. If you want to share the webpage, click the round
button on the lower right corner.
4. PDF
Install PDF files you want to share through iTunes.
Enter “PDF” in “ProJout” and find the exact files you want to show, turn on the round
button, the files will be projected out.
5. Live
“Live” means you can project out the video while you are taking the video.
