Upgrading Tenor DX Series
The telephony ports can not be upgraded.
The ports are fixed at 2, 4, 6, or 8 T1/E1/PRIs
Software upgrades are limited by the hardware
configurations required to support the wide range of
options.
The basic DX2008 is not software upgradeable. It is a fixed
configuration that will only support 8 VoIP channels.
The DX 2016 is upgradeable to DX2024 or DX2030
The DX 2024 is upgradeable to DX2030
The DX4096 is upgradeable to DX4120

Tenor Configuration Manager Makes Tenor
Even Easier To Configure
Quintum has developed a completely new Graphical
User Interface for the new DX Series products.
This web-based tool enables the user to set
configuration parameters using an intuitive graphical
interface.
The Tenor Configuration Manager can configure a
remote unit anywhere in the IP network from the
user’s PC.
The Tenor Configuration Manager consists of a Java
application which can be loaded on any PC using
Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating systems.
