INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing our product which adopts excellent workmanship and exceptional
reliability.
Your telephone is designed to give you flexibility in use and high quality performance. To get the
most from your new telephone, we suggest that you take a few minutes to read through this
instruction manual to familiarize yourself with all the features of the product.
The product is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase shown on your sales receipt.
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse or negligence or by excessive voltage.
For example, faults on the telephone line or lightning.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using your telephone instrument, the following basic safety precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons:
1. Read, understand and follow all warnings and instructions
2. Unplug the product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaning materials
nor aerosols. Use a soft damp cloth for cleaning.
3. Do not place this product on unstable surfaces. The product may drop, causing serious
damage to the product.
4. Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords as this can result in fire or electric shock.
5. Never push foreign objects of any kind into this product through cabinet slots as they may
affect dangerous voltage points or short circuit parts that could result in fire or electric shock.
Never spill any liquids on the product.
6. Avoid moving or disconnecting this unit during a heavy storm, as there may be a risk of electric
shock from lightning. Avoid conversations during an electric storm.
7. Do not disassemble this product. If service or repair work is required, contact your qualified
technician. This will void the warranty, please send to service center for any defects.
8. Do not use the product in the vicinity of a gas leak.

GETTING STARTED
1. The unit requires 3×1.5V AA batteries. Open the battery compartment cover and insert the
batteries, observe the polarity, then close the cover (Proposal use alkaline batteries). The
time should be displayed on the liquid crystal screen after the batteries are inserted.
2. Insert one end of the line cord into the connector marked “line” at the base of the telephone,
insert the other end into the wall outlet.
3. Connect the one end of the curly cord to the handset and the other end to the base of the
telephone.
4. Set the dialing mode to PULSE or TONE depending on the service providers requirements.
5. Apply for caller identification from your service provider.
RECEIVING A CALL
1. On receipt of an incoming call, the telephone rings, and the LCD displays the callers number,
the date, time, incoming number and the NEW icon.
2. If the same number is received again, and the previous call has not been reviewed, the LCD
displays REP icon.
When the incoming memory is full, the latest incoming number replaces the oldest number in
the memory.
NOTE: For the phone to display incoming numbers and other information, you must have
an active Caller ID subscription with your service provider.
¾From the handset
1. Pick up the handset and talk to the other party.
2. To end the call, return the handset to the base.
¾Switching to speakerphone
1. When using the handset, press key and return the handset to the base.
2. To end the call, press key again.
¾From the speakerphone
1. When the telephone rings, press key and talk to the caller. For the other party to hear your
voice clearly, speak from a distance of not more than 32cm from the telephone.
2. To end the call, press key again.
MAKING A CALL
¾From the handset
1. Pick up the handset.
2. When you hear dial tone, dial the desired number.
3. The telephone will start to time the conversation after 6 seconds.
4. To end the call, return the handset to the base.

¾From the Speakerphone
1. Press key
2. When you hear the dial tone, dial the desired number.
3. The telephone will start to time the conversation after 6 seconds.
4. To end the call, press key again.
¾Pre-dialing function
1. When the handset is on the base, dial the desired number.
2. If a mistake is made, use the DEL key to edit the number.
3. Press key or pick up the handset and the number will be dialed automatically.
¾Redial
1. Pick up the handset or press key,
2. Press the REDIAL key, the last dialed number will be dialed again
REVIEWING, CALLING BACK AND DELETING INCOMING NUMBERS
¾Reviewing
In on-hook state, press ▲or ▼key to scroll through and review the numbers.
¾Deleting
In on-hook state, when the desired number is displayed on the LCD, press the DEL key, the
number is deleted. Or press and hold the DEL key for 3 seconds; all the incoming numbers will be
deleted.
¾Calling back
In on-hook state, scroll to the desired number, press or the REDIAL key or pick up the
handset, the number is dialed out.
NOTE: If the PABX code is set, the telephone will detect and add the PABX code before the
number automatically and then dial back. The PABX code will be dialed first, followed by a 2
second pause and then the telephone number.
REVIEWING, CALLING BACK AND DELETING OUTGOING NUMBERS
¾Reviewing
In on-hook state, press the OUT key, then repeatedly press OUT to review the outgoing numbers
one by one.
¾Calling back
1. In on-hook state, press the OUT key to review the desired number, then press or the
REDIAL key or pick up the handset, and the number is dialed out.
¾Deleting
1. In on-hook state, press the OUT key to scroll to the desired number.
2. Press the DEL key and the number is deleted
3. Or press and hold the DEL key for 3 seconds, all numbers will be deleted.

SETTING MENU
¾Setting date & time
1. In on-hook state, press the SET key, the LCD displays SET 1 DATE. Press the SET key again,
the year flashes on the LCD display.
2. Press ▲or ▼key to edit the year.
3. Press the SET key to confirm and enter into the month setting.
4. Repeat the above procedure for month setting.
5. Repeat the above procedure for date and time setting.
¾Setting Local Area Code
1. In on-hook state, press the SET key and press the ▲key, the LCD displays SET 2 CODE,
press the SET key again, the LCD displays CODE ------ and the first “-” flashes.
2. Press ▲or ▼key to enter the first digit of the area code.
3. Press the SET key to confirm and enter the next digit of the area code.
4. Repeat the above procedure to enter the rest of the code.
¾Setting Long Distance Code
1. In on-hook state, press the SET key and press the ▲key twice, the LCD displays SET 3
LCODE, press the SET key again, LCD displays ---------------0 (or the preset code, press the
DEL key to delete the code).
2. Enter the long distance code using the numerical keypad. A maximum of 12 digits can be
entered.
3. Press the SET key to confirm and exit.
¾Adjusting LCD Contrast
1. In on-hook state, press the SET key and press ▲key three times, the LCD displays SET 4
LCD, press the SET key again, the LCD displays LCD 5
2. Press ▲or ▼key to adjust the LCD contrast, a total of 8 levels can be selected.
3. Press the SET key to confirm and exit.
In on-hook state, press the FLASH key to enter LCD contrast setting directly, then press
the FLASH key continuously to adjust the LCD contrast.
¾Setting Flash Time
1. In on-hook state, press the SET key and press ▲key four times, the LCD displays SET 5
FLASH, press the SET key again, the LCD displays FLASH 100
2. Press ▲or ▼key to edit the Flash time (100, 300, 600 and 1000ms)
3. Press the SET key to confirm.
Note: If the telephone is left idle for longer than 16 seconds and no key is pressed, the setting
mode will return to the on-hook state.
¾Setting the PABX CODE
1. In on-hook state, press and hold the DEL key for 3 seconds to set the PABX code, the LCD

displays PCODE - and the “-” flashes.
2. Press ▲or ▼key to enter the PABX code from 0 to 9 or -.
3. If no number is entered -”, it means no PABX code has been set.
4. Press the SET key to confirm and quit.
¾Setting Alarm Clock
1. In on-hook state, press the P/ALM key once, the LCD displays 12-00 AL1,
2. Press ▲or ▼key to select ON or OFF. LCD displays icon when the alarm is set to ON.
3. Press the SET key, value “12” starts to flash.
4. Press ▲or ▼key to set the alarm hour and press the SET key to confirm and enter into the
alarm minute setting.
5. Press ▲or ▼key to edit the alarm minutes and press the SET key to confirm and enter into
the next group of alarm clock setting.
6. Repeat the above steps to set additional alarms.
NOTE: The first 3 groups of alarm clock settings will be a repeat alarm and will be active
every day while the last 2 groups of alarm clock settings will be once-off alarms.
SECRET CODE SETTING AND REMOTE MONITOR FUNCTION
¾Setting
1. In on-hook state, press and hold the RING key for 3 seconds, the LCD displays Pin ----.
2. Enter a 4-digit PIN using the numerical keypad.
3. Press DEL to correct errors, press SET to confirm.
4. When the last digit of the secret code is #, the telephone will activate the remote monitor
function.
5. Set the ringing volume to dB0. (Please refer to section ““SETTING RINGING TONE AND
ADJUST RINGER VOLUME”).
¾Using the secret code function
1. Secret code: When the ringer volume is set to dB0 (do not disturb mode), and a call is
received the telephone will not ring although the calling party will hear a ringing tone. After 3 to
4 rings the calling party will hear a short beep sound. If the calling party knows your secret
code and enters the secret code after hearing the beep sound, the telephone will start to ring.
You are now able to answer the call by lifting the handset or by pressing the key
2. Remote monitor: If the last digit of the secret code that was entered is #, after the calling party
enters in the correct secret code, the telephone will go into hands free mode automatically.
The caller can now monitor the vicinity near the telephone.
3. If the caller keys in the wrong code, he/she will have to call again and key in the correct secret
code.
NOTE: This function is useful only when the telephone ringer volume is set to dB0. The calling
party must know the secret code in order to enable this feature.

TRANSFER BETWEEN PARALLEL PHONES
¾Setting the paging number
1. In on-hook state, press and hold the SET key, the LCD displays EL--
2. Key in “*” and the paging number (example “*1”and ”*2” ), use the DEL key to edit
3. Press the SET key to confirm and exit.
¾Transferring a call to paralleled phones:
Upon an incoming call, use one of the paralleled phones to answer the call. Press ”*” and the
paging number that was set in the other telephone to where you want to transfer the call, the other
telephone rings, pick up its handset or press key to answer the incoming call.
NOTE: Please use same model telephones for the above feature to work. Any special
services starting with “*” offered by your service provider may not function properly.
Batteries must be inserted for this feature to function properly.
ANTI-DIALING FROM PARALLEL PHONES FUNCTION
1. In on-hook state, press and hold #key for 3 seconds, LCD displays SPI OFF
2. Press # key again, LCD displays SPI ON
3. Press the SET key to confirm
When the anti-dialing function is set to ON, it will not be possible to establish a call from a
parallel telephone plugged into the same line.
SETTING RINGING TONE AND ADJUST RINGING VOLUME
There are 5 normal ringing tones and 11 ring melodies for selection:
1. In on-hook state, press the RING key, the LCD displays ring 02 db3
2. Press the RING key to select the desired ringing tone.
3. Press ▲or ▼key to adjust ringing volume.
4. Press SET to confirm and exit.
NOTE: The volume ranges from dB0-dB3, with dB3 being the loudest, and dB0 being the “Do Not
Disturb” mode. If the phone is set to DND mode, the telephone will not ring when there is an
incoming call.
DO NOT DISTURB IN REAL TIME
Upon receipt of an incoming call when the telephone rings, press the DEL key, to stop the ringing,
the NEW LED will flash.
ADJUST HANDSFREE VOLUME
In hands free mode, press ▲or ▼key to adjust the hands-free volume. The LCD displays the
volume level. There are a total of 4 selectable speakerphone volumes.
SELECTING PULSE OR TONE DIALING MODE
1. In on-hook state, press and hold *key for 3 seconds, the LCD displays P, the dialing mode is

set as Pulse.
2. Press *key once again, the LCD displays T, the dialing mode is set as Tone. Press the SET
key to confirm.
MUTE FUNCTION
By pressing the MUTE button during a conversation, the other party can not hear your
conversation. Press the MUTE button again to restore the conversation.
MUSIC ON HOLD
¾Hold music selection
There are 6 selectable music on hold melodies.
1. In off-hook or hands free state, press the HOLD key
2. Press the OUT key to select the desired music on hold. The music is played at same time.
3. Press ▲or ▼key to adjust the volume of the music on hold melody.
¾When talking over handset, press the HOLD key to activate the Music On Hold function.
The other party is placed ON HOLD and will hear the melody.
1. Press the HOLD key to release hold mode and to continue the conversation.
2. Hang up the handset, to enter into hands free hold mode.
¾When speaking in hand free mode, press the HOLD key to activate the Music On Hold mode
the other party is placed on HOLD and will hear the Music On Hold melody.
1. Pick up the handset to continue the conversation, or
2. Press key to quit the hold mode and continue the conversation in hands-free mode.
ONE TOUCH MEMORY OPERATION
¾Store the number in one-touch memory
1. Pre-dial the desired number or review the incoming or outgoing number you wish to store.
2. Press the STORE key
3. Press the M1 or M2 key
¾Make a call from the one-touch memory
In off-hook or on-hook state, press the M1 or M2 key to dial out the stored number.
Or in on-hook state, press the STORE key + M1 or M2 key, the LCD displays the stored number,
press or the REDIAL key or pick up the handset to dial the number, or press the REDIAL key
twice to dial the number with the long distance code ahead of the number.
TWO TOUCH MEMORY OPERATION
¾Store the number in two-touch memory
1. Pre-dial the desired number or review an incoming or outgoing number that you wish to store.
2. Press the STORE key
3. Press one of numeric keys (0-9) on the numeric keypad. The telephone number is now stored
