FIFTH WHEEL OPERATION
Step 1 Unhooking from tow vehicle
Press the system power button and wait for light LED lights to stop going in circles.
Now you can extend both front jacks together by pressing (front)
button, or you can run them individually by pressing the (left) or (right) button. Do this until
you can pull tow vehicle out from under the coach.
Step 2 Leveling the coach in Automatic mode
Check to make sure the front of the coach is setting higher that the rear, then press the (Auto)
button. At this point the coach will drop in the front to start the leveling process, this should
take 2 to 3 minutes. Once the coach is level there will be a green Bigfoot light lit up solid on your
panel. Turn the system off
Step 3 Retracting and hooking to tow vehicle
The first thing we do is to retract the rear jacks, we do this by pressing the (rear) button and the
(retract) buttons at the same time until the pumps shut off. Once the rear jacks are up we may
need to lift the coach up in the front to get high enough to hook to the truck, To do this press the
(Front) button until height is achieved, back truck into position, then press (Front) and (Retract)
buttons at the same time to lower the unit onto the truck. Once connected to the truck fully
retract jacks to fully retracted position and turn power off.

MAINTENANCE GUIDE
One advantage of owning a Bigfoot leveling system from Quadra Mfg. is that
your system takes very little in the way of maintenance. here is a guide to follow
for years of carefree service.
NOTE: Maintenance related problems and service are not covered by your warranty.
Monthly
Monthly you should check your battery connections to make sure they are tight and that there is
no corrosion on the battery terminals. This can cause irregular voltage levels.
Monthly do a quick visual check to make sure there is no fluid leaking from any hoses or the
cylinder, also check to make sure there is now obvious damage from road debris.
Six months
You should extend levelers and spray rams (chrome shaft) with a 100% silicone lubricant. We
strongly discourage the use of Wd40, this attracts dust and dirt.
We also encourage you to check your foot pads to make sure they are tight when in the retracted
position. When retracted they should not move (they spin this is normal)
You should also check the limit switch pins on all four cylinders to make sure they are moving up
and down freely, the silicone spray can also be used on the pins to help prevent road grime from
building up on them.
Leaving cylinders extended for long periods of time
This is a very common question, Our product is designed to be extended for long periods of time,
leaving your jacks down while in storage is fine. When you go to use them again you will want to
inspect each cylinder to make sure there is no dirt, rocks, or debris on the cylinder or foot. This is
a good time to spray each cylinder with 100% silicone spray to help the cylinder seals, they will
be very dry after sitting in the extended positions for long periods of time.
Extreme conditions (very hot, salty, high winds, or dirt
In these extreme conditions you should follow the same procedure as leaving them exposed for a
long period of time. In these conditions the cylinders take the brunt of these conditions and more
care should be taken to ensure no damage is done.
Any questions on these procedure please call
