1. Introduction
ThismanualdescribestheTX3000SS,aradiotransmitterforfrequencymodulation
audiobroadcastiong.
The TX3000SS is a modular device, built up of components assembled in a 19”
rack,completewithelectrical and RF wiring.
Thismanualshallbereadtogetherwiththemanualsofthedifferentcomponents,that
areattached herewith.
Detailsaboutwarranty,safety,workingpriciplesandtechnicalspecificationsaregiven
inthe single manuals.
2. Configurations
2.1 General
Theessentialcomponentsof the TX3000SS are:
•1 PTX100LCD/s Exciter;
•1 PJ3000MAmplifier:
•3 PJ1000M LCD amplifiers;
•1HC3hybridcoupler.
Different configurations of the transmitter are available. The costumer will choose
theonethatbestfits his need in terms, e.g. of redudancyor telecontrol capabilities.
Thischapter describes the differentconfigurationstheTX3000SScanhave. Please
notethattransmitterslayoutsgivenhereinarereferenceones;theheightoftheracks
and the disposition of the modules may vary and will be specified at the time of
placing the order. The model names of the different transmitters refer to the
componentsincluded.

2.2 TX3KSSRD/RDS
This version is the most complete version of the TX500SS. With respect to the
“essential”components,it features:
•Double exciters (2 PTX100LCD/s);
•Double RDS encoders (2 TRDS4001);
•Automaticchange-over(SCM1+1LCD);
•Telemetryunit(TLC300);
Ofcourse,it also includes the amplifier (PJ3000M).
