Bitte lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal
verwenden.
Vielen Dank für den Kauf des Promed UBS-2.4 Wärmeunterbettes. Mit diesem Wärmeunterbett können
Sie den gesamten Körper sanft erwärmen und entspannen. Die Anwendung fördert die Durchblutung in
verhärteten Muskelbereichen und das Wohlbefinden nach einem anstrengenden Tag. Das Wärmeunterbett
sorgt für ein angenehm temperiertes Bett, so dass Sie entspannt und schnell einschlafen. Das Gerät ist
ausschließlich für den Hausgebrauch und nicht für gewerbliche Anwendungen oder den Einsatz in
Krankenhäusern oder Arztpraxen gedacht. Um alle Vorteile Ihres Wärmeunterbettes für eine möglichst
lange Zeit genießen zu können, lesen Sie bitte diese Anleitung gründlich und beachten Sie die Hinweise
zur Pflege und Sicherheit. Bitte bewahren Sie diese Anleitung für die weitere Verwendung oder, falls Sie
das Wärmeunterbett einer anderen Person geben wollen, sorgfältig auf. Wir, der Hersteller, können in
keiner Weise haftbar gemacht werden für Verletzungen bzw. Schäden an Personen oder Sachen, die sich
aus Nichtbeachten dieser Anleitung ergeben. Wir wünschen Ihnen mit Ihrem neuen Promed UBS-2.4
viel Freude. Im Folgenden möchten wir Sie mit dem Gerät vertraut machen. Lesen Sie bitte vor der ersten
Anwendung die Gebrauchsanweisung.

Vor Inbetriebnahme bitte beachten:
A. Das Wärmeunterbett darf nur mit dem mitgelieferten Bedienteil verwendet werden.
B. Spannungsversorgung des Gerätes: 220 - 240 V~.
C. Falls Probleme am Gerät auftreten, senden Sie dieses bitte zum Hersteller.
D. Nur für den Gebrauch in Innenräumen.
E. Bei Verwendung eines Elektrogerätes in der Nähe von Kindern ist eine gewissenhafte
Beaufsichtigung erforderlich.
GEFAHR!
• Bringen Sie das Gerät nie mit Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten direkt in Kontakt.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals in der Badewanne, Dusche, Pools, Saunen oder im Freien.
• Berühren Sie das Gerät nicht mit nassen Händen.
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur mit der vorgegebenen Netzspannung.
• Das Gerät darf nicht im Freien benutzt werden.
• Dieses Gerät verwendet Netzspannung, deshalb gelten die gleichen Sicherheitsbestimmungen, wie für
jedes andere elektrische Gerät.
• Kontrollieren Sie vor jeder Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes, dass alle Komponenten des Gerätes in
einwandfreiem Zustand sind. Im Falle eines Defekts oder einer Fehlfunktion, schalten Sie das Gerät sofort
aus und ziehen den Netzstecker vom Stromnetz.
• Reparaturen dürfen ausschließlich vom Hersteller durchgeführt werden. Öffnen Sie niemals das Gerät. Die
einzelnen Komponenten dieses Gerätes dürfen nicht zerlegt, repariert oder modifiziert werden.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in trockenen Räumen und mit einem trockenen Körper.
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe von anderen Wärmequellen.
• Das Gerät niemals am Netzkabel tragen oder ziehen. Ziehen Sie das Kabel am Stecker und niemals am
Kabel aus der Steckdose.
• Das Netzkabel nicht über scharfe Kanten ziehen oder einklemmen, nicht herunterhängen lassen und nicht
über heiße Gegenstände (z.B. Herdplatten) oder offene Flammen legen oder hängen, sowie vor Hitze oder
Öl schützen.
• Verlängerungskabel nur dann verwenden, wenn Sie sich vorher von deren einwandfreiem Zustand
überzeugt haben.
• Sollte das Netzkabel des Gerätes einmal beschädigt sein, lassen Sie es umgehend durch einen Fachmann
ersetzen.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals, nachdem das Stromkabel beschädigt wurde, das Gerät heruntergefallen
ist oder es mit Wasser in Kontakt kam.
• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt wird.
• Das Gerät darf nicht von Kleinkindern (0-3 Jahre) benutzt werden.
• Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und von Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen
oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangelnder Erfahrung und Wissen verwendet werden, wenn sie durch
eine für Ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt werden oder von dieser Person eine ausführliche
Anleitung zur Benutzung des Gerätes in der Art und Weise erhalten haben, dass Sie die damit verbundenen
Gefahren verstehen.
• Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
• Reinigungs- und Instandhaltungsarbeiten dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Aufsicht durchgeführt werden.
• Ein Elektrogerät ist kein Kinderspielzeug. Kinder erkennen die Gefahren nicht, die beim Umgang
mit Elektrogeräten entstehen können. Das Gerät deshalb außer Reichweite von Kindern benutzen und
aufbewahren.
• Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Stromnetz, bevor Sie es reinigen. Stellen Sie während der Reinigung sicher,
dass keine Flüssigkeiten mit dem Schalter in Kontakt kommen und dass das Gerät nur in einem absolut
trockenen Zustand verwendet wird.
• Keine Nadeln oder spitzen Gegenstände in das Gerät einführen.
• Das Gerät darf nicht auf einem verstellbaren Bett verwendet werden. Vor Gebrauch auf einem
verstellbaren Bett ist zu prüfen, dass das Wärmeunterbett und die Leitungen nicht (z.B. in Scharniere)
eingeklemmt oder zusammengeschoben werden.

WARNUNG!
• Lassen Sie das Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt, wenn sich Kinder oder ungeübte Personen im Umgang mit
diesem Gerät in der Nähe befinden.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur für Anwendungen, wie in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung beschrieben.
• Lassen Sie Kinder nie mit dem Verpackungsmaterial spielen, es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.
• Das Gerät nicht auf heiße Oberflächen oder in Nähe von offenen Gasflammen abstellen oder benutzen,
damit das Gehäuse nicht schmilzt.
• Bewahren Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe eines Waschbeckens oder einer Badewanne auf, da die Gefahr
besteht, dass es ins Waschbecken oder die Badewanne fallen oder gezogen werden kann.
• Bitte konsultieren Sie vor der Verwendung des Gerätes einen Arzt, wenn Sie an einer Erkrankung wie, z.B.
Krampfadern, Thrombose, etc., leiden
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals mit offenen Wunden, Verbrennungen, Hämatomen, Schwellungen oder
ähnlichen Verletzungen.
• Beenden Sie die Anwendung des Gerätes umgehend, wenn diese sich unangenehm für Sie anfühlt.
Wärmeempfindliche Personen sollten insbesondere das Gerät mit Vorsicht benutzen und nur kurze
Anwendungszeiten verwenden.
• Die vom Gerät ausgehenden elektrischen und magnetischen Felder können unter Umständen die Funktion
eines Herzschrittmachers stören. Sie liegen jedoch unter den Grenzwerten. Bitte befragen Sie Ihren Arzt und
den Hersteller Ihres Herzschrittmachers vor der Verwendung des Gerätes.

• Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals an Tieren.
Achtung!
• Um die ordnungsgemäße Funktionalität des Bedienelements zu gewährleisten, legen Sie es nicht auf oder
unter das Gerät.
• Verwenden Sie niemals das Wärmeunterbett, wenn es zusammengeklappt, zerknittert oder
zusammengeschoben ist.
• Das Gerät darf nicht von kleinen Kindern ab drei Jahren verwendet werden, sofern die Einstellungen nicht
von einem Elternteil oder Erziehungsberechtigten voreingestellt wurden, oder dass das Kind ausreichend
eingewiesen wurde, wie das Gerät sicher zu betreiben ist.
• Nicht verwenden, wenn das Gerät nass ist.
• Das Gerät darf nicht von hilflosen Personen oder Personen, die unempfindlich gegen Hitze sind, verwendet
werden.
• Kinder unter drei Jahren dürfen das Gerät, aufgrund ihrer Unfähigkeit auf eine Überhitzung zu reagieren,
nicht verwenden.
• Die elektronischen Bauteile im Schalter können sich beim Gebrauch des Gerätes erwärmen. Der Schalter
darf deshalb nicht abgedeckt werden, oder auf dem Gerät liegen, wenn es betrieben wird.
• Zum Lagern des Gerätes lassen Sie es vor dem Falten abkühlen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Wärmeunterbett
nicht knittert und, dass keine Gegenstände auf ihr gelagert werden.

INBETRIEBNAHME DES GERÄTES
Bitte überprüfen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme die Vollständigkeit der Lieferung.
Verwenden Sie nur Originalteile!
Verwenden Sie kein anderes Bedienteil!
Achten Sie darauf, dass das Wärmeunterbett beim Betrieb nicht eingeklemmt, vollkommen glatt
und faltenfrei ist.
Positionieren des Wärmeunterbettes
1. Breiten Sie das Wärmeunterbett flach auf der Matratze aus. Am Wärmeunterbett befinden sich vier
angenähte Gummibänder. Nutzen Sie diese Bänder, um das Wärmeunterbett um die Ecken der Matratze
zu spannen.
2. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Wärmeunterbett in Längs- und in Querrichtung straff auf der Matratze aufliegt
und während der gesamten Nutzungszeit keine Falten wirft. Breiten Sie darauf ein Bettlaken aus. So kann
das Wärmeunterbett seine Wärme am besten abgeben. Kontrollieren Sie die korrekte Lage jeweils vor dem
Zubettgehen! Wir empfehlen, das Wärmeunterbett 30 Minuten vor dem Zubettgehen einzuschalten.
3. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Wärmeunterbett faltenfrei liegt, die elektrischen Leitungen nicht geknickt oder
verbogen sind und sich das Bedienteil nicht unter der Matratze befindet. Dies könnte zu einer Fehlfunktion des
Wärmeunterbettes führen, da hohe Temperaturen erzeugt werden, was wiederum den Überhitzungsschutz
des Gerätes auslösen kann.
4. Sie können Ihr Spannbetttuch wie üblich unter der Matratze einklemmen.
Verwenden des Wärmeunterbettes
1. Kontrollieren Sie ob die beiden Stecker (Stecker des Bedienteils (G) und Stecker des Gerätes (H)) miteinander
verbunden sind. Sollte dies nicht der Fall sein, verbinden Sie beide korrekt miteinander. Um das Gerät zu
betreiben, stecken Sie den Netzstecker (A) in die Netzsteckdose. Im Display erscheint die Anzeige „ ”
welche nach ca. 1 Sekunde erlischt. Als Hinweis, dass das Gerät mit der Stromversorgung verbunden ist,
leuchtet weiterhin der rote Punkt rechts unten im Display.
2. Um das Gerät einzuschalten, drücken Sie die Ein / Aus Taste (F).
3. Um die gewünschte Temperatur einzustellen drücken Sie die Temperaturtaste (D). Sie können die gewünschte
Temperatur in 10 Stufen (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, H) einstellen. Um die Temperatur zu erhöhen, drücken
Sie auf das „+“ in der oberen Hälfte der Temperaturtaste (D). Um die Temperatur zu verringern, drücken
Sie auf das „-“ in der unteren Hälfte der Temperaturtaste (D).
4. Um die gewünschte Betriebsdauer einzustellen drücken Sie die Timertaste (E). Sie können die gewünschte
Betriebszeit im 9 Stufen (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) einstellen. Hierbei entspricht jede Stufe ca. einer Stunde
Betriebszeit.
Um die Betriebszeit zu erhöhen, drücken Sie auf das „+“ in der oberen Hälfte der Timertaste (E). Um die
Betriebszeit zu verringern, drücken Sie auf das „-“ in der unteren Hälfte der Timertaste (E). Nach dem
Einstellen der Betriebszeit schaltet die Anzeige zurück auf die ausgewählte Temperaturstufe.
5. Das Gerät ist so programmiert, dass beim Einschalten eine Standardeinstellung von 4 Stunden Betriebszeit
und Temperaturstufe 4 voreingestellt ist.
6. Das Gerät schaltet sich automatisch nach Ablauf der gewählten Betriebszeit ab.
7. Um das Gerät nach Ablauf der gewählten Betriebsdauer neu zu starten, drücken Sie einfach die Ein / Aus
Taste (F).
8. Für einen Dauerbetrieb des Gerätes empfiehlt es sich, die Temperaturstufen 1 - 4 zu verwenden.
Hinweis:
Wenn das Gerät und das Bedienteil nicht oder nicht korrekt miteinander verbunden sind, erscheint im
Display der Buchstabe „E“. Diese Anzeige erscheint auch, wenn das Bedienteil oder die Heizdrähte des
Gerätes defekt sind.
9. Automatische Abschaltung
Das Gerät schaltet sich automatisch nach dem Ablauf der ausgewählten Betriebszeit ab. Dies spart Energie
und sorgt für eine zusätzliche Sicherheit, dass das Gerät nicht ohne Aufsicht in Betrieb ist.
10. Nach Gebrauch bitte den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Bedienteil nicht in Berührung mit Flüssigkeiten kommt. Die Flüssigkeit könnte zu
Schäden führen.
• Verwenden Sie niemals das Gerät, während es nass oder feucht ist. Das Gerät darf während des Trocknens
nicht eingeschaltet werden.
• Lassen Sie das Gerät an der Luft trocknen. Verwenden Sie keine Hilfsmittel (z.B. Wäscheklammern) um es
zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Dies könnte die innenliegenden Kabel beschädigen.
Lagerung und regelmäßige Inspektion
• Das Gerät nicht zerknittern. Falten Sie das Produkt sorgfältig für die Lagerung.
• Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen Ort auf, wenn es nicht in Gebrauch ist.
• Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen, bevor Sie es Falten oder Rollen.
• Inspizieren Sie das Gerät und das Netzkabel regelmäßig auf mögliche Anzeichen von Abnutzung oder
Beschädigung.
• Verwenden Sie keinen chemischen Mottenschutz.
• Legen Sie während der Lagerung keine schweren Gegenstände auf das Gerät, dies könnte die elektrischen
Leitungen beschädigen.
• Im Falle von Fehlfunktionen oder Defekten, senden Sie das Gerät an den Hersteller.

Elektrowerkzeuge, Zubehör und Verpackungen sollen einer umweltgerechten Wiederverwertung zugeführt
werden.
Nur für EU-Länder:
Werfen Sie Elektrowerkzeuge nicht in den Hausmüll! Gemäß der Europäischen Richtlinie
2012/19/EU über Elektro- und Elektronikaltgeräte und ihrer Umsetzung in nationales Recht
müssen nicht mehr gebrauchsfähige Elektrowerkzeuge getrennt gesammelt und einer umweltgerechten
Wiederverwertung zugeführt werden.
Innerhalb der EU weist dieses Symbol darauf hin, dass dieses Produkt nicht über den Hausmüll entsorgt werden
darf. Altgeräte enthalten wertvolle recyclingfähige Materialien, die einer Wiederverwertung zugeführt werden
sollten, um der Umwelt bzw. der menschlichen Gesundheit nicht durch unkontrollierte Müllbeseitigung zu schaden.
Bitte entsorgen Sie Altgeräte deshalb über geeignete Sammelsysteme oder senden Sie das Gerät zur Entsorgung
an die Stelle, bei der Sie es gekauft haben. Diese wird dann das Gerät der stofflichen Verwertung zuführen.
Dieses Produkt wurde mit aller Sorgfalt hergestellt und vor Verlassen des Werkes eingehend geprüft. Deshalb
leisten wir auf dieses Produkt eine Garantie von 24 Monaten ab Kaufdatum. Promed Produkte entsprechen
ihrer Beschreibung und den jeweiligen Spezifikationen; es obliegt Ihrer Verantwortlichkeit, sicher zu stellen, dass
die Produkte, die Sie kaufen, für die von Ihnen beabsichtigte Nutzung ausgelegt sind.
• Bei nachweisbaren Material- und/oder Herstellerfehlern, die bei vorschriftsmäßigem Gebrauch auftreten
und die während der Garantiezeit erkannt werden, ersetzen wir innerhalb der Garantiezeit kostenlos
sämtliche mangelhaften Teile des Produktes, inklusive des Lohnkostenanteils der Garantiereparaturen.
• Die Garantie umfasst nicht:
• den normalen Verschleiß des Produktes. Mängel, die durch den Transport oder die Lagerung des
Produktes verursacht werden. Mängel oder Beschädigungen, die durch unvorschriftsmäßige
Verwendung oder mangelhafte Wartung verursacht werden. Schäden auf Grund der Nichtbeachtung
der Hinweise in der Bedienungsanleitung. Schäden auf Grund von Modifikationen des Produktes, die
nicht von Promed durchgeführt wurden.
• Beschädigungen durch scharfe Gegenstände, in Folge von Torsion, Stauchung, Fall, eines anormalen
Stoßes oder sonstiger Handlungen, die außerhalb der angemessenen Kontrolle von Promed liegen.
• Verschleißteile (z.B. bewegliche Teile wie Kugellager etc., Verschlüsse) sind generell von der Garantie
ausgeschlossen.
• Ein Garantieanspruch ist nicht durchsetzbar, wenn:
das Produkt nicht in seiner Originalverpackung oder einer adäquaten sicheren Verpackung zurück gesandt
wird; es durch eine andere Person oder ein Unternehmen, ausgenommen Promed oder eines von Promed
autorisierten Händlers, modifiziert oder repariert wurde; das Produkt mit nicht von Promed genehmigten
Ersatzteilen repariert wurde; die Seriennummer / LOT-Nummer des Produkts entfernt, gelöscht, geändert
oder unleserlich gemacht wurde.
• Aus hygienischen Gründen müssen Produkte, die einem direkten Körperkontakt bzw. einem Kontakt mit
Körperflüssigkeiten (z.B. Blut) ausgesetzt sind, vor der Rücksendung in einen extra Kunststoffbeutel verpackt
werden. In diesen Fällen muss in dem Paket bzw. in den Begleitpapieren ein spezieller Hinweis auf diesen
Sachstand gegeben werden.
• Für während der Garantiezeit instandgesetzte Komponenten oder ausgetauschte Produkte wird die Garantie
nur für die verbleibende ursprüngliche Garantiezeit gewährt; vorausgesetzt, dass dieser Austausch oder
diese Instandsetzung durch Promed oder einem von Promed autorisierten Händler vorgenommen wurde.
• Die Garantiezeit beginnt am Tage des Kaufs. Garantieansprüche müssen innerhalb der Garantiezeit geltend
gemacht werden. Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit auftretende Reklamationen können nicht berücksichtigt
werden. Die Garantie tritt im Rahmen dieser Garantiebedingungen nur dann in Kraft, wenn das Kaufdatum
durch einen Kaufbeleg oder ähnliches nachgewiesen wird. Technische und optische Änderungen, sowie
Änderungen der Ausstattung sind vorbehalten!
Diese Garantie ist nur in dem Land rechtsgültig und durchsetzbar, in dem das Produkt durch den Erstkäufer
erworben wurde, vorausgesetzt, dass die Absicht von Promed war, dass das Produkt für den Verkauf

in diesem Land angeboten wird. Diese Garantie ist ebenfalls in jedwedem Land im Europäischen
Wirtschaftsraum durchsetzbar, in dem Promed über einen autorisierten Importeur oder einen
Vertriebspartner verfügt. Es können, in Abhängigkeit von dem jeweiligen Land, besondere und abweichende
Garantien und Gewährleistungen aufgrund der jeweils anwendbaren Gesetzgebung einschlägig sein.
Diese Rechtsvorschriften werden durch diese Garantiebedingungen weder ausgeschlossen noch beschränkt.
Soweit durch nationales Recht zulässig, wird die Garantiezeit nicht verlängert, erneuert oder anderweitig
beeinträchtigt durch einen nachfolgenden Wiederverkauf, eine Instandsetzung oder einen Austausch des
Produkts.
• Die Bestimmungen des UN Kaufrechts finden keine Anwendung. Die gesetzliche Gewährleistungspflicht
des Verkäufers bleibt von unseren Garantiebedingungen unberührt. In dem, durch die anwendbare
zwingende Gesetzgebung größtmöglichen Umfang, stellen diese Garantiebedingungen Ihr einziges und
ausschließliches Rechtsmittel dar und gelten anstelle sämtlicher sonstiger ausdrücklicher oder konkludenter

Please read the instructions for use carefully before using the device for the first time.
Thank you for purchasing the Promed UBS-2.4 heating underblanket. With this heating underblanket,
you can gently warm and relax your whole body. Using this heating underblanket stimulates circulation in
stiffened muscle groups and promotes a sense of well-being after a stressful day. This heating underblanket
warms up your bed to a cosy temperature so that you can fall asleep easily and quickly. This device is
intended only for personal use and not for commercial use or for use in hospitals or medical practices.
In order to enjoy the benefits of your heating underblanket for as long as possible, please read these
instructions carefully and observe the information on safety and caring for your heating underblanket.
Please keep these instructions on hand for further use or if you plan to give the blanket to another
person. We the manufacturer cannot assume any liability for injuries or damages to persons or things
that result from failure to follow these instructions. We sincerely hope you enjoy using your new Promed
UBS-2.4. In the following, we would like to familiarise you with this device. Please read through the
operating instructions before using your heating underblanket for the first time.

Please note the following aspects prior to any commissioning:
A. The heating blanket may only be used with the controller supplied.
B. Power requirements for the device: 220 - 240 V~.
C. If there are any problems with the device, please send it to the manufacturer.
D. Only for indoor use.
E. When using an electrical device near children, conscientious
supervision is required.
DANGER!
• Never bring the device into direct contact with water or other liquids.
• Never use the device in the bathtub, shower, pools, saunas or outdoors.
• Do not touch the device with wet hands.
• Only operate the device with the supply voltage specified.
• The device must not be used outdoors.
• This device uses supply voltage; therefore, the same safety regulations as for any other electrical device
apply.
• Prior to any commissioning of the device, check that all components of the device are in perfect condition.
In the event of a defect or a malfunction, immediately switch off the device and disconnect the power plug
from power supply system.
• Any repair work may only be carried out by the manufacturer. Never open the device. The individual
components of this device must not be disassembled, repaired or modified.
• Only use the device in dry rooms and if your body is dry.
• Never operate the device next to other sources of heat.
• Never carry or pull the device by holding it on the power cable. Disconnect the cable from the power socket
using the plug and never using the cable.
• Do not pull the power cable over sharp edges or pinch it, do not let it hang down and do not place or
suspended it over hot objects (e.g. hobs) or open flames and protect it against heat or oil.
• Only use an extension cable if you previously made sure that it is in a perfect condition.
• If the power cable of the device is damaged, have it immediately replaced by an expert.
• Never use the device after the power cable has been damaged, the device has been dropped or come into
contact with water.
• Remove the power plug from the power socket if the device is not in use.
• The device must not be used by infants and small children (0-3 years).
• This device can be used by children from the age of eight and people with limited physical, sensory
or intellectual capabilities or with lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or have received extensive instructions in how to use the device by this person in
such a manner that they understand the associated risks.
• Children must not play with the device.
• Cleaning and maintenance work must not be carried out by children without supervision.
• An electrical device is not a toy. Children do not realise the risks which may result from using
electrical devices. Therefore use and store the device out of reach of children.
• Disconnect the device from the power supply system before cleaning it. During cleaning, make sure that no
liquids come into contact with the switch and that the device is only used in an absolutely dry condition.
• Do not insert any needles or pointed objects into the device.
• The appliance should not be used on a adjustable bed. If the appliance is used on an adjestable bed,
check that the blanket and the cord do not become trapped or rucked, for example in hingles.

WARNING!
• Never leave the device unattended if children or people unskilled in operating this device are around.
• Only use the device for applications described in these instructions for use.
• Never allow children to play with the packaging material, as there is a risk of suffocation.
• Do not place or use the device on hot surfaces or next to open gas flames to ensure that the housing does
not melt.
• Do not store the device next to a washbasin or bathtub, since there is the risk that it can fall or be drawn into
the washbasin or bathtub.
• Please consult a doctor before using the device if you suffer from medical conditions such as varicose veins,
thrombosis etc.
• Never use the device on open wounds, burns, haematomata, swellings or similar injuries.
• Immediately stop using the device if it feels uncomfortable for you. Heat-sensitive people in particular should
use the device carefully and only for short periods of application.
• Under certain circumstances, the electric and magnetic fields emitted by the device could disrupt normal
pacemaker operation. These fields, however, are under limit values. Please ask your doctor and the
manufacturer of your pacemaker before using this device.

• Never use the device on animals.
Attention!
• In order to ensure the proper functioning of the control element, do not place it on or underneath the device.
• Never use the heating underblanket when it is folded, wrinkled or balled up.
• The device must not be used by small children from the age of three unless the settings have been preset by
a parent or legal guardian or unless the child has been sufficiently trained and instructed in how to operate
the device.
• Do not use the device when it is wet.
• The device must not be used by helpless and defenceless people or people insensitive to heat.
• Children under the age of three must not use the device due to their inability to react to overheating.
• The electronic components in the switch may heat up while using the device. Therefore, the switch must
remain uncovered during use and must not be placed on top of the device.
• Allow the device to cool down before folding it and putting it away. Please ensure that the heating under-
blanket is not wrinkled and that no items are stored on top of it.

Please ensure that none of the contents are missing from the box before using the device for the first time.
Only use original parts!
Do not use any other control!
Please ensure that the heating underblanket is not wedged in during use, rather that it is lying
completely flat and free of wrinkles.
Positioning the heating underblanket
1. Lay the underblanket out on the bed and smooth it out over the mattress. There are four elastic bands sewn
onto the underblanket at the corners. Use these to secure the underblanket at the corners of the mattress.
2. Ensure that the heating underblanket is lying taut on the mattress and does not become folded at any time
while being used. Spread a sheet over the underblanket. The warmth of the heating underblanket is best
distributed this way. Always check to make sure that the underblanket is situated correctly before going to
bed. We recommend turning the heating underblanket on 30 minutes before going to bed.
3. Ensure that the heating underblanket is free of wrinkles and that the electric cable is not kinked or twisted and
that the control is not under the mattress. All of these could result in a malfunction of the heating underblanket
as high temperatures are generated, which in turn can trigger the mechanism to protect against overheating.
4. You can secure a fitted sheet over the mattress as usual
Using the heating underblanket
1. Check whether both connectors (control connector (G)) and device connector (H)) are connected to each
other. If they are not, connect them and ensure that they are connected with each other correctly. To operate
the device, plug the power plug (A) into the power socket. The notification „ ” will appear on the display
and disappear again after approx. 1 second. To indicate that the device is still connected to the power
supply, the red bulb in the lower right corner of the display will remain lighted.
2. Press the on / off button (F) to turn the device on.
3. To set the temperature desired, press the temperature button (D). You can set the desired temperature in
10 levels (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, H). To increase the temperature, press the “+” in the upper half of the
temperature button (D). To decrease the temperature, press the “-” in the lower half of the temperature button
(D).
4. To set the operating time desired, press the timer button (E). You can set the desired operating time in 9 levels
(1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9). Here, each level corresponds to an operating time of one hour.
To increase the operating time, press the “+” in the upper half of the timer button (E). To decrease the
operating time, press the “-” in the lower half of the timer button (E). After the operating time has been set,
the display returns to the temperature level selected.
5. The device is programmed so that an operating period of 4 hours and a temperature setting of 4 is pre-set
as standard for when the device is turned on.
6. The device turns off automatically at the end of the selected operating period.
7. In order to turn the device on again after the selected operating period is up, simply press the one / off
button (F).
8. To use the device for extended periods of time, the temperature settings of 1 - 4 are recommended.
Note:
If the device and the control are not connected with each other or not connected with each other correctly,
the letter “E” appears on the display. This notification also appears when the control or the device’s
heating wires are malfunctioning.

9. Automatic turn-off
The device turns off automatically at the end of the selected operating period. This saves energy and also
provides additional assurance that the device is not operating without supervision.
10. After use, please disconnect the power plug from the power socket.

• Be sure to unplug the device from the socket before cleaning the device!
• The device can be washed by hand or in the washing machine at 40° C with mild detergent.
• Do not iron the device.
• Do not use a detergent that contains bleach.
• Do not dry clean the device
• The device should not be dried in a dryer.
• Do not use any form of high-pressure cleaner.
• Be sure to avoid allowing the control to come into contact with liquids as these can result in damage to the
control.
• Never use the device when it is wet or damp. Do not turn on the device while it is still drying.
• Allow the device to air dry. Do not use any means to hold the device in place while drying (e.g. clothes
pins) as this could damage the wires and/or cables inside the underblanket.
Storage and regular inspection
• Do not ball up the device. Carefully fold the product to store it.
• Store the device in a dry place when it is not in use.
• Allow the device to cool before you fold or roll it up.
• Inspect the device and the power cable for possible signs of wear or damage at regular intervals.
• Please do not use any chemical moth protection.
• Do not place any heavy objects on the device during storage, as this may damage the electrical wiring.
• In the event of malfunction or defects, send the device to the manufacturer.

Power tools, accessories, and packaging should be recycled in an environmentally suitable manner.
Only for EU countries:
Do not dispose of power tools with the domestic waste! In accordance with the European Directive
2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its implementation into national law,
nonfunctioning power tools must be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally suitable
manner.
This symbol indicates that disposal of this product in the domestic waste is not permitted within the EU. Waste
devices contain valuable recyclable material that should be recycled. Recycling also prevents uncontrolled
waste disposal from damaging the environment and human health. Therefore, please dispose of all waste
devices in the appropriate collection systems or send the device to the place where you bought the device
for disposal. They will then recycle the device.
This product was produced with the utmost care and was thoroughly tested before it left the factory. Therefore,
we provide a warranty period of 24 months from the date of purchase for this product. Promed products
conform to their description and the relevant specifications; it is your responsibility to ensure that the product
which you have purchased is designed for your intended use.
• In the event of material defects and/or manufacturing errors which appear during proper use and are
detected during the warranty period, we will replace all defective parts of the product free of charge within
the warranty period, including the labour costs for warranty repairs.
• The warranty does not cover:
• Normal wear on the product
• Defects which were caused during transportation or storage of the product
• Defects or damage which were caused through improper use or inadequate maintenance
• Damage resulting from disregarding the notes in the operating manual
• Damage resulting from modifications to the product which were not carried out by Promed.
• Damage caused by sharp objects or as a result of torsion, compression, being dropped, an abnormal
impact or other actions which are beyond Promed’s reasonable control.
• Parts which are subject to wear (e.g. moving parts such as ball bearings, etc., fasteners, etc.) are
generally excluded from the warranty.
• A claim under the warranty is not enforceable if:
• the product is not sent back in its original packaging or in adequately secure packaging;
• it has been modified or repaired by a person or company other than Promed or one of Promed’s
authorised dealers;
• the product has been repaired using parts which are not approved by Promed;
• the serial number / LOT number of the product has been removed, deleted, changed or made
illegible.
• For reasons of hygiene, any products which have been exposed to direct contact with a body or with
bodily fluids (e.g. blood) must be packaged in an additional plastic bag before they are sent back. In
this case, a specific note of this situation must be made in the package or in the accompanying documents.
• For components or products which are replaced during the warranty period, a warranty is only provided for
the remainder of the original warranty period; provided that the product or part replacement was carried
out by Promed or one of Promed’s authorised dealers.
• The warranty period begins on the day of purchase. Claims under the warranty must be established within
the warranty period. Complaints arising after the expiry of the warranty period cannot be considered.
• Under these warranty conditions, the warranty shall only apply if the date of purchase can be proven
by means of a sales receipt or similar.
• We reserve the right to make technical and visual changes as well as changes to the features.

• This warranty is only valid and enforceable in the country in which it was purchased by the original buyer,
provided that it was Promed’s intention that the product should be offered for sale in this country. This
warranty is also enforceable in any country within the European Economic Area in which Promed has
an authorised importer or sales partner. Depending on each country, specific and differing warranties and
guarantees may be applicable owing to the particular applicable legislation. These legal provisions are
neither excluded nor limited by these warranty conditions. To the extent permissible under national law, the
warranty period shall not be extended, renewed or otherwise affected by any subsequent resale, repair or
replacement of the product.
• The provisions of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply.
• Our warranty conditions do not affect the seller’s legal warranty obligation.
• To the fullest extent possible under the applicable mandatory legislation, these warranty conditions
constitute your sole and exclusive legal remedy and shall apply in place of any other express or implied
warranty conditions. Promed is not liable for any unusual, incidental, punitive or consequential damages
including, but not limited to loss of profits, loss of use, loss of revenue, costs of replacement equipment or
facilities, third party insurance claims, and damage to property which are the result of the purchase or use
of the product or occur owing to a breach of warranty, a breach of contract, negligence, product defects
or any other legal or statutory circumstances, even though Promed was aware of the possibility of such
damages. Promed is not liable for any delay in warranty claims.
• Promed cannot be held liable for any possible translation errors.

• Laissez refroidir l’appareil avant de le plier pour le stocker. Assurez-vous que le surmatelas chauffant ne
soit pas comprimé et qu’aucun objet ne soit stocké sur lui.

Veillez à ce que le surmatelas chauffant ne soit pas coincé, qu‘il soit entièrement lisse et sans plis
lorsqu‘il est utilisé.
Mise en place du surmatelas chauffant
1. Étendez le surmatelas chauffant à plat sur le matelas. Le surmatelas chauffant est équipé de quatre
élastiques cousus. Utilisez ces élastiques pour tendre le surmatelas chauffant au niveau des coins du
matelas.
2. Veillez à ce que le surmatelas chauffant repose entièrement lisse dans le sens longitudinal et transversal
et qu’aucun pli n’apparaisse pendant toute la durée d’utilisation. Étendez un drap dessus afin que
le surmatelas chauffant puisse émettre sa chaleur de manière optimale. Vérifiez à chaque fois le
positionnement correct avant d’aller au lit ! Nous recommandons d’allumer le surmatelas chauffant 30
minutes avant d’aller au lit.
3. Veillez à ce que le surmatelas chauffant ne fasse pas de plis, que les câbles électriques ne soient pas pliés
ou courbés et que l’unité de commande ne se trouve pas sous le matelas. Cela pourrait provoquer un
dysfonctionnement du surmatelas chauffant en provoquant des températures élevées qui pourraient à leur
tour déclencher la protection contre la surchauffe de l’appareil.
4. Vous pouvez accrocher votre drap-housse sous le matelas comme à votre habitude.
Utilisation du surmatelas chauffant
1. Vérifiez si les deux fiches (fiche de l’unité de commande (G) et fiche de l’appareil (H)) sont bien reliées entre
elles. Si cela n’est pas le cas, connectez-les ensemble et assurez-vous qu’elles soient reliées correctement
l’une à l’autre. Pour actionner l’appareil, branchez la fiche secteur (A) dans la prise secteur. L’écran affiche
alors “ “ qui disparaît après 1 seconde environ. Le point rouge en bas à droite de l’écran indique que
l’appareil est bien alimenté en courant.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton On / Off (F) pour allumer l’appareil.
3. Pour régler la température souhaitée, appuyez sur le bouton de température (D). Vous pouvez régler
la température souhaitée sur 10 niveaux (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, H). Pour augmenter la température,
appuyez sur « + » sur la moitié supérieure du bouton de température (D). Pour diminuer la température,
appuyez sur « - » sur la moitié inférieure du bouton de température (D).
4. Pour régler la durée d’utilisation souhaitée, appuyez sur le bouton minuteur (E). Vous pouvez régler la
durée d’utilisation souhaitée sur 9 niveaux (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9). Ici, chaque niveau correspond à une
heure d’utilisation.
Pour augmenter la durée d’utilisation, appuyez sur « + » sur la moitié supérieure du bouton minuteur (E).
Pour diminuer la durée d’utilisation, appuyez sur « - » sur la moitié inférieure du bouton minuteur (E). Une
fois la durée d’utilisation réglée, l’écran affiche de nouveau le niveau de température sélectionné.
5. L’appareil est programmé de sorte à ce que le préréglage standard soit de 4 heures de fonctionnement à
un niveau de température 4 à l’allumage.
6. L’appareil s’arrête automatiquement après écoulement de la durée d’utilisation choisie.
7. Pour redémarrer l’appareil après écoulement de la durée d’utilisation choisie, appuyez simplement sur le
bouton On / Off (F).
8. Il est recommandé d’utiliser les niveaux de température 1 - 4 si l’appareil est utilisé en continu.
Remarque :
Si l’appareil et l’unité de commande ne sont pas reliés correctement l’un à l’autre, l’écran affiche la lettre
«E». Ce message apparaît également quand l’unité de commande ou les câbles chauffants de l’appareil
sont défectueux.

9. Arrêt automatique
L’appareil s’arrête automatiquement après écoulement de la durée d’utilisation choisie. Ceci permet
d’économiser de l’énergie et constitue une sécurité supplémentaire afin que l’appareil ne fonctionne pas
sans surveillance.
10. Veuillez débrancher la fiche secteur de la prise après utilisation.

• Avant de nettoyer l’appareil, débranchez impérativement la fiche d’alimentation de la prise.
• L’appareil peut être lavé à la main ou dans la machine à laver avec une lessive pour
linge délicat à 40° C
• Ne pas repasser l’appareil
• Veuillez n’utiliser aucun produit nettoyant contenant du chlore.
• L’appareil ne doit pas être nettoyé à sec.
• L’appareil ne doit pas être séché au sèche-linge.
• N’utilisez aucun nettoyeur à haute pression
• Assurez-vous que l’unité de commande ne soit pas en contact avec des liquides. Les liquide pourraient
provoquer des dommages.
• N’utilisez jamais l’appareil pendant qu’il est humide ou mouillé. L’appareil ne doit pas être allumé pen-
dant son séchage.
• Laissez sécher l’appareil à l’air. N’utilisez aucune aide (par ex. des pinces à linge) pour le suspendre et le
faire sécher. Cela pourrait endommager les câbles situés à l’intérieur.
Stockage et inspection régulière
• Ne pas chiffonner l’appareil. Pliez soigneusement l’appareil avant de le stocker.
• Conservez l’appareil dans un endroit sec lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé.
• Laissez refroidir l’appareil avant de le plier ou de le rouler.
• Procédez régulièrement à une inspection de l’appareil et du câble d’alimentation afin de détecter tout
signe d’usure ou d’endommagement.
• N’utilisez aucun produit antimite chimique.
• Ne placez aucun objet lourd sur l’appareil pendant son stockage sous peine d’endommager les câbles
électriques.
• En cas de dysfonctionnement ou de défaut, renvoyez l’appareil au fabricant.
