AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO PARENTS: This manual contains extremely important safety information. For your child’s
safety, it is your responsibility to completely review this information with your child and make sure that your child understand
all warnings, cautions, instructions and safety topics so that all riders are able to safely and responsibly use this scooter. Pulse
Performance Products™ advises that you periodically review and reinforce all information in this manual with all riders, and that
you inspect and maintain your scooter to insure their safety.
GENERAL WARNING: Riding a scooter can be a dangerous activity. Certain conditions may cause components to fail without
fault of the manufacturer. Scooter can and is intended to move and it is therefore possible to lose control, fall off and/or get into
dangerous situations that no amount of care, instruction or expertise can eliminate. If such a thing does occur you can become
seriously injured or die, even when using safety equipment and other safety precautions.
RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND ALWAYS USE COMMON SENSE.
• Ages 5+
• Do not exceed 140lbs (63.5kg) total weight on this Pulse Performance Products™ scooter.
• Always wear safety equipment such as a helmet, elbow pads and knee pads. Always wear a helmet when riding your
scooter and keep the chinstrap securely buckled. Always wear shoes.
• Read and understand the enclosed owner’s manual and all other literature before riding this product.
• Ride on smooth, paved surfaces away from motor vehicles.
• Avoid sharp bumps, drainage grates and sudden surface changes which could cause scooter to suddenly stop.
• Avoid streets and surfaces with water, sand, gravel, dirt, leaves, and other debris. Wet weather impairs traction, braking,
and visibility.
• Do not ride at night.
• Brake will become hot from continuous use. Do not touch after braking.
• Avoid excessive speed associated with downhill rides.
• Adults must assist children in the initial adjustment procedures to assemble the scooter.
• Obey all local trafc and scooter riding laws and regulations.
• Watch out for pedestrians.
• Check and secure all fasteners before every ride.

• Replace all worn or broken parts immediately.
• Ride only on at, dry surfaces such as pavement or level ground without loose debris, such as sand, leaves, rocks or
gravel.
• To help reduce the risk of injury, adult supervision is recommended.
• Rider weight does not necessarily mean a child’s size is appropriate to t or maintain control on this scooter.
• A parent’s decision to allow his or her child to ride this product should be based on the child’s skill, maturity and ability.
• Watch out for obstacles that could catch your wheel or force you to turn suddenly or lose control. Be careful to avoid
pedestrians, other wheeled products (such as skaters, skateboards, scooters, bikes, etc.) and children or animals that may
enter your path. Never use in roadways, near motor vehicles, or on or near steep inclines or steps, swimming pools or
other bodies of water.
ACCEPTABLE RIDING PRACTICES AND CONDITIONS
Direct parental supervision is required. Scooters are meant to be used only in controlled environments free of potential trafc
hazards and not on public streets. Do not allow your child to ride a scooter in any areas where vehicle trafc is present. The
child must maintain a hold on the handlebars at all times. Never allow more than one child at a time to ride the scooter. Never
use near steps, sloped driveways, hills, roadways, alleys, or swimming pool areas.
Do not ride a scooter in wet weather. Scooters are intended for use on solid, at, clean and dry surfaces such as pavement
or level ground without loose debris such as rocks or gravel. Wet, slick or uneven and rough surfaces may impair traction
and contribute to possible accidents. Do not ride a scooter in mud, ice, puddles or water. Avoid excessive speeds that can be
associated with downhill rides. Never risk damaging surfaces such as carpet or ooring by use of a scooter indoors. Do not ride
at night or when visibility is impaired.
PROPER RIDING ATTIRE
Always ensure child is wearing proper protective equipment such as an approved safety helmet. A helmet maybe legally
required by local law or regulation in your area. A child should always wear shoes, never ride barefooted or in sandals, and
keep shoelaces tied and out of the way of the wheels.
FAILURE TO USE COMMON SENSE AND HEED THE ABOVE WARNINGS FURTHER INCREASES RISKS OF SERIOUS
INJURY. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND WITH APPROPRIATE AND SERIOUS ATTENTION TO SAFE OPERATION.
ALWAYS USE CAUTION.
WARNING: ALWAYS INSPECT THE SCOOTER PRIOR TO RIDING. Properly inspecting and maintaining your scooter can
reduce the risk of injury. Always inspect your scooter before riding and maintain it.
WARNING: CHECK LOCAL LAWS REGARDING SCOOTER USE. Check local laws and regulations to see where and how
you may use your Pulse Performance Products™ scooter legally. In many states and local areas scooter riders are required BY
LAW to wear a helmet. Check local laws and regulations regarding laws governing helmet use and scooter operation in your
area.

Before You Start
Remove contents from box and remove any packaging that protect the components from damage during shipping. Inspect the
contents of the box to ensure that all components are included and are undamaged.

5mm hex wrench (included)

PRODUCTS™ SCOOTER. This scooter has been built to specic Pulse Performance Products™ design specications and
should not be modied. The original equipment supplied at the time of sale was selected on the basis of its compatibility with
the frame, fork and all other parts. Certain aftermarket products may or may not be compatible. Consult your retailer or visit
www.pulsescooters.com prior to modifying or replacing any component with a non-factory specied product. Altering of the
original components may or may not be compatible with the design and will void the warranty.

Set Up and Usage Instructions
Check Before Riding
1. Loosen the stem tube clamp bolts with the 5mm hex wrench and push the stem tube onto the fork until it bottoms out onto
the fork headset lock nut.
2. With the front wheel pointed straight forward, the handlebars should be square to the front wheel; tighten the stem tube
clamp bolts evenly and securely.
WARNING: Failure to properly install and tighten the stem tube clamp bolts may cause the rider to lose control and fall. If you
do not understand these instructions or the concept of “tighten securely” seek the assistance of a qualied mechanic.
Clamp
Using the 5mm hex wrench, check the stem tube clamp bolts to ensure that they are tightened securely before riding.
Wheel and Bearings
Under normal circumstances and conditions Pulse Performance Products™ wheels and wheel bearings are maintenance
free. Nonetheless, it is the responsibility of the owner or guardian to periodically inspect the wheels for wear and tear, the axle

bolts for proper tightness, and bearings for side-to-side play and loose parts. When a wheel or wheel bearing develops play,
this is an indication of excess wear and replacement is necessary. Replace immediately with only genuine Pulse Performance
Products™ wheels. Worn wheels and bearings are considered normal wear-and-tear and are not covered by the Pulse
Performance Products™ warranty. Wheels other than genuine Pulse Performance Products™ wheels may not be compatible
with your Pulse Performance Products™ scooter. The use of anything other than genuine Pulse Performance Products™
replacement parts may affect your safety and will void your warranty.
Cleaning Your Scooter
Wipe with a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust. Do not use industrial cleaners or solvents as they may damage the surfaces.
Do not use alcohol, alcohol-based or ammonia-based cleaners as they may damage or dissolve the plastic components or
soften the decals or decal adhesive.
How to Ride
To go: Place one foot onto the deck, push forward with the other foot.
To turn: Steer with both hands on the handlebar to turn. For enhanced cornering, lean slightly into the direction of the turn.
To stop: For controlled stops, apply the brake by stepping on the rear fender brake. Pulse Performance Products™
recommends that you practice applying the brake at various speeds and in an open area free from obstructions before riding
your Pulse Performance Products™ scooter around people and obstacles.
WARNING: Wheelies and other stunt-type riding reduces your ability to maneuver and control your scooter. Take the necessary
precautions such as wearing appropriate protective gear and practice in an area safe for riding that is free from obstructions.
Loose Parts
Check and secure all fasteners before every ride. Make sure the stem tube clamp is tightened properly before riding.

Safety Gear
Always wear proper protective equipment such as an approved safety helmet. Elbow and kneepads are also recommended.
Always wear shoes (lace up shoes with rubber soles), never ride barefoot or in sandals and keep shoelaces tied and out of the
way of the wheels.
Ride Carefully
Avoid steep inclines and don’t ride too fast, you can lose control and fall. Skateboard parks are not designed for scooters.
Never ride in trafc or on the street and watch your surroundings for pedestrians, bicyclists, boarders and skaters. Maintain a
hold onto the handlebars at all times.

Warranty
The manufacturer warranties this product to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase.
This Limited Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or any damage, failure or loss caused by improper assembly, main-
tenance, or storage.
This Limited Warranty will be void if the product is ever
• used in a manner other than for recreation
• modied in any way
• used as a rental
The manufacturer is not liable for incidental or consequential loss or damage due directly or indirectly to the use of this product.
Pulse Performance Products™ does not offer an extended warranty. If you have purchased an extended warranty, it must be
honored by the store at which the scooter was purchased from.
For your records, keep your original sales receipt with this manual.
