The PulseAudio PA-TXMIX analog audio mixing transmitter is an optional
add on unit for the PA-EXMIX analog audio mixing extender over Cat5e/6.
Have more than 2 sources needing to be mixed? No problem as an additional
PA-TXMIX can be used and cascaded over a single Cat5e/6 for even larger
solutions!

TRANSMITTER
1
1. Power LED: Illuminates when there is power connected on the receiver unit
2. Phantom Power LED: Indicates if Phantom Power is on
3. MIC IN: Balanced XLR microphone input
4. Mixing Dial: Mixes audio from MIC IN and AUX IN inputs. All the way left
is 100% MIC/XLR, 100% to the right is 100% AUX IN, in the middle is 50/50
mix of MIC/XLR and AUX IN audio
5. AUX IN: 3.5mm stereo audio input
6. CAT5 Out: Connect a single Cat5e/6 cable from the transmitting unit to the
receiving unit, or to an additional PA-TXMIX transmitter (sold separately)
7. CAT5 In: Connects from an additional PA-TXMIX transmitter (sold
separately) to cascade for connecting additional sources
8. Power Switch:
a. OFF turns o power and function to the unit
b. POWER turns power on
c. Phan. PWR enables Phantom Power for the XLR port

CONNECT AND OPERATE
CASCADING
1. Connect audio source(s) to each transmitter via XLR and/or 3.5mm stereo
cable to the appropriate connections
2. Connect the XLR and/or 3.5mm audio outputs from the receiver to an
amplifier or active speaker
3. Connect a single Cat5e/6 cable from the CAT5 OUT port of the first
transmitter to the CAT5 IN of the second transmitter
4. Connect a single Ca5e/6 cable from to the CAT5 OUT port of the second
transmitter, to the CAT5 IN port of the receiver
5. Connect power to the receiver
6. Adjust the mixing dial according and test

electronic equipment, the PA-TXMIX should be used with care. Please read

(axed to the bottom of the unit) and Invoice available for reference during
the call. Please read this Instruction Manual prior to calling or installing this
unit, since it will familiarize you with the capabilities of this product and its
proper installation. All active electronic products are 100% inspected and
tested to insure highest product quality and trouble-free installation and
operation. The testing process utilizes the types of high-definition sources and
displays typically installed for entertainment and home theatre applications.

LIMITED WARRANTY
With the exceptions noted in the next paragraph, Vanco warrants to the
original purchaser that the equipment it manufactures or sells will be free from
defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date
of purchase. Should this product, in Vanco’s opinion, prove defective within
this warranty period, Vanco, at its option, will repair or replace this product
without charge. Any defective parts replaced become the property of Vanco.
This warranty does not apply to those products which have been damaged
due to accident, unauthorized alterations, improper repair, modifications,
inadequate maintenance and care, or use in any manner for which the product
was not originally intended. Items integrated into Vanco products that are
made by other manufacturers, notably computer hard drives and liquid
crystal display panels, are limited to the term of the warranty oered by the
respective manufacturers. Such specific warranties are available upon request
to Vanco. A surge protector, power conditioner unit, or an uninterruptible
power supply must be installed in the electrical circuit to protect against
power surges. If repairs are needed during the warranty period the purchaser
will be required to provide a sales receipt/sales invoice or other acceptable
proof of purchase to the seller of this equipment. The seller will then contact
Vanco regarding warranty repair or replacement.
