PUREAIRO’S WORLD’S FOREMOST DEHUMIDIFIERS
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
For many years, PureAiro dehumidifiers have been known and acknowledged as market
leaders. Their company’s products are ideal and can be used even in the most extreme type
of environment. The units’ dehumidifying capacities are excellent even at lower humidity
and temperature levels. They post good results whenever used in places that are damp e.g.
garages, summer houses, or cellars. The dehumidifiers are also used for dry washing, pool
rooms, laundry rooms, and attics. They are energy-saving and very efficient. They don’t
cause the clothes to wear out.
The humidity amount that can be removed by the unit will depend on the placement,
temperature and humidity levels of the surrounding. The dehumidifier’s performance may
also be affected by external weather conditions. The absolute humidity tends to drop when
the weather is cold thus reduces the humidity extraction from the air. (There might still be a
high level of relative humidity). The unit should be used in temperatures not lower than +2˚C
and a maximum of +35˚C.
The dehumidifiers are intended to serve a long life span and still be in a safe condition for
operations.
HIGH HUMIDITY LEVELS POSES DANGER
Condensation of water occurs whenever water vapor and a cold body such as a cold wall or
window come into contact. When the water vapor cools down, condensation will occur thus
there will be the formation of water drops. The air gets musty whenever the humidity is high
and molds may form, thus cause intensive damage to the house and the households. Such
an environment may also cause illness to the occupants of the house. Spiders and mites
also breed in such environments. An effective dehumidifier creates safe and healthy levels
of humidity. For high efficiency, close the windows and doors of the rooms that are being
worked upon. The dehumidifier eliminates moisture and bad odors from the sportswear
outdoor gear. The dehumidifier can be used in washrooms, cellars, crawl spaces, summer-
houses, boats, and even caravans. Study the hints provided at the bottom of the manual if
the dehumidifier is used in environments that are colder.
PLACEMENT OF THE UNIT
Dehumidifiers by PureAiro are easy to transport and use. All you need is a 220 or 240V
power source.
Take note on the following:
Dehumidifiers by PureAiro are easy to transport and use. All you need is a 220 or 240V
power source.
Do not place the unit near heat sources or other radiators, or leave it exposed to sunlight.
This will lower the efficiency of the dehumidifier.
It is advisable that you use a heating fan or a radiator to maintain room temperatures
above 2˚C.
The unit should be placed at a minimal distance of 25cm from any obstructions or a wall,
to maximize the airflow.
The ideal place where the unit should be located is in the middle of the room.
OPERATING THE UNIT
If the unit was transported while in a horizontal position, the oil might have leaked from the
compressor. Thus, before you start using the dehumidifier, it is vital to let it stand for some
hours to allow the oil to flow back to the compressor. Failure to do so will lead to serious
damage to the dehumidifier.
Ensure that the water reservoir has been placed correctly and the float is freely moving
above the water inside the reservoir.
Use a grounded circuit only when connecting the dehumidifier.
Set the speed of the fan.
Set your desired humidity level using the humidity controls.

NOTE: The dehumidifier takes five minutes to restart when turned off. During this period,
the in-built automatic functions are disabled.
THE FLOAT
It comprises of a plastic cylinder which drapes on two arms. Naturally, as the level of water
rises, the float is lifted as it is rested on the bottom surface of the reservoir. To prevent the
tank from flooding, the dehumidifier responds by shutting down when the float attains a
certain height
After you empty the water reservoir, follow these steps to replace it into the unit.
Drive in the water reservoir until it comes into contact with the float.
From below, raise the edge of the reservoir to slightly slant the whole of the water
reservoir.
Drive in the reservoir in such a way that the float is not stuck behind it but inside it.

WATER DRAINAGE
There is a hose connection fitted on the dehumidifier. The condensate water is directly
drained away from the unit by attaching the hose to it.
Using the hose
Unplug the unit from the power supply. To reach the drip tray, remove the water
reservoir.
Attach the hose connector to the thread found on the dehumidifier then direct the hose to
an outlet for drainage. Ensure that the hose does not lie above the dip tray.
Plug the dehumidifier into power.

Drain the outlet without using the hose
Unplug the unit from the power supply and take out the water reservoir
Put the dehumidifier right above the drain to allow for the condensate water to sip into the
drain through the hole located at the dehumidifier’s base.
Connect the unit into power.
