R-Quest USB to PR-13 Bridge (USB2PR13) Quickstart Guide
Please follow the steps below to set up the Prism-Plus USB Adaptor.
●Unpack your Prism printer from its original box.
●Make absolutely sure to remove the 2 pieces of packing foam from the inside of the printer.
●Power down your TP-5100 print station, or other R-Quest duplication system.

●Make sure that your Rimage Prism printer has the R-Quest adaptor plate bolted onto the bottom.
●Prepare the locating pins of the printer plate of the 5100, as shown.

●Place the Prism printer on the printer plate of the 5100, using the locating pins.

●Connect the power cable directly to your Prism Printer.
●Connect the small end of the Rimage parallel cable to the rear of the Prism printer.
●Connect the small end of the Rimage tray-control cable to the rear of the Prism printer.

●Connect the large end of the Rimage parallel cable to the R-Quest USB adaptor.
●Connect the large end of the Rimage tray-control cable to the R-Quest USB adaptor.
●Connect a USB cable from the back of your 5100 to the R-Quest USB adaptor.

●Flip on the Power switch, on the rear of the Prism printer.
●Wait until the Prism printer is fully initialized.
●Power on your 5100.
●When your 5100 reaches a certain point in the boot up process, it should show a screen like this:

●If that screen has the "Prism Plus" line, then your printer is ready.
●If you miss that screen, you can go to your "Setup" Menu, and enter "Printer Setup" to verify
that your printer is ready.
●From the 5100's main menu, enter the "Utilities" Menu. Go to "Loader Utilities", "Loader
Utilities", "Extended Diags".
○After the Loader calibrates from your entry into Extended Diags, place a disc on the pick
finger.
○Enter "Set Printer", and align your loader robot to your printer.
○You may have to adjust the thumbscrew on the printer plate, to make larger adjustments.
●At this point, your printer should be completely ready to use.
