Bitte lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal
verwenden.
Vielen Dank für den Kauf des Promed NRP-5.4 Nacken-Rückenheizkissens. Mit dem behaglichen, elek-
tronischen Nacken-Rückenheizkissen sind Sie in der Lage, Ihren Körper oder bestimmte einzelne Körperre-
gionen angenehm zu wärmen. Das Promed NRP-5.4 Nacken-Rückenheizkissen passt sich ihrem Rücken
an und der praktische Gurt hält es an Ort und Stelle. Kleine Taschen mit Keramikperlen, die in das Heizkissen
eingebettet sind, sorgen für eine gleichmäßige Wärmeverteilung. Die im Nackenbereich integrierten Heizspi-
ralen sorgen für ein rundum wohliges Wärmegefühl. Mit vier Temperatureinstellungen können Sie die Wärme
genau nach ihrem Bedarf einstellen. Die Verwendung dieses Nacken-Rückenheizkissens unterstützt die Durch-
blutung und somit die Entspannung der angespannten Muskelbereiche und steigert das allgemeine Wohlbe-
finden. Genießen Sie die kuschelige Wärme für entspannende Momente wann immer Sie möchten, z.B. auf
der Couch. Das Gerät ist kein Medizinprodukt und somit ausschließlich für den Hausgebrauch und nicht für
gewerbliche Anwendungen oder den Einsatz in Krankenhäusern oder Arztpraxen gedacht. Um alle Vorteile
Ihres Nacken-Rückenheizkissens nutzen zu können, lesen Sie bitte diese Anleitung gründlich und beachten Sie
die Hinweise zur Pflege und Sicherheit. Dies ermöglicht Ihnen das Nacken-Rückenheizkissen für eine lange
Zeit genießen zu können. Bitte bewahren Sie diese Anleitung für die weitere Verwendung oder, falls Sie das
Nacken-Rückenheizkissen einer anderen Person geben wollen, sorgfältig auf.
Wir, der Hersteller, können in keiner Weise haftbar gemacht werden für Verletzungen bzw. Schäden an Per-
sonen oder Sachen, die sich aus Nichtbeachten dieser Anleitung ergeben. Wir wünschen Ihnen mit Ihrem
neuen Promed NRP-5.4 viel Freude. Im Folgenden möchten wir Sie mit dem Gerät vertraut machen. Lesen
Sie bitte vor der ersten Anwendung die Gebrauchsanweisung. Dieses Produkt ist mit Sicherheitsfunktionen aus-
gestattet. Lesen Sie die Sicherheitshinweise jedoch sorgfältig und verwenden Sie das Produkt nur wie in dieser

Vor Inbetriebnahme bitte beachten:
A. Das Nacken-Rückenheizkissen darf nur mit dem mitgelieferten Bedienteil verwendet werden.
B. Spannungsversorgung des Heizkissens: 220 - 240 VAC.
C. Falls Probleme am Heizkissen auftreten, senden Sie dieses bitte zum Hersteller.
D. Nur für den Gebrauch in Innenräumen.
E. Bei Verwendung eines Elektrogerätes in der Nähe von Kindern ist eine gewissenhafte
Beaufsichtigung erforderlich.
GEFAHR!
• Bringen Sie das Gerät nie mit Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten direkt in Kontakt.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals in der Badewanne, Dusche, Pools, Saunen oder im Freien.
• Berühren Sie das Gerät nicht mit nassen Händen.
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur mit der vorgegebenen Netzspannung.
• Das Gerät darf nicht im Freien benutzt werden.
• Dieses Gerät verwendet Netzspannung, deshalb gelten die gleichen Sicherheitsbestimmungen, wie für
jedes andere elektrische Gerät.
• Kontrollieren Sie vor jeder Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes, dass alle Komponenten des Gerätes in
einwandfreiem Zustand sind. Im Falle eines Defekts oder einer Fehlfunktion, schalten Sie das Gerät sofort
aus und ziehen den Netzstecker vom Stromnetz.
• Reparaturen dürfen ausschließlich vom Hersteller durchgeführt werden. Öffnen Sie niemals das Gerät. Die
einzelnen Komponenten dieses Gerätes dürfen nicht zerlegt, repariert oder modifiziert werden.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in trockenen Räumen und mit einem trockenen Körper.
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe von anderen Wärmequellen.
• Das Gerät niemals am Netzkabel tragen oder ziehen. Ziehen Sie das Kabel am Stecker und niemals am
Kabel aus der Steckdose.
• Das Netzkabel nicht über scharfe Kanten ziehen oder einklemmen, nicht herunterhängen lassen und nicht
über heiße Gegenstände (z.B. Herdplatten) oder offene Flammen legen oder hängen, sowie vor Hitze oder
Öl schützen.
• Verlängerungskabel nur dann verwenden, wenn Sie sich vorher von deren einwandfreiem Zustand
überzeugt haben.
• Sollte das Netzkabel des Gerätes einmal beschädigt sein, lassen Sie es umgehend durch einen Fachmann
ersetzen.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals, nachdem das Stromkabel beschädigt wurde, das Gerät heruntergefallen
ist oder es mit Wasser in Kontakt kam.
• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt wird.
• Das Gerät darf nicht von Kleinkindern (0-3 Jahre) benutzt werden.
• Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und von Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen
oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangelnder Erfahrung und Wissen verwendet werden, wenn sie durch
eine für Ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt werden oder von dieser Person eine ausführliche
Anleitung zur Benutzung des Gerätes in der Art und Weise erhalten haben, dass Sie die damit verbundenen
Gefahren verstehen.
• Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
• Reinigungs- und Instandhaltungsarbeiten dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Aufsicht durchgeführt werden.
• Ein Elektrogerät ist kein Kinderspielzeug. Kinder erkennen die Gefahren nicht, die beim Umgang
mit Elektrogeräten entstehen können. Das Gerät deshalb außer Reichweite von Kindern benutzen und
aufbewahren.
• Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Stromnetz, bevor Sie es reinigen. Stellen Sie während der Reinigung sicher,
dass keine Flüssigkeiten mit dem Schalter in Kontakt kommen und dass das Gerät nur in einem absolut
trockenen Zustand verwendet wird.

• Das Gerät ist nicht für den medizinischen Gebrauch in Krankenhäusern vorgesehen.
WARNUNG!
• Lassen Sie das Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt, wenn sich Kinder oder ungeübte Personen im Umgang mit
diesem Gerät in der Nähe befinden.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur für Anwendungen, wie in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung beschrieben.
• Lassen Sie Kinder nie mit dem Verpackungsmaterial spielen, es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.
• Das Gerät nicht auf heiße Oberflächen oder in Nähe von offenen Gasflammen abstellen oder benutzen,
damit das Gehäuse nicht schmilzt.
• Bewahren Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe eines Waschbeckens oder einer Badewanne auf, da die Gefahr
besteht, dass es ins Waschbecken oder die Badewanne fallen oder gezogen werden kann.
• Bitte konsultieren Sie vor der Verwendung des Gerätes einen Arzt, wenn Sie an einer Erkrankung wie,
z.B. Krampfadern, Thrombose, Diabetes, etc., leiden
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals mit offenen Wunden, Verbrennungen, Hämatomen, Schwellungen oder
ähnlichen Verletzungen.
• Beenden Sie die Anwendung des Gerätes umgehend, wenn diese sich unangenehm für Sie anfühlt.
Wärmeempfindliche Personen sollten insbesondere das Gerät mit Vorsicht benutzen und nur kurze
Anwendungszeiten verwenden.
• Die vom Gerät ausgehenden elektrischen und magnetischen Felder können unter Umständen die
Funktion eines Herzschrittmachers stören. Sie liegen jedoch unter den Grenzwerten. Bitte befragen
Sie Ihren Arzt und den Hersteller Ihres Herzschrittmachers vor der Verwendung der Heizkissens.

• Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals an Tieren.
ACHTUNG!
• Das Gerät darf nur mit dem mitgelieferten Bedienelement (HB05E-4) betrieben werden.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals, wenn es zusammengeklappt, zerknittert oder zusammen-
geschoben ist.
• Das Gerät darf nicht von jungen Kindern im Alter über drei Jahre benutzt werden, es sei denn, die
Regel- und/oder Steuereinheiten sind von einem Elternteil oder einer Aufsichtsperson voreingestellt worden
oder das Kind ist ausreichend eingewiesen worden, wie es die Regel- und/oder Steuereinheiten sicher
betreibt.
• Nicht verwenden, wenn das Gerät nass ist.
• Das Gerät darf nicht von hilflosen Personen oder Personen, die unempfindlich gegen Hitze sind, verwendet
werden.
• Kinder unter drei Jahren dürfen das Gerät, aufgrund ihrer Unfähigkeit auf eine Überhitzung zu reagieren,
nicht verwenden.
• Die elektronischen Bauteile im Schalter können sich beim Gebrauch des Gerätes erwärmen. Der
Schalter darf deshalb nicht abgedeckt werden, oder auf dem Gerät liegen, wenn es betrieben wird.
• Zum Lagern des Gerätes lassen Sie es vor dem Falten abkühlen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät
nicht knittert und, dass keine Gegenstände auf ihm gelagert werden.

Bitte überprüfen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme die Vollständigkeit der Lieferung.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Heizkissen nicht eingeklemmt wird.
Verwenden Sie nur Originalteile!
Verwenden Sie kein anderes Bedienteil!
Achtung
Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass das Heizkissen locker anliegt, d.h. dass während der Anwendung etwas
Luft zwischen dem Heizkissen und Ihrer Haut zirkulieren kann.
Verhindern Sie unbedingt einen Wärmestau.
WARNUNG – Verbrennungsgefahr
• Längerer Gebrauch bei höchster Einstellung kann zu Verbrennungen führen.
• Um Verbrennungen der Haut zu vermeiden, testen Sie die Temperatur vor dem Gebrauch mit dem
Handrücken (nicht mit der Handfläche, da diese weniger empfindlich ist als andere Körperteile).
• Verwenden Sie das Heizkissen nicht direkt auf Ihrer Haut. Verwenden Sie es nur auf Kleidung.
Hinweis:
Ein leichter Geruch kann sich beim ersten Erwärmen entwickeln. Das ist harmlos, sorgen Sie ggf. für eine
ausreichende Belüftung.
1. Entfernen Sie die Schutzfolien vom Display der Steuereinheit.
2. Kontrollieren Sie ob die beiden Stecker (Stecker des Bedienteils (G) und
Buchse des Nacken-Rückenheizkissens (H)) miteinander verbunden sind. Sollte
dies nicht der Fall sein, stellen Sie bitte sicher, dass diese korrekt miteinander
verbunden sind.
3. Legen Sie das Heizkissen auf Ihren Rücken und den Kragen über die Schultern, wobei der
Stecker des Bedienteils (G) nach außen zeigt. Befestigen Sie die Druckknöpfe (J) und den
Hüftgurt (I) so dass das Heizkissen in Position bleibt.
4. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker (A) in die Netzsteckdose. Die Ein/Aus LED (D) leuchtet auf
und im Display (E) erscheint die Anzeige „8”, beide erlöschen nach ca. 1 Sekunde.
5. Um das Nacken-Rückenheizkissen einzuschalten, drücken Sie die Ein/Aus Taste (F) im
Display. Erscheint „1“.
6. Um die gewünschte Temperatur einzustellen drücken Sie die Temperaturtaste (E). Sie können
die gewünschte Temperatur in 4 Stufen) einstellen. Um die Temperatur zu erhöhen, drücken Sie erneut die
Temperaturtaste (E). Wenn Sie die höchste Stufe „4“ erreicht haben beginnen die Einstellungen durch
erneutes Drücken wieder bei „1“. Nach einigen Minuten sollte das Heizkissen seine maximale Temperatur
erreicht haben. Jetzt können Sie auf eine niedrigere Heizstufe zurückschalten.
Hinweis:
Das Heizkissen ist mit einem Sicherheitsregler ausgestattet, der die Wärme reguliert und verhindert, dass
das das Gerät zu heiß wird.
7. Wenn Sie das Heizkissen nicht mehr verwenden möchten, drücken Sie die Ein/Aus Taste (F), um das
Heizkissen auszuschalten, und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. Ziehen Sie immer am
Stecker, nicht am Netzkabel.
Automatische Abschaltung
Nach 90 Minuten schaltet sich das Heizkissen automatisch aus. Die Ein/Aus LED (D) leuchtet auf.
• Schalten Sie das Heizkissen mit dem Ein/Aus Taste (F) aus und wieder ein.

GEFAHR - Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Schlag
• Vor dem Reinigen des Heizkissens unbedingt den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen und das Heizkissen
vom Bedienteil trennen.
• Weder das Bedienteil noch das Netzkabel dürfen mit Feuchtigkeit, Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten in
Berührung kommen, da sonst die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages besteht. Außerdem darf das Heizkissen
selbst während des Gebrauchs nicht feucht sein. Verwenden Sie es nur, wenn es trocken, niemals wenn es
feucht ist!
• Das Heizkissen kann in der Waschmaschine mit Feinwaschmittel bei 30 °C gewaschen werden.
• Das Heizkissen nicht bügeln.
• Das Heizkissen nicht bleichen.
• Das Heizkissen nicht chemisch reinigen.
• Das Heizkissen nicht trocken schleudern.
• Verwenden Sie keine Hochdruckreiniger
• Lassen Sie das Heizkissen nach dem Gebrauch vollständig abkühlen, bevor
Sie es reinigen.
1. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
2. Ziehen Sie den Stecker des Bedienteils aus der Buchse des Heizkissens.
3. Waschen Sie das Heizkissen bei 30 °C im Schongang. Wenn Sie es von Hand
waschen, biegen Sie es dabei nicht und wringen Sie das Heizkissen nicht aus.
4. Legen Sie das Heizkissen in einer warmen Umgebung flach aus und lassen
Sie es an der Luft vollständig trocknen. Verwenden Sie keine Hilfsmittel (z.B. Wäscheklammern) um es zum
Trocknen aufzuhängen. Dies könnte die innenliegenden Kabel beschädigen

• Warten Sie nach dem Waschen, bis das Heizkissen vollständig getrocknet ist, bevor Sie den Netzstecker
einstecken und es an die Stromversorgung anschließen. Niemals feucht benutzen!
• Schalten Sie das Heizkissen niemals zum Trocknen ein.

VORSICHT – Materialschaden
• Nicht an einem Heizkörper, in der Sonne oder durch irgendeine andere Wärmequelle trocknen.
• Nicht Bügeln.
• Wringen Sie es nicht aus oder verformen Sie es nicht.
• Wenn das Heizkissen und die Anschlussbuchse vollständig getrocknet sind, stecken Sie den Anschlussstecker
des Bedienteil wieder in die Buchse des Heizkissens.
Lagerung und regelmäßige Inspektion
• Das Nacken-Rückenheizkissen nicht zerknittern. Falten Sie das Produkt sorgfältig für die Lagerung.
• Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen Ort auf, wenn es nicht in Gebrauch ist.
• Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen, bevor Sie es falten oder rollen.
• Das Gerät ist häufig dahingehend zu prüfen, ob es Anzeichen von Abnutzung oder Beschädigung zeigt.
Falls solche Anzeichen vorhanden sind oder falls das Gerät unsachgemäß gebraucht wurde oder das Gerät
nicht funktioniert, muss es vor erneutem Gebrauch zum Händler zurückgegeben werden.
• Verwenden Sie keinen chemischen Mottenschutz.
• Legen Sie während der Lagerung keine schweren Gegenstände auf das Gerät, dies könnte die elektrischen
Leitungen beschädigen.
• Im Falle von Fehlfunktionen oder Defekten, senden Sie das Gerät an den Hersteller.
Elektrowerkzeuge, Zubehör und Verpackungen sollen einer umweltgerechten Wiederverwertung zugeführt
werden.
Nur für EU-Länder:
Werfen Sie Elektrowerkzeuge nicht in den Hausmüll! Gemäß der Europäischen Richtlinie
2012/19/EU über Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte und ihrer Umsetzung in nationales Recht
müssen nicht mehr gebrauchsfähige Elektrowerkzeuge getrennt gesammelt und einer umweltgerechten
Wiederverwertung zugeführt werden.
Innerhalb der EU weist dieses Symbol darauf hin, dass dieses Produkt nicht über den Hausmüll entsorgt werden
darf. Altgeräte enthalten wertvolle recyclingfähige Materialien, die einer Wiederverwertung zugeführt werden
sollten, um der Umwelt bzw. der menschlichen Gesundheit nicht durch unkontrollierte Müllbeseitigung zu schaden.
Bitte entsorgen Sie Altgeräte deshalb über geeignete Sammelsysteme oder senden Sie das Gerät zur Entsorgung
an die Stelle, bei der Sie es gekauft haben. Diese wird dann das Gerät der stofflichen Verwertung zuführen.
Dieses Produkt wurde mit aller Sorgfalt hergestellt und vor Verlassen des Werkes eingehend geprüft. Deshalb
leisten wir auf dieses Produkt eine Garantie von 24 Monaten ab Kaufdatum. Promed Produkte entsprechen
ihrer Beschreibung und den jeweiligen Spezifikationen; es obliegt Ihrer Verantwortlichkeit, sicher zu stellen, dass
die Produkte, die Sie kaufen, für die von Ihnen beabsichtigte Nutzung ausgelegt sind.
• Bei nachweisbaren Material- und/oder Herstellerfehlern, die bei vorschriftsmäßigem Gebrauch auftreten
und die während der Garantiezeit erkannt werden, ersetzen wir innerhalb der Garantiezeit kostenlos
sämtliche mangelhaften Teile des Produktes, inklusive des Lohnkostenanteils der Garantiereparaturen.
•Die Garantie umfasst nicht:
• den normalen Verschleiß des Produktes. Mängel, die durch den Transport oder die Lagerung des
Produktes verursacht werden. Mängel oder Beschädigungen, die durch unvorschriftsmäßige
Verwendung oder mangelhafte Wartung verursacht werden. Schäden auf Grund der Nichtbeachtung
der Hinweise in der Bedienungsanleitung. Schäden auf Grund von Modifikationen des Produktes, die
nicht von Promed durchgeführt wurden.

PFLEGEHINWEISE
ENTSORGUNG
GARANTIEBEDINGUNGEN

• Beschädigungen durch scharfe Gegenstände, in Folge von Torsion, Stauchung, Fall, eines anormalen
Stoßes oder sonstiger Handlungen, die außerhalb der angemessenen Kontrolle von Promed liegen.
• Verschleißteile (z.B. bewegliche Teile wie Kugellager etc., Verschlüsse) sind generell von der Garantie
ausgeschlossen.
• Ein Garantieanspruch ist nicht durchsetzbar, wenn:
das Produkt nicht in seiner Originalverpackung oder einer adäquaten sicheren Verpackung zurück gesandt
wird; es durch eine andere Person oder ein Unternehmen, ausgenommen Promed oder eines von Promed
autorisierten Händlers, modifiziert oder repariert wurde; das Produkt mit nicht von Promed genehmigten
Ersatzteilen repariert wurde; die Seriennummer / LOT-Nummer des Produkts entfernt, gelöscht, geändert
oder unleserlich gemacht wurde.
• Aus hygienischen Gründen müssen Produkte, die einem direkten Körperkontakt bzw. einem Kontakt mit
Körperflüssigkeiten (z.B. Blut) ausgesetzt sind, vor der Rücksendung in einen extra Kunststoffbeutel verpackt
werden. In diesen Fällen muss in dem Paket bzw. in den Begleitpapieren ein spezieller Hinweis auf diesen
Sachstand gegeben werden.
• Für während der Garantiezeit instandgesetzte Komponenten oder ausgetauschte Produkte wird die Garantie

Thank you for choosing the Promed NRP-5.4 back and neck heating pad. With the comfortable elec-
tronic back and neck heating pad, you can pleasantly warm your body or specific individual regions
of your body. The Promed NRP-5.4 back and neck heating pad adapts to your back and the com-
fortable belt keeps it in place. Small pockets with ceramic pearls, which are embedded in the heating
pad, ensure an even heat distribution. The heating coils integrated in the neck area ensure a completely
pleasant sensation of warmth. Thanks to the four temperature settings, you can set the temperature to
your individual requirements. The use of this neck and back heating pad promotes the blood flow and
thus the relaxation of the tensioned muscle areas and improves the general well-being. You can relax
and enjoy its comforting heat whenever you want, for example on your couch. The device is not classi-
fied as medical product and thus only intended for domestic use and not suitable for commercial appli-
cations or for use in hospitals or doctor’s surgeries. To enjoy all benefits of your neck and back heating
pad, please thoroughly read these instructions and observe the care and safety instructions. This will en-
able you to enjoy your heating pad for a longer period of time. Please keep this manual in a safe place

Please note the following aspects prior to any commissioning:
A. The neck-and-back heating pad may only be used with the controller supplied.
B. Voltage supply of the heating pad: 220 - 240 VAC.
C. If any problems with the heating pad occur, please return it to the manufacturer.
D. Only for indoor use.
E. When using an electrical device near children, conscientious
supervision is required.
DANGER!
• Never bring the device into direct contact with water or other liquids.
• Never use the device in the bathtub, shower, pools, saunas or outdoors.
• Do not touch the device with wet hands.
• Only operate the device with the supply voltage specified.
• The device must not be used outdoors.
• This device uses supply voltage; therefore, the same safety regulations as for any other electrical device

• Prior to any commissioning of the device, check that all components of the device are in perfect condition.
In the event of a defect or a malfunction, immediately switch off the device and disconnect the power plug
from power supply system.
• Any repair work may only be carried out by the manufacturer. Never open the device. The individual
components of this device must not be disassembled, repaired or modified.
• Only use the device in dry rooms and if your body is dry.
• Never operate the device next to other sources of heat.
• Never carry or pull the device by holding it on the power cable. Disconnect the cable from the power socket
using the plug and never using the cable.
• Do not pull the power cable over sharp edges or pinch it, do not let it hang down and do not place or
suspended it over hot objects (e.g. hobs) or open flames and protect it against heat or oil.
• Only use an extension cable if you previously made sure that it is in a perfect condition.
• If the power cable of the device is damaged, have it immediately replaced by an expert.
• Never use the device after the power cable has been damaged, the device has been dropped or come into
contact with water.
• Remove the power plug from the power socket if the device is not in use.
• The device must not be used by infants and small children (0-3 years).
• This device can be used by children from the age of eight and people with limited physical, sensory
or intellectual capabilities or with lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or have received extensive instructions in how to use the device by this person in
such a manner that they understand the associated risks.
• Children must not play with the device.
• Cleaning and maintenance work must not be carried out by children without supervision.
• An electrical device is not a toy. Children do not realise the risks which may result from using
electrical devices. Therefore use and store the device out of reach of children.

the device.
• Do not use the device when it is wet.
• The device must not be used by helpless and defenceless people or people insensitive to heat.

• The electronic components in the switch might heat up when the device is used. Therefore, the switch
may not be covered or be placed on the device while it is being operated.
• For storing the device, let it cool down before folding it. Ensure that the device does not crease and

Only use original parts!
Do not use any other operating unit!
Caution
Please ensure that the heating pad is attached loosely so that some air can circulate between
the heating pad and your skin.
Prevent heat accumulation at all costs.
WARNING – Risk of burning
• A prolonged use of the device at its highest settings can lead to burn injury
• To prevent burn injury to the skin, test the temperature of the device with the back of your hand before
using it (do not use the palm of your hand since it is less sensitive than other body parts).
• Do not put the heating pad directly onto your skin. Only use it on your clothing.
Note:
A slight smell can develop when heating up the device for the first time. This is harmless. If applicable,
ensure that it is sufficiently ventilated.
1.Remove the protective film from the display of the control unit.
2.Check if both plugs (plug of the operating unit (G) and socket of the neck
and back heating pad (H)) are connected to each other. If this is not the
case, please ensure that they are correctly connected.
3. Put the heating pad on your back and the collar over your shoulders, while the plug
of the operating unit (G) is directed to the outside. Fix the push buttons (J) and the hip
belt (I) so that the heating pad stays in position.
4. Insert the mains plug (A) into the socket. The On/Off LED (D) is illuminated and “8”
appears on the display (E); both go out after approximately 1 second.
5. Press the On/Off button (F) in the display to switch on the neck and back heating pad.
“1” appears.
6. Press the temperature button (E) to set the desired temperature. You can set the desired
temperature in 4 steps). Press the temperature button (E) again to increase the desired temperature.
Once you have achieved the highest level “4”, the settings start again at “1” by pressing it again.
After a few minutes, the heating pad should have reached its maximum temperature. Now you can
switch back to a lower heating level.
Note:
The heating pad is equipped with a safety regulator, which regulates the heat and prevents the device
from getting too hot.
7. If you do no longer wish to use the heating pad, press the On/Off button (F) to switch off the heating
pad and pull the plug out of the socket. Always pull at the plug, not the cable.
Automatic switch-off
After 90 minutes, the heating pad switches off itself. The ON/Off LED (D) is illuminated.
• Activate / deactivate the heating pad with the On/Off button(F).

DANGER - Risk to life due to electric shock
• Before cleaning the heating pad, pull the plug out of the socket and remove the heating pad from the
operating unit.
• Neither the operating unit nor the mains cable may get into contact with humidity, water or other fluids since
there is a risk of electric shock. Additionally, the heating pad itself may not get moist while being used. Only
use it in a dry state and never use it when it is wet!
• The heating pad may be washed in the washing machine at 30 °C with mild detergent.
• Do not iron the heating pad.
• Do not bleach the heating pad.
• Do not dry-clean the heating pad.
• Do not tumble dry the heating pad in a dryer.
• Do not use a high pressure cleaner
• Let the heating pad cool down completely before cleaning it after use.
1. Pull the plug out of the socket.
2. Pull the plug of the operating unit out of the socket of the heating pad.
3. Wash the heating pad at 30 °C in the gentle cleaning cycle. When washing it
manually, do not bend or wring out the heating pad.
4. Let the heating pad air-dry in an unfolded state in a warm environment. Do not
use any aids (e.g. clothespins) to put it up for drying. This could damage the internal cables.
DANGER - Risk to life due to electric shock
• After washing, wait until the heating pad has dried completely before inserting the mains plug and
connecting it to the power supply. Never use the heating pad in a wet state!
• Never switch on the heating pad for drying.

CAUTION – Material damage
• Do not dry on a radiator, in the sun or by means of another source of heat.
• Do not iron.
• Do not wring out or deform the heating pad.
• Once the heating pad and the connection socket have dried completely, reinsert the plug of the
operating unit into the heating pad socket
Storage and regular inspection
• Do not crumple the neck-and-back heating pad. Carefully fold the product to store it.
• Store the device in a dry place when it is not in use.
• Allow the device to cool before you fold or roll it up.
• Examine the appliance frequently for signs of wear or damage. If there are such signs, if the appliance has
been misused or does not work, return it to the supplier before switching it on again.
• Please do not use any chemical moth protection.
• Do not place any heavy objects on the device during storage, as this may damage the electrical wiring.
• In the event of malfunction or defects, send the device to the manufacturer.
Power tools, accessories, and packaging should be recycled in an environmentally suitable manner.
Only for EU countries:
Do not dispose of power tools with the domestic waste! In accordance with the European
Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its implementation into
national law, nonfunctioning power tools must be collected separately and recycled in an
environmentally suitable manner.
This symbol indicates that disposal of this product in the domestic waste is not permitted within the EU. Waste
devices contain valuable recyclable material that should be recycled. Recycling also prevents uncontrolled
waste disposal from damaging the environment and human health. Therefore, please dispose of all waste
devices in the appropriate collection systems or send the device to the place where you bought the device
for disposal. They will then recycle the device.
This product was produced with the utmost care and was thoroughly tested before it left the factory. Therefore,
we provide a warranty period of 24 months from the date of purchase for this product. Promed products
conform to their description and the relevant specifications; it is your responsibility to ensure that the product
which you have purchased is designed for your intended use.
• In the event of material defects and/or manufacturing errors which appear during proper use and are
detected during the warranty period, we will replace all defective parts of the product free of charge within
the warranty period, including the labour costs for warranty repairs.
• The warranty does not cover:
• Normal wear on the product
• Defects which were caused during transportation or storage of the product
• Defects or damage which were caused through improper use or inadequate maintenance
• Damage resulting from disregarding the notes in the operating manual
• Damage resulting from modifications to the product which were not carried out by Promed.
• Damage caused by sharp objects or as a result of torsion, compression, being dropped, an abnormal
impact or other actions which are beyond Promed’s reasonable control.

• Parts which are subject to wear (e.g. moving parts such as ball bearings, etc., fasteners, etc.) are
generally excluded from the warranty.
• A claim under the warranty is not enforceable if:
• the product is not sent back in its original packaging or in adequately secure packaging;
• it has been modified or repaired by a person or company other than Promed or one of Promed’s
authorised dealers;
• the product has been repaired using parts which are not approved by Promed;
• the serial number / LOT number of the product has been removed, deleted, changed or made
illegible.
• For reasons of hygiene, any products which have been exposed to direct contact with a body or with
bodily fluids (e.g. blood) must be packaged in an additional plastic bag before they are sent back. In
this case, a specific note of this situation must be made in the package or in the accompanying documents.
• For components or products which are replaced during the warranty period, a warranty is only provided for
the remainder of the original warranty period; provided that the product or part replacement was carried
out by Promed or one of Promed’s authorised dealers.
• The warranty period begins on the day of purchase. Claims under the warranty must be established within
the warranty period. Complaints arising after the expiry of the warranty period cannot be considered.
• Under these warranty conditions, the warranty shall only apply if the date of purchase can be proven
by means of a sales receipt or similar.
• We reserve the right to make technical and visual changes as well as changes to the features.
• This warranty is only valid and enforceable in the country in which it was purchased by the original buyer,
provided that it was Promed’s intention that the product should be offered for sale in this country. This
warranty is also enforceable in any country within the European Economic Area in which Promed has
an authorised importer or sales partner. Depending on each country, specific and differing warranties and
guarantees may be applicable owing to the particular applicable legislation. These legal provisions are
neither excluded nor limited by these warranty conditions. To the extent permissible under national law, the
warranty period shall not be extended, renewed or otherwise affected by any subsequent resale, repair or
replacement of the product.
• The provisions of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply.
• Our warranty conditions do not affect the seller’s legal warranty obligation.
• To the fullest extent possible under the applicable mandatory legislation, these warranty conditions
constitute your sole and exclusive legal remedy and shall apply in place of any other express or implied
warranty conditions. Promed is not liable for any unusual, incidental, punitive or consequential damages
including, but not limited to loss of profits, loss of use, loss of revenue, costs of replacement equipment or
facilities, third party insurance claims, and damage to property which are the result of the purchase or use
of the product or occur owing to a breach of warranty, a breach of contract, negligence, product defects
or any other legal or statutory circumstances, even though Promed was aware of the possibility of such
damages. Promed is not liable for any delay in warranty claims.
• Promed cannot be held liable for any possible translation errors.

MISE EN SERVICE DE L’APPAREIL
Veuillez vérifier l’intégralité de la livraison avant toute mise en marche.
Assurez-vous que le coussin chauffant n’est pas coincé.
Utilisez uniquement les pièces d’origine !
N’utilisez aucune autre unité de commande !
Attention
Assurez-vous que le coussin chauffant n‘est pas appuyé trop fort, c’est-à-dire qu’une petite
quantité d’air peut circuler entre le coussin chauffant et votre peau pendant l’utilisation.
Empêchez impérativement toute accumulation de chaleur.
AVERTISSEMENT – Risque de brûlure
• L’utilisation de l’appareil au niveau maximal pendant une durée prolongée risque de causer des brûlures.
• Pour éviter toute brûlure de la peau, testez la température avant l’utilisation en posant le coussin chauffant
sur le dos de votre main (et non pas sur la paume de votre main car elle est moins sensible que d’autres
parties du corps).
• N’utilisez pas le coussin chauffant directement sur votre peau. Utilisez-le uniquement sur des vêtements.
Remarque :
Une légère odeur peut se dégager lors de la première chauffe. Cette odeur ne
présente aucun danger. Le cas échéant, assurez une aération suffisante.
1. Retirez les films de protection sur l’écran de l’unité de commande.
2. Vérifiez que les deux fiches (fiche de l’unité de commande (G) et prise femelle
du coussin chauffant pour le dos et la nuque (H)) sont bien raccordées. Si ce
n’est pas le cas, faites en sorte qu’elles soient raccordées correctement.
3. Posez le coussin chauffant sur votre dos et le col sur vos épaules, la fiche de l’unité de
commande (G) devant être dirigée vers l’extérieur. Attachez les boutons (J) et la ceinture
(I) de manière à ce que le coussin chauffant reste en place.
4. Insérez la fiche secteur (A) dans la prise de courant. Le voyant Marche/Arrêt (D) s’allume
et le chiffre « 8 » apparaît à l’écran (E), ils disparaissent ensuite au bout d’une seconde
environ.
5. Pour mettre en marche le coussin chauffant pour le dos et la nuque, appuyez sur la touche
Marche/Arrêt (F) située sur l’écran. Vous voyez un « 1 » apparaître.
6. Pour régler la température souhaitée, appuyez sur la touche Température (E). Vous pouvez régler la
température souhaitée en 4 niveaux). Pour augmenter la température, appuyez une nouvelle fois sur la
touche Température (E). Une fois que vous avez atteint le niveau « 4 », les réglages recommencent à « 1 »
lorsque vous rappuyez sur la touche. Au bout de quelques minutes, le coussin chauffant devrait avoir atteint
sa température maximale. Maintenant, vous pouvez le remettre à un niveau plus bas.
Remarque :
Le coussin chauffant est doté d’un thermostat qui régule la chaleur et empêche l’appareil de devenir trop
chaud.
7. Si vous voulez arrêter d’utiliser le coussin chauffant, appuyez sur la touche Marche/Arrêt (F) afin de mettre
l’appareil à l’arrêt puis débranchez-le de la prise de courant. Ne tirez jamais sur le câble, débranchez
toujours l’appareil en tenant la fiche.
Arrêt automatique
Après 90 minutes, le coussin chauffant s’arrête automatiquement. Le voyant Marche/Arrêt (D) s’allume.
• Arrêtez le coussin chauffant en actionnant la touche Marche/Arrêt(F) et remettez-le en marche.

de courant puis branchez la fiche de l’unité
de commande (G) dans la prise femelle du
coussin chauffant (H). Rebranchez la fiche
secteur (A) dans une prise de courant.
DANGER - Danger de mort dû à un choc électrique
• Avant de le nettoyer, débranchez impérativement le coussin chauffant de la prise de courant et déconnectez-
le de l’unité de commande.
• L’unité de commande et le cordon d’alimentation ne doivent en aucun cas entrer en contact avec de
l’humidité, de l’eau ou d’autres liquides en raison du risque de choc électrique. Par ailleurs, le coussin
chauffant ne doit pas être humide pendant son utilisation. Utilisez-le seulement s’il est sec, jamais quand il
est humide !
• Le coussin chauffant peut être lavé en machine à 30 °C avec de la lessive pour linge délicat.
• Ne pas repasser le coussin chauffant.
• Ne pas blanchir le coussin chauffant.
• Ne pas nettoyer le coussin chauffant à sec.
• Ne pas essorer le coussin chauffant.
• Ne pas utiliser de nettoyeur haute pression
• Laisser le coussin chauffant entièrement refroidir après utilisation avant de le
nettoyer.
1. Débranchez la fiche secteur de la prise de courant.
2. Déconnectez la fiche de l’unité de commande de la prise femelle du coussin
chauffant.
3. Lavez le coussin chauffant à 30 °C en cycle délicat. Si vous lavez le coussin
chauffant à la main, ne le pliez pas et ne le tordez pas pour l’essorer.
4. Posez le coussin chauffant à plat dans un lieu chaud et laissez-le entièrement sécher à l’air libre. N’utilisez
pas d’objets (p. ex. des pinces à linge) pour l’étendre. Cela risquerait de détériorer les câbles situés à
l’intérieur de l’appareil

• Après le lavage, attendez que le coussin chauffant soit entièrement sec avant d’insérer la fiche secteur et de
la brancher dans la prise de courant. Ne jamais utiliser l’appareil à l’état humide !
• Ne jamais mettre le coussin chauffant en marche pour le faire sécher.
