B-Tronic è un ricevitore GPS 50Hz per moto BMW, che permette di rilevare in modo automatico i tempi sul iro utilizzando come display il cruscotto ori inale
della moto. B-Tronic è compatibile con tutti i modelli di BMW S1000RR e S1000R.
Installazione
Colle are lo spinotto del B-Tronic nell'apposito connettore della vostra moto che si trova sotto il serbatoio, nella fessura destra del telaio (vedi foto di se uito).
Rimuovere il cappuccio e colle are il connettore del prodotto.
Posizionare il modulo ricevitore con le scritte rivolte verso l'alto e in posizione orizzontale in modo tale che abbia un’ottima visibilità verso il cielo, si consiglia di
osizionare sulla iastra di sterzo il iù orizzontale ossibile cercando di evitare che sia rivolto verso il ilota.
Il serbatoio della moto ed i condotti dell'aria laterali sono altamente sconsigliati in quanto il ricevitore GPS verrebbe completamente coperto dal
busto e dalla testa del pilota ed inoltre durante una pie a in curva il ricevitore GPS verrebbe completamente oscurato dalla moto stessa.
Fissare il cavo del ricevitore per tutta la sua lun hezza, assicurarsi che il cavo non sia in tensione durante l’uso del mezzo
Utilizzo
Nota: nei modelli S1000RR dal 2015 in oi è necessario controllare che l’im ostazione LAP TRIGGER sia su AUTO o EXTERNAL nel menu
( MENU RACE:LAPTM ; TRIG=AUTO o EXTERN)
All'accensione il led sul modulo se nala lo stato del ricevitore GPS:
- Fisso: il se nale ricevuto non è sufficiente per determinare la posizione. Se dall'ultima accensione è trascorso molto tempo o avete percorso diversi chilometri,
per la ricezione del se nale potrebbe essere necessario aspettare anche 4-5 minuti, ne li altri casi, il ricevitore impie herà circa 1 minuto. Se il led non cambia il
suo stato cambiare posizione al ricevitore spostandolo in un punto più libero in quanto potrebbe non avere una ricezione ottimale.
- Lam eggio lento: ricezione del se nale dei satelliti. Ora è possibile memorizzare la linea del tra uardo, tali coordinate rimarranno in memoria fino ad una
nuova memorizzazione.
- Do io lam eggio: la posizione rilevata risulta essere entro una distanza di 3 Km dalle coordinate del tra uardo in memoria, in tal caso non è necessario
memorizzare nuovamente la linea del tra uardo in quanto è ià presente in memoria.
Per effettuare la rilevazione dei tempi sul iro è necessario impostare la funzione cronometro sul cruscotto; se uire il manuale di istruzioni della moto per
effettuare l'operazione.
Circuiti memorizzati: B-Tronic BW400 ha ià memorizzati nella sua memoria interna i 104 circuiti mondiali più famosi; nel caso in cui vi troviate in uno di
questi non sarà necessario effettuare la memorizzazione della linea del tra uardo. É possibile verificare la lista dei circuiti nel fo lio alle ato oppure, nel caso in cui
non si dispon a più della lista, verificarlo direttamente in circuito accendendo il ricevitore controllando se il led effettua il doppio o sin olo lampe io.
Funzione “Fastest La Antici ated”: sui modelli S1000RR dal 2012 in poi e su tutte le S1000R è presente la spia di “ iro veloce
anticipato”; o ni 100mt il cruscotto confronterà il tempo attuale con il corrispondente intermedio del mi lior iro memorizzato; se il
tempo intermedio del iro in corso risulterà mi liore dell’intermedio memorizzato si nifica che state percorrendo il vostro mi lior
iro e quindi la spia si accenderà, nei 100mt successivi verrà effettuato un nuovo controllo e così via fino al tra uardo, in questo modo
in qualsiasi punto della pista saprete se state percorrendo il mi lior iro oppure no con un veloce colpo d’occhio.
Nel caso in cui il vostro circuito non sia tra quelli memorizzati ricordiamo che B-Tronic ha la possibilità di memorizzarne uno
manualmente il quale rimarrà in memoria fino a quando non verrà ese uita una nuova procedura di memorizzazione manuale che sovrascriverà il circuito
precedentemente salvato.
ATTENZIONE: nel caso in cui si effettui la memorizzazione di un tra uardo nelle vicinanze di una pista ià caricata in memoria, il ricevitore utilizzerà
sem re quella creata dall’utente escludendo quella in memoria; er questo motivo non memorizzare una linea del traguardo manualmente nei
ressi di un circuito già caricato in memoria.
Memorizzazione manuale della linea del traguardo: premere il pulsante nel punto in cui si desidera memorizzare il tra uardo (non posizionare il
tra uardo nei pressi di una curva ma sempre in un rettilineo); alla pressione del pulsante il led rimarrà fisso per qualche secondo per poi riprendere con il doppio
lampe io. Evitare di ese uire la procedura dalla pit-lane in quanto la distanza eccessiva tra il punto memorizzato e quello effettivo in pista potrebbe
compromettere la corretta rilevazione dei tempi sul iro.

B-Tronic is a 50Hz GPS receiver for BMW models wich can determine lap times. It uses the ori inal BMW dashboard and the lap times will be displayed directly
on your dash. B-Tronic is compatible with all BMW S1000RR & S1000R models.
Installation
Fit the B-Tronic connector to the special input of your motorcycle, you can find it on a ri ht hole of the frame under the tank, check the ima es below to locate the
connector. Remove the cap and connect the B-Tronic's connector.
Place the receiver module with the writin facin upwards and in a horizontal position with a clear and unobstructed view of the sky, it is recommended to
lace on the steering late as horizontal as ossible trying to avoid that is facing the ilot.
Do not lace the roduct on the tank fuel or the inner intakes of the bikes because the GPS receiver would be fully covered by the body of the rider and
his helmet or would be covered by the bike itself durin a corner with hi h lean an le.
Fix the entire len th of the sensor cable, make sure that the cable is not under tension when usin the device.
Usage
Note: the S1000RR model from 2015 it is necessary to check that the LAP TRIGGER is set to AUTO or EXTERNAL in the menu ( MENU
RACE:LAPTM ; TRIG=AUTO o EXTERN)
When switchin on the device, the led on the module indicates the GPS receiver status:
- Solid: the si nal which is bein received is not stron enou h to locate the position. If a lon period of time has passed or if you have travelled several kilometres
from the place you last switched on the device, you have to wait up to 4-5 minutes to receive a si nal; otherwise one minute is necessary to locate the position. If
the led does not chan e status, position the receiver in a less restricted area because it couldn't receive a ood si nal.
- Slow blink: satellites si nal reception. It is now possible to store your destination. Such coordinates will be kept stored until subsequent memorisation, even in
the event of battery replacement.
- Double blink: the position which has been detected is within 3km from the coordinates of the previously stored destination; in this case there is no need to
store the destination a ain as it is already memorized.
To be able to reveal the lap times you must activate the lap timer on the dash, refers to motorcycle's instruction manual.
Predefined tracks: B-Tronic BW400 has already stored in its internal memory the 104 most famous world circuits; in case you are in one of these it will not be
necessary to set the finish line. You can check the list of tracks in the attached sheet otherwise verify it directly on the product checkin the led status (double or
sin le blink).
“Fastest La Antici ated” function: on models S1000RR from 2012 and models S1000R you can find “fastest lap anticipated”
li ht; When you start a new lap your intermediate times are taken every 100mt of the track and compared with the correspondin
intermediate times of the best lap stored in memory. If your intermediate times show that you are faster than on your previous best
lap the processor anticipates that this lap will be your new best time. The indicator for the fastest lap li hts up. In this way at any
point of the track you will know if you are ridin or not the best lap with a quick lance.
In case your circuit is not listed we remind that B-Tronic can store one circuit manually which will remain in memory until you will not run a new manual stora e
procedure that will overwrite the previously saved circuit.
WARNING: if you store a circuit in the proximity of a track already loaded in memory, the receiver will always use the one created manually by excludin the
track in memory; for this reason do not store manually a finish line near a circuit already in memory.
Manually set of a finish line: press the button in the location where you wants to store the finish line (don't place the finish line nearby a corner but always on
a strai ht); after pressin the button the led will be solid for a while, then will restart with double blink. Avoid to set the finish line coordinates from the pit-lane
because the distance from this point to the real trajectory of the bike may not be enou h.
