Cooling Coil
Installation Guide

Installaon has been designed to be easily
performed by any competent person.
Simply, install the Cooling Coil to the air supply ducng, connect the
water pipes to the cooling unit, install the pre-wired duct sensor, ll
with water and switch on.
The unit has been designed for minimal owner maintenance and only
requires annual lter cleaning and inspecon. If there is ever a fault, the
units portable dimensions mean you can simply disconnect the unit and
send it back for repair.

2. Duct Mounted Cooling Coil
3. Plug
4. High Eciency Non-Toxic Refrigerant
Anfreeze (1 Litre)
5. Duct Temperature Sensor
6. Duct Temperature Mounng Flange
7. Jubilee Clips (x4)
8. PTFE Tape
9. Hose Tail (x2)
10. Pipe Insulaon

1Open your package and
check contents.

Install Cooling Coil into
room air supply ducng
aer the MVHR unit.

Fasten Cooling Coil to
wall or oor via provided
brackets.
4(On 200mm coil only)
Aach hose tails to inlet
& outlet on Cooling
Coil, using PTFE tape
provided.
5Cut hose to length (insure
hoses do not kink). Insulate
hoses with black insulaon
provided.

Drill 9mm hole in air extract
ducng before the unit for
temperature probe.
Aach pipes to hose tail
connecons on the unit
and fasten with provided
jubilee clips.
Aach other end of pipes
to hose tail connecons
on Cooling Coil and fasten
with provided jubilee clips.

Fasten and seal sensor
mounng plate to ducng,
using screws provided.
Insert temperature probe
approximately 50% inside
the duct.
10 Connect temperature
sensor to chiller unit.

Remove cap and pour all
the provided glycol mix into
unit.

Unit temperature factory
set at 17°C and cannot be
changed.
The temperature the unit
turns on and o is set using
the Inkbird temperature
controller on the right
hand side of the unit.
(Currently set at turning on at 26°C and
turning o at 22°C to change this follow
instrucons on the next page.)
Plug in the unit & switch on.
(Check water level aer switching on,
pour clean water into unit unl the
water level maintains the full mark.)

(Oponal) connect pipes
(maximum 5m length) to the
vent outlets at the back of
the unit to expel heat given
o by fans.

How to set the chiller unit to turn on at 26°C and
turn o at 22°C. These instrucons can be applied
to suit the on/o temperature of your choice.
