B-Tronic è un ricevitore GPS 50Hz per moto BMW, serve a rilevare in modo automatico i tempi sul giro utilizzando come displa il cruscotto
originale della moto. B-Tronic è compatibile con tutti i modelli di BMW S1000RR e S1000R.
Collegare lo spinotto del B-Tronic nell'apposito ingresso della vostra moto che si trova nella fessura destra del telaio sotto il serbatoio, vedi foto
di seguito per localizzare il connettore. Rimuovere il cappuccio e collegare il connettore del prodotto.
Il modulo dovrà essere posizionato in un punto di facile accesso in quanto il pulsante dovrà essere
premuto durante la guida. Il ricevitore GPS si trova all interno del prodotto sul lato
opposto al pulsante, vedi foto a lato.
Posizionare il modulo ricevitore con le scritte rivolte verso l alto e in posizione orizzontale in modo tale che abbia una
ottima visibilità verso il cielo e che premendo il pulsante la mano non copra il ricevitore GPS (vedi foto di seguito); si
consiglia il posizionamento sulla piastra di sterzo della moto o sulla parte superiore del cruscotto.

Il serbatoio della moto ed i condotti dell'aria laterali sono altamente sconsigliati in quanto il ricevitore GPS verrebbe completamente coperto dal
busto e dalla testa del pilota ed inoltre durante una piega in curva il ricevitore GPS verrebbe completamente oscurato dalla moto stessa.
All'accensione il led sul modulo segnala lo stato del ricevitore GPS:
- Fisso: il segnale ricevuto non è sufficiente per determinare la posizione. Se dall'ultima accensione è trascorso molto tempo o avete percorso
diversi chilometri, per la ricezione del segnale potrebbe essere necessario aspettare anche 4-5 minuti, negli altri casi, il ricevitore impiegherà
circa 1 minuto. Se il led non cambia il suo stato cambiare posizione al ricevitore spostandolo in un punto più libero in quanto il ricevitore
potrebbe non avere una ricezione ottimale.
- Lampeggio lento: ricezione del segnale dei satelliti. Ora è possibile memorizzare la linea del traguardo, tali coordinate rimarranno in
memoria fino ad una nuova memorizzazione.
- Doppio lampeggio: la posizione rilevata risulta essere entro una distanza di 6 Km dalle coordinate del traguardo in memoria, in tal caso
non è necessario memorizzare nuovamente la linea del traguardo in quanto è già presente in memoria.
Per effettuare la rilevazione dei tempi sul giro è necessario impostare la funzione cronometro sul cruscotto; seguire il manuale di istruzioni della
moto per effettuare l'operazione.
Memorizzazione linea del traguardo: premere il pulsante nel punto in cui si vuole memorizzare il traguardo (non posizionare il traguardo
nel centro o nei pressi di una curva ma sempre in un rettilineo); alla pressione del pulsante il led smetterà di lampeggiare per un secondo per
poi riprendere con il doppio lampeggio e nello stesso tempo partirà la sessione nel dispositivo a cui è collegato il ricevitore.
Si sconsiglia di eseguire la procedura di memorizzazione del traguardo dalla pit-lane in quanto la distanza dal passaggio effettivo della moto
potrebbe non essere sufficiente.
Fissare il cavo del ricevitore per tutta la sua lunghezza, assicurarsi che il cavo non sia in tensione durante l’uso del mezzo.

B-Tronic is a 50Hz GPS receiver for BMW models wich can determine lap times. It uses the original BMW dashboard and the lap times will be
displa ed directl on our dash. B-Tronic is compatible with all BMW S1000RR & S1000R models.
Fit the B-Tronic connector to the special input of our motorc cle, ou can find it on a right hole of the frame under the tank, check the images
below to locate the connector. Remove the cap and connect the B-Tronic's connector.
The module must be place in a eas access place since the button must be pressed while driving. The
GPS is located inside the module in the opposite side of the button, see the image
beside.
Place the receiver module with the writing facing upwards and in a horizontal position with a clear and unobstructed view
of the sky placed in way that pushing the button you will not cover the GPS receiver with your hand (see the image below);
we suggest the fork plate of the bike or the top side of the dashboard.

The tank fuel or the inner intakes of the bikes are advised because the GPS receiver would be full covered b the bod of the rider and his
helmet or would be covered b the bike itself during a corner with high lean angle.
When switching on the device, the led on the module indicates the GPS receiver status:
- Solid: the signal which is being received is not strong enough to locate the position. If a long period of time has passed or if ou have travelled
several kilometres from the place ou last switched on the device, ou have to wait up to 4-5 minutes to receive a signal; otherwise one minute is
necessar to locate the position. If the led does not change status, position the receiver in a less restricted area because the GPS receiver
couldn't receive a good signal.
- Slow blink: satellites signal reception. It is now possible to store our destination. Such coordinates will be kept stored until subsequent
memorisation, even in the event of batter replacement.
- Double blink: the position which has been detected is within 6km from the coordinates of the previousl stored destination; in this case
there is no need to store the destination again as it is alread memorized.
To be able to reveal the lap times ou must activate the lap timer on the dash, refers to motorc cle's instruction manual.
Storage of finish line: press the button in the location where ou wants to store the finish line (don't place the finish line in the middle or
nearb a corner but alwa s on a straight); after pressing the button the led will stop to flash for a while and at the same moment the session will
begin in the device to which the receiver is connected.
We advise to storage the finish line coordinates from the pit-lane since the distance from the real trajector of the bike ma not be enough.
Fix the entire length of the sensor cable, make sure that the cable is not under tension when using the device.
